Enchants / Abilities Kinetic Shock -- Short-ranged mode. When fired, releases a strong kinetic blast equal to a T5 punch that extends up to 10 meters. Power of the blast is adjustable. No recoil.
Flare Shot -- Long-ranged mode. Flying kinetic shock. This mode fires off projectiles that delivers a kinetic shock upon impact, but only has power equal to a T4 punch. In this mode, the projectiles automatically explode when it reaches 200 meters from its origin point, but the distance can be shortened. Similar to the previous mode, the power can be adjusted.
Energy Shield -- Defensive mode. Creates a semi free-form shield that blocks all damage (Physical and Magical) that affects it. Nothing can stick to the energy shield, and is completely inert to all other primal and combination elements. Once it has blocked T3 END worth of damage, it goes on cooldown for 12 posts. If its not broken when it has been switched off, the energy shield recovers durability over time, being fully repaired within 1-6 posts depending on how much damage has been sustained.
Proximity Shield -- An advanced form of the Energy Shield requiring the two gauntlets to be used. This creates a near impenetrable bubble around the user that protects them from harm. The shield can withstand T5 END worth of damage. If the shield is broken, both Proximity and Energy shields are put on cooldown for 16 posts. Similarly to Energy Shield, if disabled before it is broken, it can regain its durability within 1-8 posts. The bubble is 5 meters in diameter, is capable of housing Felicity an a few other people, and wraps around terrain, but also has a minimum distance between each edge to keep the user and anyone inside the bubble from getting crushed. Note that Felicity and anyone else within the shield can't directly attack from the inside, and she has to remain stationary to maintain the shield.
Utility Constructs -- Using the same energy to create the shields, the user can create temporary, reasonably-sized constructs that range from hand tools to daggers and swords. The constructs can't be separated too far (3 meters) from the gauntlets as they will dissipate. The energy used is variable in its power, allowing the constructs to be used as deadly weapons, or harmless wrenches. (Unless of course said wrenches are used to whack people over the head.)
Notable Information: These gauntlets are worn like regular arm guards, and while not in use, assumes a smaller size that fits well on the arms, and can be worn under a coat or jacket. When active, the gauntlets expand outward before clamping down on and around the user's arms and over any clothing that reaches that point.

Enchants / Abilities Firing Mechanism -- The gauntlets are equipped with two firing mechanisms. One that reacts to the user's punches, while the other is the good old trigger, hidden in the user's palms. Cocking the gauntlets can either be done though arm motion or by manually pulling back the sliding piece of the gauntlet.
Notable Information: These metallic gauntlets are worn like regular arm guards, and while not in use, assumes a smaller size that fits well on the arms, and can be worn under a coat or jacket. When active, the gauntlets expand outward before clamping down on and around the user's arms and over any clothing that reaches that point. They can then be loaded with a variety of ammunition. Each gauntlet can be loaded with 12 shots.

It would be an ability to have a ranged mechanic on a pair of gauntlet. The whole shotgun-inside-gauntlet thing, I mean.

Yes. Because they are still gauntlets, you have a firing mechanism inside gauntlets. You have a shotgun inside things you can still use effectively as a melee weapon.

Energy shield needs longer CD
promixity shield is a t5 ST skill and even then would be doing wayy to much
