Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

“Ga-haaaaaa!” She screams from both the impact and following force that fires her much like a bullet from a gun. Her surroundings become a blur as she travels towards the hulking form of muscles set and ready to receive. Closer and closer she travels, her eyes widening with shock as Thelen’s form becomes more pronounced. The amount of strength used insures that a reaction from her is next to impossible. On instinct, the witch’s chest starts to swell like a balloon, as though she were holding back a wave of bile. But, upon impact, what she will spew forth from her body will be anything but. All she’d need is to follow along her path.

As she sails towards the hero, the Sultan watches on for a moment before turning to Wolfram and the nearby Chandra.

“Listen, that, that thing,” he says through gritted teeth, “I don’t know how to kill her, I’ve only been able to imprison her. I’ve tried, hundreds of times. Her body breaks down, but it’s just a shell. Even while she’s a spirit she can create a new body to possess. Do you have any ideas?”

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

The lizard man's axe hit its mark with excellent results, sending their volleyball towards the correct path and for Thelen to finally take a turn. Smiling now as the idea of causing some unrestricted harm felt like a treat, normally he'd have to restrain himself from generating too much of a scene but that ship already sailed. This town or at least the part of it they were in was no more then a battle grounds of  some of the best combatants he had seen yet in the long days so flexing his muscles to what they could really do was rare blessing.

Thelen would ready his weapon, still holding on to the cocky smile of his bearing out his fangs underneath his brush bangs, hiding his savage blood lust. Their enemy looked as though she was attempting a strange measure while being hurl towards him, plumbing her self to unpleasant proportions, proving to be a crafty one already Thelen thought about engaging in a much more brutal and strategic manner rather then rushing in. He would command his blade to vanish only for it to again appear high above the town's ground upwards over top the batten path Tartus was flying through.

Taking in a breath the sliver knight would expend his chest, clearing his mind and whisper his victory mantra to himself, harnessing his power into his fist and glowing in red in power as his aura emitted off strongly enough to be visible to plain sight. The nobody would then slam down his fist like a flash of lighting, striking at the sandy ground and rendering into away like a exploding impact had hit. And with his power that immense strength of his might would occur in an addition slam a large force of power down at the exact same time all around as his fist had. Powered by his own level of brute force in addition to an extreme amount this area would feel the weight of this force all in one moment. He would even shirk it further into a the area around the Tartarus and heightening his power attack by an additional severe amount on top of that just for the luckily little girl.

In addition the sword floating high above her flight path would also be flung down a meteor, hurling itself and its sharp edge and roaring flames pummelling downward coming ripping down at the skies as an infernal horror.

Hopefully his attacks flattening her painfully and her likely attempted counter attack. In addition to having his lunge his blade clean through her back while roosting her insides with the holy fires that would deal quite a large amount of damage themselves should the attack follow through with no issues.

Thelennx would then teleport just above the blade's hilt, slamming his foot on its tip to further pin it at the body, adding insult and more injury to the witch while standing over top his barbarous work. If she had escaped then he would just grab hold of the blade after teleporting on it.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Having been separated from her family at a young age, Chandra didn't get to learn how to permanently deal with monsters like the witch, and while Wolfram used to be able to execute demons like her, he was no longer able to do it after his desertion from his cause. If only there was some way... "I'm afraid not. Imprisoning her is the only option for now."

Chandra closed her eyes and pointed to the Nobody. He'd feel a protective shell of light surrounding him, shielding him from whatever trick the witch had in store as she sped towards him. Additionally, he'd feel a lot lighter on his feet. This would stay on him for a while, or until the shield broke. But should he suffer injuries still, a little concentration from her, and his wounds would have healed.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Eno Vale Thu Jul 14, 2016 7:38 pm

The witch’s mouth opens in a twisted gaping maw as Thelen’s blow seemingly warps her malleable into a grotesque shape. Yet, that wasn’t enough for the hardy nobody as he brings forth a summoned blade of fire to pierce the target from behind. As the Avatar flies back from the sheer force of Thelen’s attack, there is no time to respond for the next move that was to follow.  The Avatar’s shrill scream pierces the warrior’s ears as the fiery weapon he brought into existence pierces her back, the element burning away the sludge that made up her body. It did nothing to slow her travel as a cone of air appears to form around her, further showing just how much force the nobody exerted for this attack.

