To Turn Back Time (Open)
Ah Halloween. A time when everyone could enjoy a good scare to spice up the boring every day life. Because of the way this town was, you'd expect it to be lead by something like a really tall, singing skeleton. But, this was not the case..the new, recently chosen World Leader, Tyler Saikou, was the one in charge of Halloween Town, and the other holiday based worlds. And, to celebrate, the people of Halloween Town voted on throwing a coronation party for the New Pumpkin King. This was something he very reluctantly agreed to..but he had hope. As he sat on the stairs leading up to the laboratory, flame like horns burning on his head, and a tail swishing through the air subconsciously, blue flames crackling on the end of it as he rested his head on his hand, which was propped up by its elbow on the stair he was sitting on. He was watching the townspeople get the finishing touches done for his Halloween party. But...quite a bit felt off To Tyler. For one, he no longer could manipulate the winds, so, even if the woman he was hoping would show up today did..he couldn't impress her by dancing with her through the skies. As he brooded about how he was to impress her, guests started to arrive one by one, and the townsfolk started scurrying around trying to find him. It was time, but he was too wrapped up in his own thoughts to realize this.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Social Events... Sure, the cult escapee has been to parties only the Meadows has thrown but a real party with different kinds of people was something the blossoming teenager had to think about. The parties she has been to had the same lily white people with little to no diversity and they were bland, boring, and had little to no personalities but the food was great.
The party was fun, and she had gotten an invitation to it for some unknown reason whatsoever. Right now, she was in a conversation with a few of the acquaintances she had just met, it wasn't that she liked them but she stayed in their circle just so she wouldn't be alone. When they had questioned the armor she was wearing she had told them that she was a warrior, they narrowed their eyes in distaste of her lack of creativity but let her join their conversation anyway. She was confused as to how someone would even think about a young girl who had a low rank in the Castle of Dreams militia, there was nothing special about her her. She tapped her fingertips against the glass bottle she was holding, So why was she here? Sure she had met interesting people but she didn't belong there.. She wasn't perky nor interesting..
With insecure thoughts creeping into her head, she decided to leave the party. It was a nice party for only interesting people, she would keep the punch though. With a bottle of punch in her hand she nodded to the acquaintances she was in a conversation with and walked out of Townsquare only to be in a somewhat vacant area, a man or a boy was sitting on the steps of a building as if he was in deep thought. She had decided that she should inquire him about how to leave the world and just go home, since he looked like he belonged their with the horns on his head and the swishing tail that added more detail to the costume. Kia would look much more human if she stood by the boy, with her flowing long messy blonde hair that went past her shoulders, and the armor she was wearing. Despite the long hair, she was just average looking, not pretty, nor stunningly beautiful but just average...
Leave me alone, thoughts... The cult escapee had finally shut her thoughts out and approached the boy, maybe she could stay for awhile and talk to him before leaving, "Hey, why aren't you enjoying the party?" She inquired, once she was close to him. The girl decided to sit down next to him, but just really far away so she could give him his space. "I'm not one to judge people, but I'm guessing you're not a people person?" She would cup her hands over the glass bottle and looked over to him, giving him an earnest smile as if to tell him to tell her everything. She doesn't know why, but she was always interested in the quiet type people who had dark pasts and mediocre cold personas, she would wait for the boy to reply.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Because of how deep in thought Tyler was, he had no idea that the woman he considered his guest of honor had arrived until she had addressed him. The shock made him blink, the horn like flames, pointed ears, and tail vanishing for just long enough for the woman to notice before they came back. When she asked him if he just wasn't a people person after she sat down next to him, Tyler simply smiled and nodded. It's strange...I don't like being around too many people, but the people living here want me to lead them. That's what this party is for...Coronation of the new Pumpkin King. Not that I care all that much about celebration though.
He said as he picked up a pebble and gently tossed it..but even so, it launched in a line, bouncing off of the wall at the far end of the town square. He chuckled softly to himself as the appearance that he had taken on as the pumpkin king willingly faded. He then looked to Kia and smiled. Even so..I'm glad that you made it. He said with a smile as he held his hand out to her. But, I'm being rude, aren't I? I'm Tyler Saikou, the new Face of Halloween, and the reason you got an invitation. I was the announcer for the contest you should have won. He said with a knowing chuckle and a shake of his head. It was kind of ridiculous.
This town was the world he had control of now..but it was also where the clock had turned him back to. He wanted a chance to redo everything, but to do it right this time. If that meant doing things differently, then so be it. But..he wanted to do this much over. It was one of his best, and favorite memories. The day he first met Kia Mason. The woman he loved. He was trying his best to phone it in..but he couldn't help smiling around her. It was crazy. She looked more and more beautiful every time he saw her. He remembered every change to her appearance..and right now, she looked stunning. Even if others would have seen her as average, he thought she was beautiful. But, he couldn't let too much of his excitement over meeting her get too much into the open. It was frustrating, but it was how things had to work.
That didn't mean he had to like how things had to work though, and he very much didn't. But, he was too happy that he had actually tracked her down and successfully reset the board with another Halloween party. This was hopefully going to be more successful than the original, which was already extremely successful the first time around. However, this time, everyone who got a party favor got them straight from Christmas Town. He had kept her's with him however. It was a..special gift. That was something that he had taken himself from the old world. It was a ring, with a diamond and sapphires on it. It contained not a memory..but a feeling. It was something he had enchanted himself.

