Sezrix' Lore Log
- Locations:
- Camp Firebloom:
- The goblins in Camp Firebloom are dedicated to machinery of every kind, as well as the art of automation. They lived in a peaceful cycle of developing machines that would be more effective for creating more machines to, in turn, make more machines, and were able to master their craft as a result. When a gummi ship was shot down over Camp Firebloom, they were inspired by the weapons and alloys that were on board. They united under the leadership of Sezrix, who was named 'Buildabunch' for his aptitude with the new form of building. Camp Firebloom is now saturated with weapons tech, inspired by humans and build by goblins, the most notable of which is the 'Gobbiegummi', of which there are plenty to go around.
- Character Link:
- Goblins:
- A race of small, hunchbacked creatures with an innate passion for creation. What they build, exactly, varies from tribe to tribe.
- Isla:
- Sezrix met Isla during his first visit to Radiant Garden, and they got along rather well from the get-go. Sezrix proved himself generous, and in return Isla helped to acquire a local stock of what was, to the humans, scrap material. To the goblins, they'd be essential for future projects. Later on, Isla was even able to create a door through which Sezrix could return home. They went their separate ways after all, but Sezrix made sure to tell his tribe mates about what a wonderful friend he had made.
Isla is more than welcome in Firebloom, and may return at some point to visit.
- Lord Dirtfighter:
- A mysterious human who confronted Sezrix and Isla in Radiant Garden. Though there was conflict at first, they soon came to an agreement after a few misunderstandings were cleared up. In the end, goblins were still allowed to enter Radiant Garden, but their machines were forbidden from then on.
According to Sezrix, this person is a criminal who leads a band of armored highwaymen. In reality, he's the king of Radiant Garden. Goblins don't know the word "king" just yet.
- Gambie Stinkcloud:
- An allied goblin chief who assisted in shooting down a human aircraft some time ago. He and Sezrix don't know each other all too well, nor do they hold much interest in each other's hobbies, but they hold an alliance nonetheless since they have nothing to fight over.
Gambie and most of his goblins are allowed free passage through Firebloom out of courtesy. No one from Firebloom tends to show much interest in travelling to his camp, however, and so no policy has been put in place.
- Fursie Penfist:
- An exile goblin who was once a member of the Firebloom tribe. A long time ago, he pushed for trade and mingling with the people of a newly-formed Radiant Garden. Most goblins were wary of the humans at the time, however, and were afraid that such contact would be dangerous. When he began observing the humans so closely that he could speak in their accent, the others chose to remove him from the camp, deeming him a heretic and a traitor. To this day, his home is unknown, but he is suspected of stealing plans and parts from Firebloom workshops on countless occasions.
Recently, he has revealed his masterpiece to the Firebloom tribe: The Mighty Quill, a personal modification and overall improvement of the Gobbiegummi mech suit. With up-to-date alloy plate, a modernized engine, digital interface, electric circuitry and even integrated explosives, the Quill represents everything the goblins want, and at the same time everything they hated Fursie for becoming. Even though it is an ultimately superior design, they would never dare replicate it, out of sheer spite.
- Machines:
- Gobbiegummi Loader:
- One of the first things to come from the adaptation of human design into the machines of Firebloom, and perhaps one of the greatest. This mechanical suit allows even the weakest of users to achieve great feats of strength, and wield weapons that would normally require an airship to even carry. While inside, the user is even shielded from the elements, and the machine could probably survive lone transit between worlds, as its simplicity makes malfunction so improbable that it will probably face total shutdown before any individual parts fail.
- Great Lance Rifle:
- The standard projectile weapon of Firebloom's local Gobbiegummi pilots. This 'greatrifle' is more of a cannon, really, and uses steam pressure to hurl massive conical bullets, which look akin to miniature lances. The ammunition is simple, reclaimable and repairable, making it an extremely cost-effective weapon for recyclers.
- Mighty Quill:
- The unique Gobbiegummi variant that belongs to Fursie Penfist, exile of Firebloom. It is superior to the original in just about every way, though the goblins of Firebloom would never admit it. Fursie is never seen outside of it, and the windows are far too thoroughly tinted to see inside, and as such this machine represents him moreso than his own face.