A cloud of dust and debris flies out in all directions as the Avatar goes flying into the fortress wall, almost eliminating the western wall in its entirety. Elongated, shaky black limbs can be seen as the avatar pulls her mangled body from the mess. The sword remains stuck in her chest, the opening spilling the black, inky contents of what would have been her attack. The pressure created from Telen upon impact kept her throat from expelling the fluid, leaving it in her bosom. But, the sword acted as a great knife upon the balloon-like consistency her chest became, deflating her in seconds. More of the sludge could be seen in a narrow line between where Thelen first made contact, and the broken wall.

Gritting her teeth, she struggles out of the opening, landing on her hands and knees. The witch expels more from her mouth and chest as she struggles to her feet. While she’d appear to be beaten, the reality is anything but. Despite the extreme damage she’d been dealt by not only Wolfram, but from the little angel, and the warrior, she was still looking for more. Setting her eyes back on Thelen, she licks her lips, hungrily. The Sultan can wait, this monster of a man would be her target for now.

The veins below the surface rise up upon her body, pulsating with new life. The amount of punishment she’d taken in this short amount of time did put her into a state of desperation, and in doing so she’d utilize a move just as desperate. As she steps forward, a purple aura erupts all along her body, covering her in a violet glow. She squats low, as though preparing for a race, her muscles ripple under the black, ink as her limbs become thick.

“Something about you,” the witch starts, her white milky eyes aglow with darkness, “makes me want to keep going.” A sickening snap as her body grows to compensate for the gain in strength, speed, and agility. “I’m sure you’ve heard that one a million times before, though.” The rest of her statement disappears into the wind, as does she. The sheer speed she exudes now may easily allow her to keep up with the larger one before her, maybe even eclipse his own should she reach the full duration of her rage.

In a sudden flash, she appears in front of Thelen, unleashing a flurry of clawed strikes against his chest and face. As she starts this combo, hellish black chains arise behind and above the giant nobody warrior through portals manifested within space itself. The sword may still be stuck within her chest, but the fires that once harmed her now adds to the intensity of her desire. That, and the strong element making up the weapon is slowly but surely undoing the wound she'd been forced to endure up until that moment.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Thelennx Sun Jul 17, 2016 4:37 pm

With his blow delivered and the witch appearing to be out of his line of sights Thelen took a moment to breath thinking on how much he was enjoying this bout, letting the power he worked so hard for finally being put to use even if the other half halve of power combos were not present at the time this still was a great time to let off some steam. He did hope that his allies were doing alright, there didn't seem to be much activity on their side from his perceptive quite yet.

The nobody was about the turn and see his comrades watching from the side lines though the air if evil did not escape his view just yet and despite his efforts the enemy in front of him did not yet relent. Instead she stood up once more showing her true essence splattered and reforming before him, didn't seem either of them were willing to give up yet.

Watching her ascent into a madness the witch appeared now before the giant with venom and ugliness in spades to spare. “Hmm don't bother, your not even close to my type” she came before him gazing at his front just shivering down at his size before unleashing a fury of attacks clawing out from her tiny hands. Thelen's grin returned as he called off his weapons, his sword stuck in her chest and his shield on his arm returning them into their storage space in a vanishing poof of nothingness while nothing but his brute self meet with her attacks.