What. Kia blinked at least eight times, she thought the supposed announcer was named Takeshi. He either changed his name, or maybe Takeshi was a nickname or something, but his whole appearance changed and dayum, he was FINE. "Please have my babies!" She accidentally slipped out before covering her mouth with both hands, flushing crimison with embarrassment. The outburst was so random, yes he was very good looking but he was a stranger! Plus, the way he talked to her was as if she was his lover or his beloved wife and she never actually had a love interest before, in romantic novels guys always talked so smoothly to the females they adored, it was cute but slightly sickening.
The cult escapee moved her hands away from her mouth and nervously smiled at the boy who introduced himself az Tyler Saikou, the new Pumpkin King. He had canine teeth and elf ears, which was totally aturn on strange thing to see on a teenage boy. "I mean, the pleasure is all mine. I'm Kia," She would say with a small nod as if she didn't burst out anything as laughingly bad or stupid just earlier.
She decided to scoot just a little closer to the new Pumpkin King, her hands gripped tightly around the glass bottle she was holding as if she was a little nervous around him. "And well, Mr. Psycho, it's your coronation so you should definitely be there... Wait, why is your last name Psycho?"

When she blurted out for him to have her babies, Tyler couldn't help but grin. Oh, if only she knew...when she blushed crimson, Tyler simply smiled at her and patted her back softly. Maybe, if you can play your cards right. He said, mentally feeling horrified. The original had found its way up to this moment. He only had to say that...but it was kinda funny. He just chuckled softly and continued to pat her back, the flames becoming a bit brighter as scales started to cover parts of his cheeks, and his canine teeth became sharper. It's not Psycho. That's prounounced "Ps-Y-Cho". My last name is Saikou. S-A-I-K-O-U. "Sai-Ch-o." It means "The Best". He said as he rose to his feet. But you do have a point..its my coronation, I should be there...but, if its not too much trouble...could you please come with me? It'd be easier to deal with this whole shenanigan if I had someone to make it more bearable. And, if you do come..people are going to be calling me "Jack". It's an honorific title really, just wanted to make sure you knew. He said as he descended the stairs.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Kia quickly followed him downstairs, his appearance changed back to the Halloween costume and Kia was disappointed. As her feet landed on the gravel, she ran up mext to him so she could be by his side, he was taller than her so that was an ultimate plus, She didn't really know what to say to Tyler so she followed him back to the party...

Halloween Town. The town of walking nightmares and infinite horrors. Yet not as one would conventionally expect. Sure on the surface the scary and the spooky held claim to the namesake. Yet if one stepped into it's darkened streets long enough to experience the atmosphere. It became a journey for the ages. Spectacular sights and sounds with memories that were worth a lifetime. The same was true on this particular evening, if not more so. As the dawn of a new stage was upon the wee town of all hollows eve. Yes, on this very night was the introduction of a brand new figure to guide the people. A person who though his title suggested something more sinister. In reality became the very hope of the world and the creatures there within. They would all look to him for their beck and call. Pray the gods they were ready for the responsibility that was being set upon their shoulders. As clock was ticking to make things official on this, the eve of their coronation as the next Pumpkin King.
From around the universe a multitude of figureheads gathered in the town square. A mix of monsters and monarchs, friends and acquaintances, as well what seemed like almost the entire populace of the town came to mingle. Food and drink in hand. Music and dancing enticing the adventurous and the bold. While conversation preoccupied the more conservative. All of this just tide until the true festivities would begin. Anyone who was anyone was here ready to welcome another to the power of the throne.
From the depths of a barren forest located on the outskirts of town. A shift in reality start to take form. The environment warping around an intangible swirl as a tear gave way. This tear opening a foreign portal which would release a trickle of pixelated information as well as a foot belonging to someone from within. A step forward revealed a woman. Hair as dark as coal and eyes of emeralds, her clothing a mere science get up. When her eyes met the familiar terrain a sigh escaped her lips. "The coordinates were a little off it seems." She would complain to herself as the portal that had brought her there slowly closed shut and disappeared all together. Not a stranger to the land she gave a shake of her head and proceeded forwards along a gravel path. She knew if she followed it, she would get to where she needed to be.
During some point along the traverse she was stopped mid step. Taken by the sudden sound of tearing fabric. Her eyes looked from side to side until she noticed an odd sensation. The feeling of a cold wind hitting the flesh of her feet. Odd considering she was wearing shoes. Immediately her eyes darted down towards her toes where she realized her shoes had been torn away completely. In return, revealing two massively large canine paws in place of human feet. A roll of the eyes and another sigh. Of course, how could she have forgotten. The laws of the world which dictated appearances and anatomy. As memory served she knew what was coming next and immediately proceeded to take off her lab coat. The two shirts she wore underneath came next and as for her pants well, fur could only cover so much.
All clothes were removed and thrown to the ground. Her pants being the only thing that remained afterwards. One she was certain that everything was appropriate. She stood still for a moment or two longer as the rest of her body underwent the appropriate changes. Flesh replaced with fur as dark as the night itself. Her hair becoming longer and more wild in design as it connected to a mane down along her spine. The crimson color it originally was being replaced with a vibrant silver sheen. From the back slowly formed a tail of lengthy measure. At the end a crimson patch of fur sprouted forth. Hands followed suit and were soon replaced with paws that were outfitted with abnormally sharp claws. All the features that suggested werewolf set into place. With sharp fangs and an odd set of narrow but long horns being the last to take form. True be told, it felt weird to take on such a transformation after all the long years away and yet at the very same time downright exciting.
