-A large staff of strong martial covered in strong metal that sounds slightly larger in height to Thelen. While one piece the can be wielded as a double bladed staff or the weapon can be split into two different blades at the user's whim.

-The bladed staff can also quickly extend into much longer ranges from the pole upon command while retaining its toughness and density.

-From the pole end when separated into the two different weapons the ends can shoot out short range bursts of nothingness energy like shotguns that deal additional damage and slightly extend Thelen’s damage range. Usefully for surprises attacks. When in single weapon form the energy can be fired at the sides of the pole to accelerate thrusting speed and tosses.

I'm curious, how does the pole extend exactly?
Or was that just a figure of speech for fighting style when used?

I was trying to go for like a extended walking stick like tool that my friend's dad has so if the mechanics are whanky let me know but i'll try to explain it.

To the best of my currently the pole would have different sections of chamberers with extra pole length inside that is locked, when needed the pool can be extend with the extra sections and locked into that length when desired.
