The darkness within Marigold itched to be let free. That demon tore away at the inside of the queen, attempting to coerce her into making decisions she'd otherwise not make. There was only one way to sate the creature inside of her and that was to commit the horrid act of feeding. That was the moment Marigold ceased being the Mari she currently was. She donned the mask that was the scorn of mankind, the mask that allowed her to cope with the actions of slaughter and death. The woman's fangs slipped out and she licked them ever so seductively, as she walked into the portal behind Ophelia. Ysl'Dae and Schwartz remained unconscious, but that was only because of the amount of control Mari had over them. The queen would rather not let her subjects see her fall into such a relapse.

The queen was finally introduced to the realm of darkness. Much like hell, it was cold, dark and lonely. Despite knowing that her friends were there alongside her, the silver-haired woman knew that this was a place person could come back from unscathed. Fortunately for the three of them, they were people of war and darkness. They just came from a different scene of it. Nonetheless, Marigold looked curiously at the beady yellow eyes that occasionally popped up and just felt their intent. She tasted it almost. That didn't bother her, however, and she merely continued with the journey through darkness. Eventually they came through the darkness and the image of a small village revealed itself to the queen. Schwartz and Ysl made it through and just like how they entered, were still out for the count. They weren't to wake yet.

Marigold's heart raced and lust deepened. Her hands trembled and began to form into a claw-like manner. She grinned widely and revealed her fangs. The hunt was on and the Marigold that any knew had been killed momentarily, for this point in time alone. Even before Ophelia's beckon, she shot forth and ran down the closest person to her. A man, who seemed to have returned from tending the fields, covered in sweat and fear attempted to run when the silver-haired woman closed in on him. He wasn't quick enough, not by a long shot and was quickly pounced upon by Marigold. She rose a hand into the air, the crimson nails glistening with the man's horrified reflection on their shine. With a wicked grin, she came down upon his neck and shred it open to reveal the innards. Mari feasted upon him and started to eat away at his flesh while she sucked drank the blood in tandem. She devoured as much as she could on the man and had even shown that she was able to chew through bone with ease. The uproar caused by Ophelia after she summoned her scythe, only quickened the pace of Marigold's heart. Her predatory instincts took over and thus, when she was finished with the devouring of the man, she moved on to another victim.

[Ophelia]

Ophelia smiled wickedly as she saw the woman eagerly shoot pass her to hunt down her first prey. The Heartless Queen merely stood and watched with joy as the woman before tore flesh and bone apart in a bloody feast. The uproar grew louder as surrounding citizens watched, screaming with shock and horror as a friend- family of theirs was torn to bits like nothing, alive and screaming before Marigold would end him. It wasn't long before Mari would continue, moving onto her next prey. That was where Ophelia would join in, beginning with a casual walking pace, her eyes scanning for which pathetic human to take down first. The witch laid her eyes on that of a woman who matched her eyes with Ophelia's, the woman's eyes became even more filled with horror as the witch continued to stare her down.

There was but a flash of lightning and the Heartless Queen was right in front of the woman, the blade of her scythe already pierced through her as Ophelia lifted her up into the air. She stared at her prey, her head tilted like a cat before she'd end the woman's existence. Just as before, instead of dying in your typical fashion the woman's body disappeared, fading up into the air to present a heart floating above Graceful Dahlia's tip. It took but a small leap forward for the heartless to capture it by touching it with the tip of her finger, it disappeared just like that and was hers... or something like that. Beside her formed a shadow heartless, the dark reincarnation of the woman standing right next to her. It's yellow eyes darting with its head as it ran forward, attacking another human.

That was when more heartless appeared, at least five Invisible's rose from dark portals in the ground to fly forward, helping the two with the massacre. It was a beautiful chaotic scene as Ophelia stepped back only for a moment to see her heartless attacking human's taking their hearts to add to the army with Marigold alongside, bringing blood and tears to all of those who hadn't yet been attacked by the heartless.

[Marigold Darkson]

Marigold was upon her next prey in no time, this kill being a lot faster than the other. A precise and deadly hand struck forward into the back of a fleeing woman, who the queen had set her eyes on, after the man she had previously killed. Mari's hand struck into the woman's back and dug through with ease, like a hot knife through butter. She gripped onto her spine with one hand and pulled her back, so she could get her even closer. Another hand jabbed forward and came through, gripping another section of the woman's vertebrae. A fluid motion later, the same person was ripped in half and Marigold had begun to partake in her flesh. Once she was done, her predator's eyes started to scan around the area, looking for only the most terrified of villagers. Their meat tasted the best when their emotions ran high.