Taking a deep breathe in Axis looked down to check her pants. Just as expected they had made it through the change but at the price of being ripped and torn in places to make room for the mass in her legs. At least the bits were still covered. There wasn't as much as a worry where her chest was concerned. As the tuff of fur that covered it was more than acceptable to keep her decent. Not that it matter here really but still she took some care. Slitted eyes produced a eerie glow as a wide smile crossed her new crimson muzzle. Cautiously she took a step forward to test the paws. When she was certain she had it she continued down the path towards town square. Invitation in claw and ready to enjoy herself for the first time in what seemed like forever.

As the new pumpkin king and his guest descended the stairs, several of the citizens turned around, seeing him just in time to start the music. And it was quite eerie, though it was the anthem of the world, so none protested, even those from the various other holiday worlds.
Boys and girls of every age, Wouldn't you like to see something strange? Come with us and you will see, this our town of Halloween! The first line was sung as the two most important parties reached the halfway mark of the stairs, causing Tyler to wink at Kia before taking a breath and plastering on a false smile, waving as he pretended to trip, bending his body to contort in ways that made it clear that he was very acrobatic, and fully in control of what he was doing. As he fell, the demonic features became much more apparent, a pair of black, tattered wings now gracing his back, slits appropriated in the back of the jacket to allow for such things to exist in this world, scales becoming much more apparent, and his teeth and ears becoming larger and tapering to bigger points. As he finally reached the bottom of the stairs, he rose up, fully demonic in appearance. The townsfolk were still singing their song, singing until he walked up to a podium built out of a pumpkin, with room for..two extra people to sit...it seemed that he had planned this particularly well.
Directly next to him, a seat for the woman he loved, covered by the podium, but high enough up from the ground to allow her to look out at everyone. Slightly behind them, a seat for the new guest. Two of the people that he knew existed in this universe. He invited them both, each for different reasons. Kia, because he wanted to kindle a romance that ended terribly, and make it end properly, in which case, it wouldn't end. As Kia was ushered into her seat quickly, he smiled once more, taking on his human form again as the other guest would likely end up in the town square, whom would also be ushered into her seat atop the podium. He was supposed to make a speech now. As his hands rose, everyone in the crowd stopped singing. The whole courtyard was deathly silent now...it was going to be interesting to see what his speech was going to be.

All of a sudden, Kia was ushered on stage alongside the Pumpkin King who had just turned into a demonic thing... What exactly was this dreamy boy? Well, it didn't matter to her, he was still hot regardless. Suddenly, a cat headbutted her in the bum to sit in her seat, "Hey, watch the butt!" She warned the cat as she blew her bangs and sat in the chair next to the podium. Thankfully, she said that when the citizens were still singing but it could've been heard by a few ears.
The teenage girl sat down on the chair giving the crowd a fake confident smile, she had no clue why hot teenage demon, Pumpkin King, human, horny head boy had invited her upstairs with him. Her blue eyes scanned the crowd carefully as she crossed one leg over the other, there seemed to be other pretty teenage girls that gave her mean glares because she was sitting right next to the new Pumpkin hot guy King. The glares made her slightly cringe and tear her eyes away from the girls and focused on staring at a nearby stone wall, waiting for Tyler to hurry up and say something.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Just as paws would touch down against the cold but all too satisfying cobblestone of the town's central square. Something in the distance caught the were-woman's attention. A melody on the midnight breeze that started in low and with each step closer continued to grow. All to the point where eventually it was the only thing her alert ears could register as they twitched in direction of the source. Round a corner and a couple more steps, a grandeur crowd of impressive attendance was revealed. Now this was a turn out. Rightfully so considering how important this moment was. Sure leaders came and went over the decades but lately the influx of new blood had been crucial. As they were a sign of hope that nothing would keep the worlds from being protected. Agreed, this generation was showing signs of importance beyond the years. For their dedication to the cause against one cynical mass murdered. Brave, ambitious, and loyal. These kids had a long way to go but they were off to a noble start.
Even though she had been brought here on invitation of the Pumpkin King himself. Which had been both gratifying and a little unexpected. Axis had other reasons to attend this evening's festivities as well. Word of new leaders spread fast when one lived inside a world of information as she did. What took some weeks, took her systems only a matter of days under the right circumstances. Oh the privileges of not always having to leave home for the latest. Although that didn't stop her from pursuing the outside worlds any less. People to meet, adventures to take, sights still to see. Sure there was work to done but all work and no play could make one a rather dull spirit. Gods forbid she should ever let herself become so low.
In a brink of expanding excitement her glowing eyes looked over the sea of people gathered in the square. All the hustle in bustle only making her smile wider as her tail began to sway from side to side in response. With such animalistic traits it would be hard to mask her true feelings of the situation and yet it didn't matter. For really, what did she have to hide right now. It was celebration time and all were in good spirits. So should she be by that logic. Judgement from the singing alone she could make an accurate guess that it was almost time to introduce the newbie. A sign that she was on the verge of being late. Not good. Her eyes would keep scanning the area until they came across a stage. On it a couple were seen together, one man and one woman. Both rather young in appearance. Probably wouldn't be too far a guess that she needed to be up there as well. Making sure not to waste time as a late arrival would be nothing but rude. Axis lightly pushed her way along the crowd until she reached a set of stairs.
