At the Edge of Town (Veara, open) - Page 2 Empty Re: At the Edge of Town (Veara, open)

Veara began to walk forwards towards his next victim that warm smile stayed open his face. Yet his intentions had been made clear after his actions he took less then a moment ago. Every step Veara took his feet crushed the ground before him, lightly tapping the ground, yet still able to shape the immediate area with every small movement. He had already picked the next one to pay the price that being the one who had witnessed his attack, however was in too much pain to move. Veara, suddenly stopped walking when someone blocked his path.

Immediately he brought his arm out to move the passerby, however when they spoke he knew who it was and his entire body shook. His arm stayed stretched out and didn't move while she initially spoke telling him that's enough...that's enough...these people were going to hurt her and possibly worse...yet she was defending them..why

...could she really not stand him that much to the point where she'd rather side with those who were ready to hurt her...which unfortunately was the only thought that capable of going through his head at the moment in time.

He had done enough damage...yet still Veara wanted to HURT...these people...these weren't people...they were those who prayed on the innocent...but if that was the case wouldn't Veara also be considered a bad guy...praying on individuals who clearly weren't able to compete or battle him. Apparently these men had nothing to her...and he was doing to much for her sake...Veara was extremely confused, his head could currently only process instinctive thoughts.

Veara now realized he had did wrong and slowly his iris began to return. He was calming down and he still held his arm out. "I'm....I didn't mean...im sor-" He was cut off by what she said the moment her head went down and shadowed her face. His entire arm stretched out began to twitch, and just as quick as they appeared the iris of his eyes disappeared again. Not for a reason of anger, but for an entirely different reason. He now realized how much he had made her angry and possibly made her hate him even more by his actions. He touched her shoulder, gently an went to say something his face had become distorted and panic'd trying to find the correct words to say before it was too late.

An that moment to Veara it was far too late.

That one sentence caused Veara to immediately lurch backwards and draw his arm back to its regular position as if he had just touched something extremely hot. He looked towards where she was standing as she asked the question. Veara's worse thoughts since that night was confirmed, another person thought he was a monster...another person wished that he didn't exist. Another 'normal' he thought he could call friend wanted him gone from her life.

She asked him to stay away from him, nothing good would come from it....nothing good would come from him...Veara quickly moved backwards his feet still shaped the earth underneath him.

Going into a panic attack, Veara moved backwards, he was currently blind and in his panic attack his powers were on the fritz causing him unable to see and unable to feel anything around him. Holding his head he moved backwards away from both of them while the monkey hybrid began to speak. The blonde could only take in so much of his words...and none of them were helping attain regularity. Veara slowly crawled backwards pushing his hood falling off his head and exposing him.

No longer were the veins popping out of his face they had receded. Before the monkey hybrid simply on his hands and knees was a scared boy.
"I don't belong." Were the only words that came from his mouth as the moment he felt his powers come back he quickly got to his feet and jumped into the air as high as he could sending himself launching into the air breaking the ground underneath him once again.

Activating his flight skill he simply started to fly higher and higher into the air. As much as it pained him to admit...he wasn't normal...he could never be normal and he wasn't meant nor after this eye opener, did he deserve to seek a normal life.

He belonged with other monsters.

At the Edge of Town (Veara, open) - Page 2 Empty Re: At the Edge of Town (Veara, open)

Before she had disappeared into the shadows of the alley, Yao's voice had frozen her in place. She had a hand placed against the corner of the building with such tenderness, as if she was afraid of causing it pain as well. Though her eyes were open, Tsumiko seen nothing, and instead focused on what it was she heard.

The quiet whisper that came from the blonde had her choking, the sound of shattering earth had her flinching. The shifting air that was a result of Veara taking off was forceful enough to send a breeze though the songstress' long hair. For a moment, she stood there in silence, her head dropped into her chest as she pondered the meaning of monkey's words. Repeating what she had said in her mind, it became painfully obvious how someone might have taken it the wrong way.

Turning to face Yao with a practiced calm. Her chest was in knots, and made the simple task of conversation increasingly uncomfortable. The only judgement a masked monster is capable of passing is in the presents of a mirror," she said, loud enough to be heard. Using Yao's trait of abstract wording was the only way she could manage to describe what she meant. Presenting him with a deep bow, she added, "I'm very sorry to have turned your day into such a drama filled on, though I pray that the future finds you in good spirits."

Standing up, she gave him a small smile before disappearing into the workings of the alley. Tsumiko was well aware that her sudden departure may have been taken as rude, and she hoped that the monkey man didn't take it personally. She just needed to be alone for a little while to calm her rampaging emotions. Perhaps one day they'd meet again with a more fortunate hand to play.