She felt the surge of power come forth when Ophelia joined the fray and noted that she had extracted the heart from a female and seemingly turned her into one of those small creatures from earlier. Her head tilted in curiosity, but her stomach growled with ferocity. A wicked grin appeared on her face and with her new allies, continued to hunt down more prey with them.

A couple was next on her list. She could feel their hearts pulsate with a rapid pace, the thought of them losing one another was so thick, it caused the queen to moan out in sheer ecstasy. Licking her lips, she pounced onto the husband, ripping a chunk of his shoulder out, before throwing one of her sickles through the knee of the wife when she tried to run away. Both of them were in pain and with sharp claws, she dug them deep into their bodies. The woman dragged them off behind some debris and a soon enough, a large pile of flesh and blood spread out across the ground and objects. Rich, thick, crimson-red liquid pooled and continued to spread outward, as Marigold continued her hunt. It had been a long, LONG time since she had tasted flesh and blood. She was going to get her fill...

[Ophelia]

A constant smile held itself behind the witch's mask. Her hair lightly floated within her dark aura, energy surging back and forth as her eyes darted around to see her allies seeking out victims and chaos. A malicious laugh erupted from the woman as two discs formed to each side of her as before. With no time to waste they were sent forward with immense speed, slicing through inanimate objects til eventually they sliced humans in half as they tried to run away. First there was blood, spurting out as much as possible before their bodies disappeared to reveal their hearts. The heartless queen bolted forward, touching them both just to simply collect each one. Like a fiend stuck in a den the heartless turned only her head, slowly to look around her at the chaos and numbers of people dropping like flies.

The massacre that Ophelia laid her eyes on brought more joy than ever and made her even more so curious. How far did Marigold have to go before she became even remotely "human" again. She was a monster and she knew that, but seeing her lash out as such compared to the way she spoke and acted before was beautiful. Something Ophelia was especially keen on, seeing people lose control over such bloody desires like she could see here. There was a flash of lightning and just like that, the heartless queen was there in an instant. Standing calmly and watching as Mari indulged in the feast and joy of such actions would keep the heartless queen smiling.

"I have to say Marigold, not many people surprise me these days... But you do."

Her tone was malevolent and calm as she stared at the woman. Vines whipped up from the ground all around them, impaling and tangling the few people left around the village, however instead of them dying and their hearts being taken they were still alive, squirming and screaming in pain begging to be released. The heartless disappeared, returning to the darkness after such a feast. There was a moment of no outside noise what so ever other than the screams of villagers around them. "If it were up to you, what would you have me do to these people?"

Marigold feasted on the bodies from her previous kill. The blood and flesh were delectable, with the bones only adding more flavor to the whole thing. When she was done with the bodies, she felt the stifling, overpowered presence that was the Heartless Queen. Marigold stood up, face and hands covered in blood, along with the clothing she wore. The woman faced the masked heartless and gave her a smirk of fulfillment. Mari took a long, lustful tongue and licked it all over her hands and cleaning the blood from them. She'd even gather all the blood that was left on her face and moved it into her mouth, using her hands. The Queen enjoyed herself thoroughly and managed to satisfy a hunger that ate away at her for a while.

"I must really thank you, Ophelia... I've been holding myself back, ignoring the blood that coursed through me. Thanks to you, I've been allowed a freedom that I think has been long since overdue..." A change came in the form of Marigold's voice, for it was different, ominous and deadly. Both of her eyes were a blood-red, as opposed to the red and gold that took form earlier. Ophelia would easily be able to tell that there was a different person talking to her. One that shared the same eloquence and speech patterns of Marigold, but was something else entirely.

When the feast had nearly come to an end, the woman was shown a choice. People impaled, tangled on vines had begun begging for their lives, to be released. To torture the woman on the inside, the demon who had control over Marigold's body for the moment, woke her and introduced her to the trapped animals. There was a brief struggle on the inside, but the demon spoke truth. These villagers, if let go, will either be hunted down and killed by Ophelia to begin with, or they'd simply run off and tell some form of higher power of what occurred there. Turning her attention to the Heartless Queen, a cruel smile appeared on Mari's lips.