Up she climbed, anxious to meet the new King in person. The description received on the Grid's news feed had made him sound very familiar. As if to say she had heard of or seen the man before. A realization she took in serious thought as there had been no shortage of familiar faces crossing her path lately. Sparing a thought to Len who she had met back at home Axis stepped up onto the stage. Where she was finally face to face with the couple as well as the large crowd below. Sure enough as she looked upon the kids Axis couldn't help but feel a sense of warm casualty around them. Like they were already friends to some degree. Odd, perhaps she had met the likes of them before. Again the guessing game would begin as it had with Len in Radiant Garden. A struggle to remember those who might of been close to her at one point.
"Forgive me if I'm late. Traveling between worlds has been a little screwy lately." Axis displayed a rather friendly disposition as she approached the two. Doing her best to also provide a sense of mannerism if she could manage it. Her head would sink a little in the gesture of a bow before resuming. "I was gratuitous to receive your invitation young King. I could not wait to meet you in person. However, that aside, it seems I've kept you waiting long enough. So perhaps conversations are in order after your speech." Out of the corner of her eye Axis took notice of the last remaining chair behind the podium and made an educated guess that it was more than likely for her bottom. Taking a seat at last she waited for the King to begin. Doing well to keep attentive to every word he had to say.

As his other Guest spoke, Tyler simply smiled softly and nodded. And, when she finally sat down, Tyler began his speech.
Witches and Ghouls, Ghosts and Goblins, Elves and Reindeer, Leprechauns and Cherubs. Pilgrims and Indians, Rabbits and Hares, Colonists and Villagers. We have gathered here today for two reasons. The first, to mourn the death of a good man, your previous leader. And, as such, we have all spent the past few days mourning him. However..it is time to move on. His reign of horror has ended, he has hung up the mask of Halloween, permanently. It is now the dawning of a new time. A time not of pure horror, or wonder. But a time of unity. Separate, our respective towns, villages, cities, and estates are of a respectable power..but together, we make a single, powerful entity. All the respective sovereigns of each of our homes has understood this simple fact..but none have held the desire to unify our world. I wish to change this. I do not blame any of you, in any of the holiday worlds, for what happened to Jack. Nor do I wish to make things seem like this. I truly regret the fate of Halloween's Champion..but we cannot linger on his fate any longer.
He said as he stared out at every single person in the group, all of whom were staring at him. Normally, he wouldn't be good at this kind of thing...but he had matured very much in the time that he had been in this universe. He smiled at the crowd as they remained silent, all of their attention paid to him. He smiled as a faint aura of flame surrounded his body. The face of Halloween has Changed. Goodnight, Jack Skellington, Pumpkin King. Your gift for terror will dearly be missed... He said as a orb of darkness appeared in the sky, taking on the form of his Storm Rider heartless. However, it simply floated above them, giving off a tame aura. However, it is time to pass the torch. Jack Skellington, your time is gone. Now it is time for my rule. So, with this. I bid you all a Happy Halloween, a Merry Christmas, a Happy Easter, a Jovial Saint Patrick's Day, a Patriotic Independence Day, a sweet Valentine's Day, and a Happy Thanksgiving. Now, let's dance! He said as his storm rider roared, cymbal feet clapping together as he carpet bombed the entire crowd with black, orange, brown, red, white, blue, pink, purple, green, and yellow confetti before disappearing, causing the entire crowd to erupt in cheering as music started playing through the various speakers, the attention off all of them, and the smile on his face turning into a nerve wracked one. That was the most terrifying thing he had done in quite some time.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Kia's face fell when she heard that the previous leader had passed away... By what exactly? The girl was itching to ask this question but decided to let Tyler finish his speech. To be honset, the teenage girl expected the speech to be very bland but the boy composed himself well and spoke in a articulate way, je sounded a bit pretentious to her because she wasn't all that bright but he sounded very intelligent.
During the speech, a monster appeared in the sky. The girl dressed as a knight let out a small shriek and almost fell out of her chair but managed to stay balanced by planting her feet firmly onto the ground, waiting for the chair to stop wobbling. She placed her open palms on the ridges of the chair, looking up at the monster while shaking in fear. She has seen monsters like this on the streets of the Castle of Dreams before taking up guard duty, when she sees them she usually runs back home locking the doors and windows waiting for Abigail to come home. Some of them came in special edition different colors! And plushies too! She chuckled a little and released the heavy grip from the ridges, light hearted humor always calmed her down when she was afraid or uncomfortable. As she waited for the thing to go away, it released some kind of aura, the crowd wasn't scared like she was but was regarding the monster with happiness and content. She turned to the new Pumpkin King and scowled.
That was his'!? The teenage boy had so many surprises up his cheeky sleeve, she glowered as he finished his speech. As the crowd applaused, she did a small slow clap still scowling at him. Who was this guy? Bringing a heartless to a coronation, she thought he was cute but even cute guys can be douchebags. Soon, that thing would divide in numbers, putting everyone in danger! As soon as the music started, she turned around to the werewolf from earlier, maybe she knew the new Pumpkin King but that didn't matter right now, "Hiya, my name is Kia!" She said in an upbeat manner, she stood up and looked down at the werewolf, "Would you like to dance with me?" She gave the female? An earnest smile, this irresponsible mayor wasn't getting no dance from her... From scary demon forms and summoning heartless, she needed to fet her mind off of him, so dancing with someone else was a good plan in her head.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Quite the speech. For a young man Tyler spoke with the clarity and affirmation of a seasoned diplomat. Impressive considering that a portion of his words were a front to come off strong in his ideals. Even with that in mind, some of his words held depth with their truth. The time to mourn was past and if the town had any hope of thriving towards a desirable future. Then they had to accept the change and work to maintain it into the days to come. He would do well to also remember that himself going into the role of leader. As the speech came to a close in a sudden display of visuals and brightly colored confetti. Axis rose to her feet in applause as to join in with the roar of the crowd. Though it seemed not everyone had been as enthused by the boy's choice of entertainment.