Her attacks were impressive as the damage could easily be felt and dug deep into Thelen's flesh piercing down his body as a delightfully agony. Blood and sweat, running down his body while tanking this assault and feeling his own wounds healing to the touch as her claws moved. He would then also strike back though with a clenched fits, swinging through with punches to her fast, stomach and shoulders while kicking at her knees and angles just as quick as she moved. Striking at her blow for blow while taking her punishment in return only for it to add to his own power to fight on. And with each blow that Thelen delivered the force of strength he emitted in abrasive downward push around them. Adding a secondary hits to Tartur's body like a huge hammer beating down at her while Thelennx's keep beating her in the front, her chains would also be pressed and attempted to be pushed to the ground with the strength behind these force attacks each time.  The chains would have to push through themselves in the force of strength pushing down at them, hopefully keeping them at bay while Thelen and the witch brawl like savages.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Chandra Tue Jul 19, 2016 2:05 am

Wolfram charged after the witch, attempting to divide her attention between him and the Nobody she was fighting. For that, he slung his ax on his back and resorted to using his hands and feet. As he charged, the gaps of his armor glowed bright before the rest of his suit picked up the sand like metal filings to a magnet. The sand compressed, mixed in with bits of metal that started to ooze out from the maw-like gap on the front of his armor, making it much denser to absorb any blows that might come to him. The giant attempted to grab the witch around her neck, and would have tried to keep her in place.

Chandra hovered above them, her halo in her tiny hands, ready to dispatch the witch, or at least weaken her enough for the sultan to imprison her if he was able. When she found her opening, either when Wolfram successfully restrained her or when the witch shifted her attention to accommodate the giant's presence, the halo would have sailed through the air to cut through her, and then again after it disappeared and teleported back into the angel's hands.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Eno Vale Sat Jul 23, 2016 7:15 pm

The witch speaks in coughs and sputters as Thelen’s hammer-like fists wail against the avatar’s inky body. That, coupled with the gravitational force pushing into her from above and behind, the hero’s attacks were proving to be a lot for her to handle. But, she fares better than the ground at her feet, which has since been crumbling under the furious punches. Her body was a tough one to crack, but these solid bricks of power would definitely see to breaking through the shell again. Yet, as time passes, her aura grows thick, and the power, speed, and agility she exudes reflects it.

While Thelen was a mile and a half of hurdles to overcome, the slight sluggish air his combos seem to gain as her perception speeds up with the time, makes her believe there’s a shot to get through this massive wall of muscle. Then, she could deal with the others, leaving her with the prey she’s sought out for twenty years. Despite her current situation, the witch can’t help but sport a blood-crazed smile matching her opponent’s. The nobody would start to notice in time, blows that were landing full on are starting to skim the surface as the witch’s body ungulates in ways that help her avoid the full damage of his blows. That, and her claws were able to slide in a bit deeper with each attack, but vital areas were still another hurdle. She could land her hits in debilitating areas, but Thelen obviously won’t go down from that.

In this instance, she’d enact two strategies at once.

First, her back would ripple at her shoulder blades, as though a surface of water became disturbed by something rising from deep within. The second, with each blow the Nobody lands, parts of her body stuck to his fists, and they’d slowly grow. With each passing second parts of her body would grow along Thelen like mold in an attempt to consume him, and with each passing tick of pain the nobody would feel, that would in turn transfer to the witch as nourishment. He’d only make this worse by continuing his plan of action now.

As for her chains, they were made next to useless under his assault, only acting as a means to transfer the concussive strikes that were raining down upon her. Because of them, she’d be able to remain in this fight and continue to attack back. However, this match was not one versus one, and Wolfram is more than happy to show that, bringing in the earthen elements into his armor and forgoing his ax for his own fists. As the two were locked in combat, the giant would enter the fray, the loud clanging of his armor giving his presence away. With a quick glance, earning her a solid strike to her jaw, she’s able to see the second giant’s form as he approaches. He attempts to wrap his hands around her, but he’d meet thin air as she ducks. If Thelen didn’t pull his fists back, he’d risk striking the other in her stead.