"Kill them. They have no more friends or family, more than likely, so a life after a trauma like this is never guaranteed. They're pretty much dead people walking. Might as well kill them and be done with it... What do you think?" She asked the petite woman beside her, while she pulled out her second sickle. Her blades of execution, that she was going to use on the remaining victims. The woman thoroughly indulged herself on the pleas and cries from the trapped villagers, licking her lips as she wanted to taste that same sorrow in their flesh.

[Ophelia]

"I usually prefer to leave one left, just so they can remember and tell everyone else they meet of what's coming, but, we can do it your way today." The Heartless Queen's voice was strong and deep as the words trailed from her lips, her final vowel finishing with action. The witch pulled her scythe back, in unison with the remaining victims being thrown into the air by the vines, one powerful throw sent the Graceful Dahlia swinging forward to perfectly slice a man in half in mid air. Ophelia didn't spare a moment to carry on the massacre, a menacing laugh erupting as lightning flashed, the woman moving in instances too quick to comprehend. Whilst in mid air the heartless approached another woman, her hand shot forward piercing through any skin, flesh and bones to grab her literal heart and tear it out, blood spraying at the witch's full front, the white of her clothes now stained red.

That wasn't the end of it however, while all this had only taken a few seconds the heartless would show even more of her power. Her body dropped to the ground and she landed perfectly, the ground below her trembling with what was next to come. Portals of darkness formed all over the ground at random bursting out with large spikes that tore through the flesh of the human's that remained. First their blood sprawled all over the earth before their hearts would emerge like crystal gems, holy and sacred in their floating manner only to be pulled down into the darkness, consumed by Ophelia and her family. Once this sprawl was over the witch's laugh came to a still, petals fell from her hand as Graceful Dahlia appeared in her hand once more. She wasn't sure where Marigold had gotten to among all this and quite frankly had become too enthralled in the mix to bother looking around for her while attacking. However now her eyes scanned the area, searching for her fellow hunter with a glint of glee in her eyes.

She saw the woman's followers, still unconscious and healing as the massacre went on around them. Ophelia wondered what the two would think should they see their queen in this state. It was without a doubt they had seen more blood than this but to see this side of her even for the Heartless Queen was interesting. It was only then the heartless remembered Marigold thanking her for bringing this out, however what stuck was the way it was said, her eyes changing to completely red, the demon consuming that body like it was nothing after such a feast. The first version of the royal must have been fighting a lot to keep this at bay, but had she lost the fight for her body for good now? Or would she earn it back? A smile formed behind the mask once again, the Heartless Queen unsure of which one she liked better.

"That's too risky for what we want to do, though, in any other given situation that'd be a very glorious idea." The woman said with a large amount of mirth in her voice, almost as if she sang it. When Ophelia took off to do her thing, the Queen followed suit. She pulled back her sickle and jumped in the opposite direction of the Heartless Queen. Marigold's assault on the trapped villagers was agonizing and slow at best. She'd scale their bodies by digging the sickle deep within their flesh, followed by her long, sharp nails sinking in soon after. When she finally reached the person face to face, she'd stare deeply into their eyes, a wicked smile that only foretold death. Her fangs appeared and immediately she went to ripping away at the flesh around their neck and shoulder. Finally, when they died from blood loss, she'd decapitate them and jump off from their limp, dried, dead bodies.

The Queen had become stained with blood completely, soaked in it, as she continued to conclude the slaughter of the entire village. Her hunger had been sated quite nicely and she enjoyed the carnage and the stench of blood that pervaded the air around them. There would no doubt be a chilling quiet, that both Ophelia and Marigold would be able to enjoy. Honestly, both sides of the Ice Queen had fallen in love with the Heartless Queen. The actual Mari always had a thing for the regal, powerful sort of people, who always had a way with grace and beauty. The petite killer no doubt shared all those traits, so she easily appealed to the vampire in an instant. The demonic Marigold enjoyed the aura of death that surrounded her, secretly wanting to rip her way out and consume the darkness that was Ophelia.

Eventually, when the blood and dust settled, Marigold used the resting period to make a sudden come back. The two shared the body and mind, but the queen had enough of it all. She wanted back in and she was taking it regardless of the situation. When Ophelia sought out her hunting partner, she'd see her in the middle of a power struggle. Mari fought heavily on the inside, which caused her body on the outside to writhe and throb back and forth. She gripped her head and pulled at the locks of snow-white that were kissed with blood, beginning to scream out a shrill shriek that would send shivers down even the most hardened of adventurers. A voice mixed with both demonic and angelic tone rang out for a moment, before it all stopped. The woman panted, completely in control of her mind and body once more. Her inner monster being sealed away, for now. Her legs wobbled, but she stayed up, turning a slow and sharp gaze up towards the Heartless Queen...