Off to the side his female companion showed a clear distaste for the creature in the sky. Understandable considering the nature of it's brother and sister lookalikes found in the wilds. When kept untamed they had a nasty habit of causing unspeakable madness and terror in a world. Savagely slaughtering the innocents in order to satiate their infectious hungry. However in this case all seemed maintained. The creature itself not suggesting any hostile aggressions upon the town or the people within. Well, for the moment anyway. Hopefully he could keep his pet from making chew toys of his home.
Axis spared a thought of consideration towards the girl for a second or two. Wondering if it would alright to assure her that everything would be okay. Then again, the atmosphere about her spoke as if not to be bothered by anyone. Fair enough. Some people just needed their space. Oddly enough, that theory was dashed the moment Axis went to approach Tyler to congratulate him. Within the instance of taking a step from her chair Kia approached Axis directly, bringing with her an offer to dance. Admittedly taken back by such a sudden offer Axis was unsure of how to proceed. From across the way she glanced up at the Pumpkin King with a look of slight confusion. The last thing she wanted to do was step on his toes by dancing with his date. Yet at the same time it would be rude to outright deny a lady to dance. Decisions, decisions. Back and forth did the wolf look between the two before conceding.
"My dear lady. The pleasure would be mine. Please, call me Axis." Axis responded, her stance becoming more firm and proper. She would do her best to act upon the grace of a gentlewoman. If this girl was already disturbed by the events thus far. Then there was no reason to stir such feelings to further extents. Offering her arm to Kia to hold Axis waited to escort her to the dance floor. With any luck she could convince the young knight to return to the King at a later time. As there were clearly some things the two needed to get off their chests. This left Axis in a position to delegate until then.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
As his two guests went dancing off with one another, Tyler's nervous smile faded fully. He now had no expression whatsoever to be noted of, but there was some kind of feeling of anger just surrounding..and even his body language sent conflicting messages. On the one hand, he had a fist clenched, almost as if he wanted to hit someone, or something. But, on the other, the rest of his body was relaxed, as if he didn't care. That was the inherent duality within him. One the one hand, a very overprotective boyfriend who saw his friend as competition at the moment, and on the other, a carefully constructed veneer of calm. As all attention was finally, mercifully drawn away from him and his prepared speech, of which he only understood half of the words, but understood the general message, he walked down from the podium, weaving through the crowd to take his place at the top of the stairs leading into the lab.
He wanted nothing more than to storm down there and earn back Kia's attention, because this whole deal was just a front to restart their first meeting..it was the reason he'd searched so frantically to find any mention of her. But, this version of her, the true version, was clearly different from the one he knew...he had to change how he thought..he had to be better than he was before. But..that was clearly not going to happen tonight. He was ready to give up on the night. He had set up shop in the mansion that belonged to Jack..he could just retire there for the night..forgo all of his plans...
No.
That simple word echoed through his mind, as his body rose of its own accord. Oh god..not this again... he thought as he started walking down the durable stone steps, strangely light footed. Things were going to most definitely get interesting in a few moments, once he found Kia and Axis. As he walked into the crowd, people would part for him, and he always caught mere glimpses of a group of people that looked just enough like the two of them to make him give chase, only to find out that they were not them. He was frantically, yet calmly searching. He would find them soon enough. He just had to keep looking. And keep looking he would, The newest version wouldn't look for her if she was angry or otherwise uninterested in him, not at this early a stage in this version of the worlds..but the oldest would. The oldest, and all the older versions, would go to the ends of the universe for her. So, searching a crowd to make him apologize was child's play. It would take much more than that to dishearten them.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Kia smiled and carefully wrapped her arm around Axis's, so she was female? The blonde glanced at Tyler and smirked, This was going to be fun... "No, no, the pleasure is all mine~!" She exclaimed before trying to pull Axis forward on the dance floor. If Axis would oblige, the teenager would pull them in the middle of the dance floor, as if trying to get the Pumpkin King's attention....
Wait, what? Why was she trying to get his attention when she was mad at him earlier? The cult escapee didn't know how to answer her own silly questions, she didn't like him but she loved him! She wasn't in love with the personality because so far he hasn't exchanged one during their conversation, maybe he did show his personality but she was more concerned about how his canine teeth showed when he smiled, how his messy raven hair fell in front of his gorgeus blue eyes whenever he talked, how tall he was... Godammit, he was delicious.. And Kia was obviously shallow.
Kia sighed and blew her bangs, but he was an idiot! So, she MUST get her mind off of him. The slow song that was previously playing turned into some kind of techno song and couples started breaking away from each other and started dancing strangely. The blonde had never seen this kind of dancing before, some people were pumpfing the closed fists in the air while others just obscenely grinded on each other. The teenage girl grinned and pumped her fist in the air, trying to copy the other dancers since they knew what they were doing. She put her arms in the air and swung her hips dancing to the beat.