While squatting, whatever she had cooking within emerges from her back in a flash. Another form, significantly smaller and incredibly slender, a lamia of sorts. LIke the witch, the upper body reflected her perfectly, but at the waist and below, a single ink black tail made up the rest. Sliding about the dirt, she’d move around the legs of both. Looking up to strike Wolfram from below, the snake-like creature move about to try and find a weak point in the armor, instead spotting the little angel moving about in the sky.

And that, caught her attention above the others. While the main body saw to keeping the other two around her, the snake would crouch, ready to strike this new prey. Suddenly, like a spring, the snake shoots up in a blur of speed to try and preemptively cut off Chandra from the others, along with keeping her from supporting them with her own attacks.

This snake’s mouth opens unbelievably wide, showing dozens iron black chains with ooze dripping off of each. As though she were vomiting, she unleashes the chains at the angel as she closes the distance. But, another intervention keeps Chandra clean and clear of the Avatar’s secondary summon.

Eno, having leapt into the air after seeing the snake creature pick its target, meets the chains with his keyblade. Acting as a fan of sorts, his deflecting strikes come in a blur, the chains either limply falling back to the earth, or avoiding the duo entirely. But, the ink covering these chains splashed onto the blade of his key, and the Sultan’s own exposed skin. With his clothes having been heavily damaged from combat, his chest, shin, and even his arms were being consumed by the avatar.

Gritting his teeth, the Sultan is forced to ignore the pain now erupting both on and under his skin. Sadly, he’d be the first to meet an unfortunate fate out of the four. While his interruption would spare Chandra from the avatar’s weapons, the Sultan wasn’t so lucky. Eventually, the eruption of chains were able to wrap themselves around the keyblade despite its constant motion. Once his sword was forced to stop, the Sultan’s eyes open wide with shock.

Not a single silver spark of flame along them, and his presence did nothing to stop them from manifesting. Before he can react the chains slide along the keyblade, wrapping around his arms and wrists. And, in a sudden move, more chains erupt from that disgusting maw. Acting as a second mouth, the mound of chains swallows him whole, encasing him in a shell. They work quickly, snaking their way into open wounds and under his skin, his healing doing little to stop the damage as it quickly spreads.

With the endings of these chains leaving the snake, it grabs hold of the ends, slinging the Sultan and chains like a wrecking ball into the duo fighting the main body below.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Thelennx Wed Jul 27, 2016 4:30 am

Hmm his fist felt good smashing away at this little creature with little hesitation or moral dilemma in the way of his fun. Smashing blow for blow the Nobody felt the energy of his power course through him and add her pain to his power and speed. And while her features hide its nature Thelen could feel his power raise each time and his life force enhanced thanks to his success.

However all was not as well the longer their battle prolonged itself as her movements were also become more apparent to his own, if she had remained static this would have been much easier but even in this kind of battle the avatar was gaining her own momentum. Not only that but her disgusting excuses for a body was taking the blows much more like mud at this point, taking his strength into what seemed like a black void. But at least it was in pain and would feel it all the more even after his first strikes had hit.

The larger giant came rushing in as this sticky substance was starting to become a noticeable threat, slowly his assault Thelen erupted from his body a large wave of force similar to the power he had been using before. However this time originating from his body itself and pushing away the annoying substance from his flesh before the armoured lizard man came in to help. Quickly he would jump back while leaving a trail of blood in his path, almost losing balance for a moment while examine the damage dealt, it was heavily and his wounds were taking longer to heal then normal for some odd reason. It had been a while since he had faced damage without it being forgotten like a fleeting memory. And while he numbed his senses to lessen a sense of pain the sliver knight would need to better listen to his body to keep going.

As he took a small breather to allow the axe wielder his turn Thelen watched as the sultan saved the little angel only for calamity to befall him soon after. The chains themselves appeared to be just another extension of their foe as they wrapped around the poor king's body in a hellish and painfully manner. Acting with such haste as the a normal eye could hardly follow the good heart-ed barbarian would fly to the skies, pushing away the air itself from his path before catching the huge ball of metal trapping Eno. Thelen would then slowly lower the cage like structure while pounding his hand on it, pleading for Eno or whatever remained to hear his voice.