"Dear me... Seems I got a little carried away, no?" Despite how ominous her eyes looked, which had now turned back to their gorgeous golden hue, the woman smirked confidently. Normally, one would feel utterly disgusted with what they had done should they have been in Marigold's shoes. However, she didn't feel a single shred of disgust and rather embraced the situation for what it was. A learning process. She learned that she needed to stop holding herself back and feed a lot often, so something like this wouldn't occur again. Though, one could argue that she had quite enjoyed herself along with the demon. Cutting loose for the first time in a year or so? Mari definitely thought that she had earned a bit of that, but knew it could only be for that one moment.

The woman straightened herself up and chuckled dryly. She lifted up her arms and looked at them, then stared down to the blood that covered her good clothes. Rolling her eyes and taking a big sigh, the Queen shook her head in shame.

"Looks like I'm a little too soaked too... Guess that's what happens when you let a girl stay repressed for so long." Even in her uncomfortable, blood covered state, she found a reason to make a joke. A cold chuckle left her lips again.

[Ophelia]

After a small moment the heartless found her partner, her eyes squinted as she watched Marigold undergo another power struggle within her own body. Not a flinch was made as the woman grabbed her hair and sent a shrilling scream throughout the forest, obscure tones of demons and angels released with it screeched in the witch's ears. She watched as the royal remained standing, her knees wobbling and her now golden eyes staring straight at Ophelia. Her voice was ominous as she spoke but it would seem that the -more- demonic side of her had been repressed again, the less violent side of her in control and making jokes of the matter. What she had said was true however, such a sprawl of violent and bloody rage of feeding in such a mass wouldn't be normal - if Marigold wanted to keep control all the time she'd have to let her demon show more often. However, either side of her that she let show, Ophelia didn't mind, they were equally chaotic in their own ways and the two together - well that was even better.

"You're fine." Ophelia chuckled - almost to herself as she looked down at her own blood soaked outfit. Though most of it didn't show to well on the black, her white flax cloak and mask outlined the glorious colour like a trophy. Ophelia moved her hand to her mask which was essentially dripping with blood and placed it on her mask, wiping away a lot of the blood and flicking it to the side. The Heartless Queen looked up at Marigold again, the dark holes in her mask ominous as they were before hiding her true expression. She let go of her scythe, letting it fall to the ground - only it disappeared before hitting the ground, petals replacing its place. "Bad girls can only stay good for so long can't they?" Ophelia laughed only thinking of the responsibility that Marigold might have to keep up. The way she spoke and presented herself only screamed out her goals to be powerful and feared in this universe, something Ophelia admired and saw potential in.

"There truly is nothing like the chaos of this massacre and to share it with a friend - well that's something special. I'm sure you know people like you and I don't come across people so very compatible as us." Ophelia said, reaching into her pocket to pull out a  pendant - fitting to the time of this world. She held it, presenting it to Marigold before clutching it tight in her hand. A deep purple glow emerged from her hand before she let go again. The typical 'queen's' head on the pendant had changed to that of a heartless symbol. A simple display of the magic of the Main Core of the Heartless world. At that moment six Neoshadow heartless appeared, surrounding the two and twitching in their hungry nature then disappeared again. "With this you can summon them and they will aid you. If you need my help just hold onto it and I'll be there but it will only work up to three times." Her tone was serious and she stared up at the tall woman, the pendant in her hand becoming dirty with the blood of their victims. "Trust me, women like us gain a lot of enemies a lot quicker than allies."

PLOT ITEM:

[Marigold Darkson]

"I must thank you for excusing my mess. I'm usually so much more cleaner than this, however, I suppose since it's fine with you, I can forgive myself as well." The woman chuckled and turned her gaze upon the mask that Ophelia wore, the deliciously blood stained mask. From what Marigold could tell from this encounter, she figured that both she and the Heartless Queen had connected quite well with one another. Interestingly enough, they shared a lot more in common with each other than what Mari had first figured. A smile touched upon her lips and she was quite glad that they were able to have a meeting such as this. It was fruitful, filled with a lot of stress relief and unlocking of... Dormant energies. The Queen showed this off, when the blood that coated her clothing and body slowly crawled their way out of the fabric and off the skin respectively. The crimson liquid made its way to her mouth and she drank down every last drop. Marigold was completely clean after that. "That is very true, Lady Ophelia... Feels good to be a bad girl after all I've had to give, in order to be good. I will not lie and say that it didn't feel good, to feast like a proper queen." She said with a sinister smile.