"So, Axis you say?" The girl turned around to face the wolf, they were practically the same height so Kia didn't have to crane her neck to look up at her. "How do you know Tyler Saikou?"

Before the King would take his chance to run and hide. Axis made one last moment of eye contact with him. Silently mouthing the words "I will bring her back to you." under her breathe. Just from way his smile faded all too quickly she could tell that he was rather disappointed with the situation and rightfully so. This was a woman he clearly harbored strong feelings for. If she were in the same shoes one could only imagine the amount of aggravation that would be boiling under the surface. Just waiting for a reason to be released upon the parties involved with the problem. All the more reason to get her back to him in due time. Until then, she hoped her words would be enough to keep him optimistic about the situation.
With Kia in arm Axis led her down from the stage. Watching as Tyler stormed away to blend in with the crowd. Ah young love. Such a perilous journey to take in life. Thank the gods she was done with it herself. Then again, her husband wasn't necessarily always the most reliable either. However, this wasn't about smoothing her own relationships but rather saving another's from some minor mistakes. Back on the streets where couples and groups in abundance were doing their best to enjoy the evening. The music would change from a soothing slowness to that of an energetic techno beat. A genre to which Axis was slightly accustomed as it was often a common form of entertainment in the digital realms.
Kia clearly wasted no time in jumping straight into the fun. This merely made Axis smirk in amusement. Either she was a tough girl to keep annoyed or she was doing her best to try and ignore what had happened. Axis followed after in suit, hips starting to sway in rhythm and head bobbing in time with the beat. It was relaxing to say the least. To be able to just take time to enjoy herself. In the company of good people no less. Such a luxury Axis couldn't always afford to engage back at home. To no surprise Kia began to converse. The first words being a question about the King. Perfect, she was still focused on him. An advantage that could be used to point the girl back to her man.
Axis was about to say something when she heard the King's full name spoken. Tyler Sai-kou... Though her body kept moving her body froze for a second. As if to ponder the name further. Then it hit her like a person ramming straight into a brick wall. Tyler Saikou. Kia. These kids, those names. A memory or two a happy couple with two children immediately passed through. No wonder both were so familiar. She did know them but how they were here in this time and place. That was the kicker. Doing best to act as if nothing had struck a chord. Axis remained friendly and positive. Responding as best she could while heeding personal caution with with her words. Making sure to do so for quite a few reasons.
"The king is a friend of mine. You could almost say we go back a ways." Axis would do her best to speak over the volume of the music as she continued. "Funny. You remind me of someone I used to know at one point." As the beat would grow in intensity, the wolf's movements would grow more fluid and precise. As if to coordinate a bit of a show worthy performance. "You know he meant no disrespect with his performance. Truly, he just got caught up in the moment. He's a nice guy when you take the time to know him." Now was the time to keep Kia on her toes. Keep her mind from straying too far away from Tyler and entice her that he was worthy of the attention.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Despite normally having sharp enough vision to catch little things like the mouthing of words, Tyler had yet to master the art of reading lips..he was very much terrible at it. So, even though Axis had promised to bring her back, he was not sure, because he didn't understand what she had mouthed. It was why he had first gone off to the stairs. However, the more he wandered the crowd, the more he kept missing the actual Axis and Kia, the more he calmed down. However, by the time he had fully calmed down...he was in the center of the dance floor.
God...why did he always get stuck in this kind of situation..? There was an eye of the dancing storm, and he had found it. The problem was getting out of the eye..there were so many dancers, and there was barely enough room for him to move within the eye. He sighed and brought his left palm, which didn't have the bottle he had apparently grabbed up to his face as the song changed to a slower one, and an actual singer started up. This made his eyes widen..he couldn't let her do a slow dance with anyone else..that was what had made her fall for him in the first place...This galvanized his will to find her before something bad happened.
This left him only one option...dance through the crowd. And god damn was he terrible at dancing. Even though the song had slowed down, the grinders and fist pumpers only made room for the slow dancers. So, he took a deep, calming breath..and proceeded to use a combination of fluid swaying of his hips, sliding of his legs, and twisting of his upper body to make his way through the crowd, finally deciding to use his affinity for sensing magic to try and find her. If she was anything like the Kia he had known, he'd be able to sense her electrical affinity...basically fancy talk for he used his lightning detecting pulse thing that was just natural to him now. After a few rounds of sending off this post, he found them. They were near an edge of the dance floor, and he eventually got over to them, just as axis said her last few words. E..excuse me..but it seems you left your drink somewhere where it would get stolen. He said with a nervous smile as he held the uncorked bottle out for them both to look at.

Kia stopped dancing for a moment when Axis said she reminded her of someone, Of course she does there are other Plain Janes in the world like me... She thought as her smile wavered a little bit. The cult escapee never thought of herself as pretty, she knew that Abigail's customers would recall that she looked like a miniature version of her hot sister, but then again she never listened to the opinions of drunks nor took their compliments to heart. But she was proud to be a Plain Jane. No boys can fall in love with her, which meant no drama, no staying at home, and no clinging onto the significant other.
Kia started dancing to the beat again when Axis told her that Tyler was caught up in the moment. "Oh that? That's no excuse, he shouldn't have put his new citizens in danger, those things multiply faster than Bebe's kids!" The blomde's voice raised up a bit higher, it was obvious to see that Kia feared the heartless and decided not to interact further with Sexy Saikou because seemed acquainted with one of them. She lifted her lips and blew her bangs, resuming dancing as if she didn't say anything.