“Hey Hey! Sultan guy we need you, bust your way out of there or how can I help you get out? Answer dammit”

There wasn't a response right away which was concerning, the man that lay tried inside this metal cage was of greater power and they needed someone to watch this world, he was unsure of what kind if state that Eno was in but surely something to help him would be better then nothing. Clearing himself in the chaotic energies of this battle Thelen emitted a pure white energy off himself then onto Eno, lost in that darkness. Soothing the sultan of all debilitation that hampered him and would further empower him with vigor.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Chandra Thu Jul 28, 2016 12:45 pm

The time spent separated from his origin had slowly caught up to him. Wolfram's own power had been weakening ever since he first set foot out oh his own world. Only now did he notice how much he had lost. This witch would have been easily put down with little effort on his part, but that wasn't the case now. While his armor saved him a lot of pain, the strike he suffered had him staggering backwards, effectively stopping him in his tracks.

Chandra meanwhile was bracing herself as the chains came for her, but before she could make a move, the sultan took it upon himself to assault the chains for her, eventually getting engulfed in the darkness. She took her halo and sliced at the ball that had become the sultan's prison, but she couldn't cut deep enough to free him. And before long, the ball was being swung around like a morning star and sent downwards onto Wolfram.

Getting a hold of his senses just in time, Wolfram let out a wolf-like growl as he got into position. The entirety of his armor glowed for a moment as raised his palms up to swat the ball to the side, just enough to miss him. Choosing to brandish his ax again, he attempted to cut the chains that were attached to the ball with a single strike before turning his attention back towards the lamia.

Chandra remained alert, keeping herself on the move and a little farther out. She couldn't risk getting caught again.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) - Page 2 Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Eno Vale Thu Jul 28, 2016 7:52 pm

The nobody’s voice echoes throughout his mind, as though he were calling from far off in the distance. Eno could see the visage of the berserker before him, but it’s at the end of a very long tunnel of black. The substance that’d soaked the chains spread and infection, a corruption borne of the depths of hell itself. Ink fills his eyes, completely blocking his purple orbs behind a wall of smog. Thin lines of it can be seen running from the wounds in steady streams. His healing magic did go into effect, but it couldn’t act at its highest potential. Just like back in his time of death, the witch manages to gain the upper hand on him again. Two centuries of wandering the wastes, and then twenty years of wearing the title of heretic as a trophy, all while trying to lead the masses towards a brighter path. All the efforts of a prisoner are undone by the warden. Not even Wolfram’s mighty blow could do anything with what these chains were made of. Creatures the size of continents were held fast by the same shackles as they’re tortured. Though there is a way to break them, Eno’s previous master was sure to keep that information from him. That lack of knowledge would insure his power over the who was once his prisoner, and that disposition seems to persist into the present.

A single pulse of his heart reverberates through the shell, causing it to vibrate in Thelen’s hands. A small portion of it spreads for him, revealing the Sultan’s pathetic state. An action from the Avatar of Tartarus rather than strength of will. Various black links can be seen running under his skin like so many snakes, causing his veins to erupt, pumping the plague through his body. Rage billows from within, finally bringing a numbing sensation to the foreign objects dislodged and roaming the giant. Another beat, and the chains shiver. But, no matter how many times Eno tries to cleanse his body of the sickness, there is no change. Whatever the avatar has done to him, it may as well be permanent. Imprisoning her reaches another level of importance in this case.

He could feel the influence of his ally pouring into him much like a refreshing wave of water on a hot summer’s day. However, pouring water into a cup of holes proves meaningless. The vigor comes in waves, prompting Eno to pull at the chains within him. Sadly, as his hands wrap around the chains, some links making up the cocoon wrap around his wrists instead. A single chain on each instantly splits into five individual ones for good measure, the small, hair-like razors making up the metal cut deeply into his skin, and his blood runs from the new wounds. In a sudden burst of energy, the Sultan tries using the power Thelen gave him to emerge from the chains. It was a vain attempt, and the otherworldly metal “snakes” wrap around his chest, shoulders, and neck.