There was the realization that if there were people like Ophelia out there in the rest of the worlds, then her plans for unifying all worlds under her banner was going to be quite the task. Alliances would need to be made, people recruited and enemies vanquished. She consulted the inner demon within, letting the creature know that they'll more than likely meet their end at one of these powerful beings and that she should be prepared for it. The demon merely scoffed at her and simply warned her of the looming threat, that the strange power that this new universe presented to her, would eventually free her from the shell that contained her. Marigold, of course, paid no mind to the thing's words and kept her attention upon the masked girl, who presented them an item. A pendant of some sorts.

Marigold raised an eyebrow at the object that was held out to her. The woman's initial reaction was to reach out for it, but she refrained after she noticed Ophelia closed her hand around her. Magic exuded from the limb for a moment, to reveal that the face had been changed to an emblem of sorts. Similar to the one's that the green heartless from before wore on their bodies. A most curious act, but the petite woman spared no time in explaining on how the accessory worked. According to her, Marigold would be able to summon up to six of those curious creatures, while also being able to call upon the Queen of Heartless herself, for a total of three times. Definitely a magical and helpful item indeed. Now, when it was time for the woman to take it, Mari outstretched a gentle hand and took the bloodstained pendant. A smile came to her lips, as she loved the present quite a bit. The Queen placed the pendant around her neck and ignored the bit of blood that got on her.

"My, my, now this is a rather nice gift, Ophelia. I love it." She said with a warm, genuine smile towards the masked woman. Her words rang true, people like she and the Heartless Queen were definitely hard to come by, meaning that a meeting like this was either destined, or a good twist of faith. "Given how well this went, we should definitely do it again whenever I get... Stressed. After all, if what you said is true, I'm sure there will be plenty of enemies to vent said stress out on, if and when it comes down to that point." Marigold said with an ominous laugh and thought of the many people who might try to oppose her later down the line. They'd be pacified and crucified by her blades... Help from her new friend would be very welcomed as well, seeing as she finally found someone who shared in her unique tastes for cutting loose. A cruel smile touched her lips and she looked from the pendant that she held up with a finger, into the pitch-black eyes of Ophelia's mask "Well now, shall I offer you a ride anywhere, Lady Ophelia? I know you travel via your portals, but I will extend the courtesy nonetheless. After all, it's the least I can do after receiving such a gorgeous piece of jewelry."

[Ophelia]

Ophelia watched with joy as Marigold absorbed the blood from her clothes and drank it down in a rather large gulp, to which the Heartless Queen found quite impressive. Accepting Ophelia's gift the woman placed the pendant around her neck, the whole heartless thing suited her the more the witch thought about it, however she didn't let her mind wander too far as it was a thought for a later date. Quite simply the heartless nodded in agreement as Marigold spoke, she didn't have much more to say that had already been said and on that note it seemed time for the pair to split their ways.

The woman before her offered a ride to Ophelia out of sheer courtesy even though she knew the Heartless Queen had much easier means of travel, a kind gesture none the less. "It's quite alright Marigold, I prefer to travel through portals since they're simply quicker." She paused, extending her hand. "However it was a pleasure to meet you, feel free to come by the End of The World at any time, the heartless will show you the way to my castle." With that said the witch would shake the woman's hand if it were accepted. A portal formed behind the heartless as she said her last words, "see you around" and she turned, entering the portal and exiting this world.

Marigold leaned over a bit and accepted the necklace with honor. She took a finger and went over the material the pendant was made out of. A smile grace her lips and she returned her gaze over to the Heartless Queen. It was after this, that they had to split, but from the way the two interacted with one another today, something told the silver-haired woman that this wouldn't be the last time she'd see of Ophelia. Definitely not by a long shot. This notion was furthered when given a personal invite to the world an castle the petite woman dwelt. End of the World. She'd remember that.

"I bid you farewell, Lady Ophelia. May we raise hell again real soon." She stifled a laugh and watched as the fellow queen portaled out of the area. With that, a heavy sigh came from Marigold's lips and the woman knew that she still had to get her clothes clean. But before that, she went to go retrieve her companions and arouse them from their unconscious state. Once that was all said and done, the trio returned to their ship and flew off from the planet.