All of a sudden Sexy Saikou (new nickname) came up and handed her the bottle. She scowled at the sight of him and snatched the bottle away as if she was disgusted by touching him. Angered by the fact that she's attracted to him and that he wasn't as human as she thought he was. "Thanks..." She said as she held the bottle gently, she loooked at both him and Axis. "You guys can dance, Imma just go get more punch." And with that she pushed past a few slow dancers so she can go to her destination, her hormones or maybe something else? Got the best of her as she tried to place her arm on a mummy's arm as if to gently push him away so she can pass. The mummy looked down at his towlette arm and saw flame engulfing from them, burning away his towels, he pushed away his dance partner and ran to the punch bowl and placed his arm in there, swishing it around watching as the flames turned into a misty steam.
The mummy relaxed and went back to his dance partner, Kia sighed seeing that she had no punch to distract her. She looked in her uncorked brown glass bottle and lifted it to her lips. It was empty but no one can see that, as she pretended to drink from the bottle she looked around to keep herself from looking at Tyler.

As Kia attempted to distract herself, someone approached her from the very edge of the crowd. It would have done you well to not scream, madam. The voice of what sounded like a young girl echoed above the noise of the crowd. If she were to turn around, she would see what looked like a little girl, with long, wavy blonde hair, tiny wings tucked behind her hair, and a colorful dress, along with green eyes. She looked like a little girl, but her tone was more mature than that. The beast our oh so wise leader summoned is fully tame. It acts as guardian of this place now. We are surprisingly free of lower level heartless. However, it is still dangerous to live here, as stronger heartless come in numbers. However, heartless appearing has become very much uncommon. She said as she held a cup filled with punch out towards the other woman. It was a nice gesture, but it was something that was little more than a afterthought to the young girl. She had already had plenty to drink, but she was keeping herself hydrated because she ran the records for the party, writing down what all the guests had donated, what guests had appointments with the new pumpkin king after the party, things like that. She smiled softly at the seemingly older woman, gently shaking the cup she had offered.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Away like the wind did Kia stray as Tyler approached with the bottle. Such an attempt to catch attention. Admirable in theory but sloppy in execution. Still kudos for trying. Then again who was she to pass judgement on the boy's style of engagement. When she herself was doing no better to guide the situation to a more positive outcome. No surprise in the slightest, seems more than a little song and dance was going to be required in order smooth out the bumps and holes in the proverbial road. Bumps and holes created on the whim of one easily instigating leader. Oh what a night this was turning out to be.
From her lips a grunt did sound as Kia stepped away. Still very much children in the way they conducted themselves. What to do, what to say. Again those questions entered Axis precession of thought. All the while she failed to realize her emerald hues were lingering of their own accord. Up the cobblestone, through the crowd. Such curvatures of the physique. The supple features about the frame. And... WAIT A SECOND!
Immediately retracted as if hit with a terrible scene. Axis shook her head briefly as her gaze went to the ground near her feet. Totally unfocused as to Tyler and his actions in the moment. "What was that about?" Her mind was in a sudden urge of disbelief, she just didn't know it yet. Not entirely anyway. It was slowly catching on through her nerves as she contemplated what had just happened. Such soft curves, such inviting hips. HOLD IT! No, not again. This wasn't allowed to be a thing. This shouldn't be happening. She did not just check out Kia's body in any remote way, shape, or form. Did she?
Not wanting to feed temptation lest it chose to sneak up on her once more. Axis did her best to remain calm on the outside. Taking slow and steady deep breathes to settle the uncomfortable tension from within. Women, foul temptresses every last one of them. Regardless of weather they knew it or not. Not that they could always control it. Eventually reminded that she wasn't alone in the crowd. Axis played along with Kia's display to distract from her own dysfunction. Putting on the impression that what had taken place between them made her feel awkward to a degree. All of it an act.
"Well then. Not quite hitting it off real smooth are you there?" Again she was careful with her words. Though this kid highly resembled the Tyler she had come to know and respect. Didn't necessarily mean it was him. How could it be. This time and place was different. That much she had picked up by now. This was far from the universe she had originated. A shrug and she turned to him with a raised hand. "She'll come around. Even the most stubborn of women see some reason when you give them the proper space." She reassured him. "However, while she's deciding. Care to join me for at least one dance. I would rather like to ask you a few things in truth." A small empathetic smile would trickle onto her face as her raised hand remained out for him to take should he accept the offer.
In this instance she made sure to take the role of the female. Not entirely dismissing her polite mannerism but rather turning on a bit of the classy charm. This would allow him to take the lead which she didn't not mind in the slightest. She did her best to be what others needed her to be. No matter what that was exactly. Beyond trying to keep each preoccupied, she did in fact how a few questions she was eager to ask. However, only if he felt able to indulge her.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Kia groaned when she heard another woman defend Sexy Sai- Tyler. She turned around anf knocked the drink out of the girl's hand as she offered it to her, spraying all of the red liquid over the food and drinks table. "What is with you people defending that son of a bitch!? First Axis then you, well whoever the fuck you are Pixie Stick!" She said, regarding the girl or woman's perfect figure. She was confused on her feelings with Tyler when she has only just met him like twenty minutes ago... All of this 'He's not all that bad' and 'He didn't mean to hurt anyone' crap was really starting to make her despise the guy.
"Screw this, I should have never came," She replied, closing her eyes and inhaling then exhaling to control her non excusable anger, she wiped the sticky red liquid off of her knightdress with her hands as she folded her arms and turned back to the winged female. "I'm going home." And with that she headed towards the exit of the party.