While being strangled, his arms would be forced out from his sides, as though the witch sought to crucify him. A means to further embarrass the trapped Sultan.

As for Wolfram, the lamia would prove a formidable match. Once she hit ground, and with the giant creature lumbering her way, the snake woman hisses her displeasure before slithering his way. With the distance closing rapidly, the snake raises a hand to her target, and a dozen chains erupt from the ground to meet him. While their initial target appears to be Wolfram himself, just before they’d make impact, they’d stop in their tracks for a mere moment before shooting up toward the shaft of his weapon. Their intention was not the beast’s chest, but his hands and means of combat.
And, with Thelen daring to take his eyes off of his opponent, the witch gains a moment of clarity in this short break. With Eno being wrapped up, as well as the angel offering little in means of combat, along with both giants taking their attention off of her, she decides to act. In a burst of speed, she targets Wolfram’s large back, her claws elongating into blades. As she travels, the avatar feels her power surging yet again, boosting her capabilities even further than what she had a mere ten seconds ago. The wind around her body was forced away as she travels.

Once a few feet separate the two, she skids to a stop, thrusting an arm at his plate as hard as her body would allow her to throw the blow. She simultaneously brings forth chains to wrap around the beast’s ankles as she throws her blow. If both black creatures are to succeed, the guardian would be subject to devastating strikes from both monsters. Neither knew not what make the platemail was, but having spent many millennia ripping through armor like tinfoil, there was far and few makes of gear that could stand to her in Tartarus.

Hammering away at the chains with his mighty fist in futile attempts gave Thelen at least some sense of usefulness while the battle raged on. He didn't know this man nor did he care for this world itself and yet his efforts were motivated enough for his hands to grow red with effort. It was a struggle he found himself trying understand while grasping at empty effort while Eno lay buried in the dark metals.

The enemy would also not relent, turning now to witness how the war raged Thelen can see the quick near serpent like tactics of this demon take a hold of another ally of his, the angel appearing to having her own troubles and concerns while afloat from afar. She must be limited to her actions or something so his concern would need to lay with the giant.

Though he couldn't leave his post to the sultan's problem he could at least provide some back up from afar. Thelen would summon forth his personal soldiers from the void of nothingness to wolfram's side. Two berserk would stand their ground behind the lizard, holding their mighty axes crossed together while taking the blow from the avatar, holding her back with what strength they could while being knock a around a little but hopefully to migrated the attack away from the lizard while producing waves of light rippling off their weapons to push her back and bring some pain.  Two more berserk would also do the same for the front attack provided by the other dark beast.

As they proceed to act as the ally's shield four samurai nobodies took their stands in tight focus, harnessing it into their blade as they dimmed then shun with light behind the witch's back side while she pressed forward. Readying to strike just at the moment her attack would hopefully be deflected and leave her reeling back for a clean multi hit cuts.

Thelen trusting his nobody solders to proved as much help as needed proceed again to finding some manner to freeing the trapped king of sands, for in all likely hood he would know how to defeat this enemy.

Why did it have to be like this? Her hands were hidden under her sleeves, but they had long curled into fists, feeling frustrated and helpless. There was so little she could do, and she couldn't get too close, or else she'd get caught like the sultan, and that would only make the situation worse. She was asking for strength, for anyone. If anyone were listening to her silent pleas, she needed something to help the others. She couldn't just stand idly by while those people were giving it their all to defeat this witch.

There was nothing she could do alone, but maybe her past selves could help. One by one, she called out for her ancestors in prayer, but no matter how much she called out to them, the darkness was too much for her calls to be heard. She was close to losing hope, but then she realized, she had something that could at least protect her guardian. 'Be safe...' she thought, removing the clip from her hair.