When she snatched the bottle away, Tyler's smile quickly flickered and faltered, leaving him to sigh, kicking a small pebble away from himself as he listened to his other guest finally speak up.
Well then. Not quite hitting it off real smooth are you there?
When he was asked this by someone who he also highly respected, Tyler shrugged. She seems to not have run into me in this universe..at least yet. However, I feel like you are not of this universe either..so I must ask..do you remember me? He asked her before she could say much more than that. If she did not remember him, he would have not said much more than this. This was his only reaction to what she had said, and he simply shook his head as she asked him to dance. See, thats the thing Axis..Im not that good at dancing, to be frank. However, if you would like to indulge my curiosity along with your own, we could at least get out of the crowd? He offered with a smile.
As the other woman stormed off, she would soon find a corridor of darkness opening before her. Alice quickly walked out of it, unfazed by any of her insults, ever the stoic one. She wrote down something in a blank page of a book she had somehow procured, tossing it back into the portal as she closed it. You misunderstand, I'm not defending him. What he did was absolutely stupid. But, I was simply pointing out his absurd thought process. She stated as the portal closed behind her. She was very apathetic to the whole situation, but she was willing to help grease the wheels of love a bit, so to speak. She had heard their leader sing the praises of this woman, and she really just did not want to have to tolerate his moping as he most definitely would when it was all said and done.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Not of this universe... If this didn't confirm a few things then the wolf was little more than an idiot by this point. Such a phrase she hadn't quite been hunting and yet was not adverse to receiving. So these were the exact kids she had once the privilege of knowing some rather far off days ago. Well, one of them at the very least. By his words this was the exact Tyler Saikou that had been mayor to the town of eternal Twilight. Father, husband, guardian and much more. As well as a favorably friend who in a time of desperation had offered his hand in aid time and again. Before she had all but disappeared completely.
Taken back by his words she had begun to drop the facade. In her eyes was a genuine mix of both confusion and curiosity as even more thoughts than before cascaded her mind. How was he here and for what reason? Had he been dumped her like herself or had something else compelled his presence in this timeline? If he was here, were others as well? So many questions all at once. She slowly retracted her hand from him. Her brows furrowing as she continued to glance at him. "So it is you." The tone of her words came out low, almost hushed like that of a whisper. Not the intention, she was just unsure of how to proceed. To think she had been right in theory this whole time. Amazing.
"I had my theories but I must admit, I was far from believing that I was correct by them." She continued to explain. The words growing progressively stronger as she grew affirmed with the notion of Tyler being there. Something about the idea that she was not alone felt comforting. As if to suggest that their presence in the new timeline was more than acceptable. Whether or not that was truth was still unknown. That would not stop her from getting to the bottom of it all eventually. For now, there was much to understand about what was happening in this instance.
Away from the crowd she did step. Arms being placed behind her back as they folded one over the other. "This is all so strange." There was a stress of tension spoken as she nodded towards Tyler. Clear contemplation could be seen in her features without fail. Everything had her mind occupied. The wheels inside undoubtedly spinning rapidly to process the new information given. "Very well, let us leave your people to celebrate. I can't blame you, though I myself prefer a little fun from time to time. There is much to talk about."
With that she began to walk away. The party being left behind as she made sure to keep a slow pace. This was to allow Tyler to led her to whatever location he felt appropriate. As she did wait from him to catch up she made one more comment in a joking manner. Something to try and lighten the mood just a little. "Besides, I can always teach you to soar like a majestic eagle on the dance floor later."

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
Kia was started to get really pissy, the teenage girl had low tolerance for people who stood in her way, "You know what," She spat. "I don't care, you're gonna pay for getting in my way!" And with that she lifted her right hand and curled it into a fist a gray bracelet with small blue diamonds appeared on her wrist. She wouldn't normally attack strangers, but people that got in her way about stupid stuff were gonna get their asses beat. This was her trying to take her freedom for advantage, just like her using profanity she would never do these things in the Meadows but she wasn't in the cult anymore she could do what she wanted, this was what she thought anyway.
With a smirk, she twisted one of the blue diamonds and in her left hand a massive Bastard sword appeared. She grinned and swung the massive sword Blizzard Blue 1.0 towards the girl's torso in a swift but slow motion, it wasn't easy to dodge since the sword was big. The citizens scurried away from the scene and danced alin an area away from the librarian and an angsty teenage girl.

Re: To Turn Back Time (Open)
As the woman swung her sword at her, the young girl simply blew her bangs up into her face, the blade stopping mere inches from her. She had used her magic to force the woman to stop. For someone the king sung the praises of, you certainly are headstrong. she said as her own dictionary sized book appeared in her hands. It was black in color, and had a silver heart on the cover. I don't take well to headstrong people. It makes it that much harder to keep the records straight. she said as the dancing quickly resumed.
(Stop Used, Kia is frozen for two posts)
As Axis quickly put two and two together, Tyler smiled and nodded. The very same. And as are you the same Axis I know. he said as he started walking towards the edge of the crowd. He knew that Axis would follow him. She had followed him in a more important way long ago, so walking with him was no big deal. He chuckled as he listened to her offer to teach him to dance. Maybe If I can get the wedding to happen again. he said, not managing to catch the gap in the crowd at all. He turned to face axis as they ended up atop the stairs leading to the mansion. Alright, ask away Miss Genesis.