Wolfram had braced himself, but a group of armored soldiers jumped in front of him, giving him time to ignite his ax in preparation for another earth-shattering attack. But before that, she saw something sparkling in the sky. Chandra's halo sailed straight for the witch and her snake-like extension, but that wasn't what caught his eye. It was something small and aimed at him. Catching it in mid-air, he was surprised to see it was the cute little clip the angel always had on her hair. And he felt a strong power inside it. This protected the angel, and now she was lending it to him?

The plates on his abdomen parted, spilling out a bright mist. Since he didn't have anywhere to put the clip, he'd just have to store it inside him for now. The armor was sealed once again as soon as the clip was inside. Oh he could feel the holy powers surrounding him now. He just hoped it was enough.

He charged forward, ax at the ready and flaming. As the nobodies attacked, he integrated himself into the fray, switching between the sharp blade of his ax, and the blunt, broad size of it. He was planning on letting the molten metal do the damage instead of slicing and dicing the witch, since it didn't look as effective. Additionally, any of the chains that tried to restrain and overwhelm him simply broke before reaching the giant, which surprised him. How much power was that clip holding?

Still keeping her distance, Chandra cast a spell for the sultan, filling him with purifying light, which would hopefully free him from the witch's ball of darkness. She herself wasn't sure if this was powerful enough to help him, but she had to try.

The witch howls in frustration as the Berserker’s hammers keep her claws at bay. Sparks fly uselessly along the sides of their weapons, the light shining from them further making her attempts futile. Backing away doesn’t give her the moment she needs as samurai class nobodies cut into her ooze-like form, however, their blades become stuck in the sludge. They attempt to release their means of protection from the ink they attacked, and find themselves subject to the whims of the witch. With a shriek and wave of her claws, the four nobodies were to be cut away, but the molten metal of Wolfram’s ax kept the avatar at bay. By simply touching the blunt portion of the ax her hands were swept up in a cloud of steam. The heat was unbearable, as was the holy aura that now surrounded his body. The snake moves forward to strike the guardian while the avatar is forced back due to the arrival of these husks. Saving both from the angel’s tool.

Wolfram’s interference allowed the samurai’s enough time to retrieve their weapons as they pass around her, allowing them back into the fight. Even with the snake woman joining the fray their combined efforts weren’t enough. Loud clangs ring out through the open dirty fields as metal met darkness in locked combat. Thanks to her body constantly growing stronger, she manages to keep up with the group. The chains were working wonders against the nobodies, wrapping around them and multiplying upon touching their targets, eventually overtaking the group Thelen brought into action. Wolfram didn’t seem to give in, instead any link that came too close dissolved after a moment, surprising even the avatar.

Sharing consciousness with the lamia allowed her to see Wolfram grabbing the pin and putting it in his armor. Did such a small trinket hold the power to ward off Tartarus’ Warden? What sort of rank did the angel hold in the kingdom of heaven? In order to break something as hardy as the ones that held even the strongest demons at bay, the little girl had to be a monster in her own league, either that or she held on to some really powerful friends. Neither held any sort of comfort for the witch, her desperation growing along with her body’s power.

Focusing on her dark energies, her body enlarges to compensate for the increase in strength. The violet aura growing ever thicker and brighter. A gusts of wind erupt from her as the aura pulsates with extra life. This time, when her chains reach for the guardian again, they’re able to remain in existence for a few seconds longer before shattering like before. She may lack the power now, but within a few minutes not even the angel’s toys would save her friends.

Meanwhile, the chains keeping the Sultan at bay grew ever tighter as the nobody slams his fists into them with reckless abandon. Pain wracks his form all the while, but the actions of the hardy mass of muscle fills Eno with enough determination to grab hold, and pull with all his might. Every fiber in his being screams at him to stop, as the small razor-like protrusions along the chains further cleave through his muscle tissue, and even scrapping his bones. Yet, a pulse of energy and retightening of the chains kept him at bay.

“L-Listen!” Eno cries over Thelen’s attacks, “I-I think I have an idea, AUGH!” Two chains, both slinking into Eno’s open mouth, force his lips open, cutting the insides of his cheeks like ribbons in the process. By gripping both and pulling, Eno is able to free them from his maw, however the blood quickly filling his mouth made it a bit hard to add the rest.

“Make her hit them! Maybe she can break her own chains,” He cries, spitting the warm crimson onto what keeps him captive.

Shimmering in light the blades of the sword's man nobodies sliced and cut through what they thought would be their foe's body of darkness. Though unfortunately the weapons even bathed in the holy energies were drawn into the witch's body and held there with a stranger power holding them at bay that should have been burned with their powers but was not. Struggling now they held out their strengthens trying to break free which a blessing in Wolfram's quick movements were able to regained their weapons and sheath them.

With the witch focusing her efforts on her minions the chains swirled around them with quick motions, prompting their own defensive while trying to assist the lizard giant. The sameri conjured large spinning blades around their bodies spinning around them and fighting off the chains that tired to snare around them while they concentrated their focus into the right moment. The berserk would change their size and evade, sneaking through the tight spaces in the metal as best they could while also waiting for their chance to make their attacks count. Wasting it trying to size up this foe seemed pointless given how much their master had already tenderized her a little before they joined.

But their defences were not perfect as one of each nobodies on the sides were not fast enough to react, catching a axe and sword wielder in the coil of dark steel that slowly were binding out their lives to their dark magical might. But at least the majority of them were fairing better then those two.

Among their actions as Thelen's rage simmered down into a better claim seeing this cocoon as a mere obstruct now to this fight, though he sympathized with a fallen ally and for the good of this world balance he could not afford to let such a threat wonder freely unchecked without order. Just as he turned ready to jump into the heat of steel Eno's voice registered to his heightened sense, quickly the sliver knight turned back in awe to the man's pleas.

He heard with a heavy heart questioning his very intent in this plan and wondering if the plan was clouding Eno's logic. It was crazy and dangerous to even think about trying but in this instance he could not deny a man's dying wish at this point. Taking a hold of the large ball of chains Thelen picked up speed while dragging its massive form along the stone, heaving his power and grunts before tossing the wreaking ball clear through the skies and hurling in straight for the witch's blind point.

Not one to leave this to chance or risking hitting his other battling allies Thelen also gathered his mastery of the domain of space, focusing his empowered strengthen and force to attempted to grab a hold of the dark witch while she lay distracted against Wolfman's blade and blunt force, if caught he would by force toss the avatar into his shot at the same strength hoping to either flatten her or for her to proceed as Eno wished her to.

How much longer can they hold the witch back? It only seemed like she was growing stronger, no matter what they did, yet at the same time, the witch was being slowly eroded. Was there any correlation? Was she getting stronger as she was getting more injured, or was she gaining power from another source? The young angel couldn't figure it out, although there was a sign of good news among the darkness that they found themselves in. The heat from Wolfram's ax had a clear effect on the witch, and her chains didn't hinder the giant at all, thanks to the heirloom.

That knowledge allowed her to move back as she was the defenseless one now. And all she could do was to damage the witch with her halo. She aimed for the chains that attempted to bind the others, hoping it was enough to let them break free, however she couldn't quite get most of them as her aim was blocked by allies, and she didn't want to test whether they'd be affected by the searing pain the halo delivered.

The guardian, now blessed with divine protection, didn't hold back in his advance. The witch was burning from the metal, and he made sure she was in contact with as much of the surface as possible. He pulled his ax back, which may have afforded the witch a time to take a breath, but the ground below her would suddenly shoot out a jet of flames. Because of his allies being so close, Wolfram had to focus the flames on a much smaller radius, but was still enough to engulf the witch. After doing that, he swung down, attempting to cut into the serpent's body. If successful, both sides of the ax would have boiled her from the inside

((I'll come out and say it, this reply was WAAAAY TOO LATE. I'm sorry, but I... sorta forgot about it... I dunno what distracted me, but this was almost 3 weeks late...))
