JeY k Empty JeY k

Post by JeY k Thu Apr 23, 2015 1:20 pm

So uh, I didn't proofread the history. I'll do it once I'm sure this kind of thing is okay here ^_^; Just a fair warning in case stuff doesn't... make the most sense...

Name: KelfonJe-Yeiger "JeY" Kalsiar Katran
Age: Appears 19
Personality:
Self-centered and internally motivated by the question of 'how does this benefit me?', JeY has little regard or consideration for others, unless it's in his best interest to do so. When he speaks, there is a bland monotone voice that resonates as there is hardly ever any expression in his words. Sometimes certain things are said with vague inflections but it's still nearly impossible to tell what's going on in his head due to complete lack of any emotion he expresses. This is backed by the complete absence of body language and the fact that his face hardly ever changes from a solid, stoic position. There's an odd smirk or single breath of laughter every now and again, but that's simply attributed to becoming mostly human once more.

In fights, he is a cold and calculating machine with an ego. He'll hardly ever use his voice in a fight unless he's certain the opponent will be put at a severe disadvantage from banter, and usually remain completely and utterly still unless he needs to react. If he knows his opponent is much weaker than him, he'll tend to show off with a combination of flashy and practical in terms of evading or attacking. For tougher opponents, he'll conduct himself without any flare but each and every movement would be calculated and precise.

JeY is not without curiosity however. Humans were fascinating to him before his dramatic change, and having been away from them for so long, he continues to find them fascinating again. Most of the times, he'll forgo a purely logical and selfish decision on the case of 'why the heck not' or just to otherwise observe and entertain himself. This doesn't happen extremely often, but with quite a lot of spare time, it's not entirely out of character for him to just follow someone despite knowing he would gain zero benefit from it besides the possibility of being slightly entertained at certain points.

Race: Human in terms of shape, composition and physical traits; albeit enigmatic in nature due to lacking the need for most basic human functions such as eating, sleeping or breathing.

Appearance:
His hair is rather short (maybe 4-5 inches long), black and spiky/messy, with the tips of the spikes colored Azure; a darker blue. The spikes appear to be general clusters of hair as well. His complexion is pretty pasty white, slightly tan maybe (definitely not a ghost or albino though). His eyes are very peculiar; his left eye's iris is the color of yellow while his right eye's iris is more of a purple. Clad on his body is a blue T-shirt, plain Navy for the shade, with two diagonal cyan stripes in the bottom right corner. Though, only the body portion of the shirt would show. Over his t-shirt is a very dark gray nylon button up (with short sleeves), always unbuttoned, which is toned with a little bit of a shine. On the both sides of the button up (on the front), are orange tribal dragon drawings, both identical but mirror images each other, both facing inward toward his chest. His pants are smooth black nylons, slightly baggy, resembling the material made from his over-shirt, and stretching over his shins down to his ankles, over his thick black boots with silver lacing.

Around his neck is a silver chain; attached to the bottom is the claw of a dragon, seemingly grasping the air as if it used to be holding onto something, also made of silver. His forearms are wrapped in an alternating azure and black-schemed cloth, held on by two black straps, each with a single black button. Though, it is tied at the end toward the elbow.

Primary Elements
1.) Light
2.) Dark
3.) Moon
4.) Air

History: For a tl;dr, see 'other notes'
While not always having the name he did now, JeY did used to be an ordinary human being. He had blonde hair, blue-green eyes, a pale complexion and a geeky personality. To him, the galaxy of worlds centered around the concept of a 'Kingdom Hearts' were just fairy tales in dusty old books in his attic. He was a curious person, and read all of the literature cover to cover. His parents dismissed the stories as fiction, as did the merchant they acquired them from did. Where he lived, there were no Heartless, keyblades, or magic. Though, he loved to fantasize about being in that world; about those things actually existing.

One day while having some friends over, there was an idea to explore the attic some more. No one else had seen JeY's attic, but it was always described as having a 'ton of cool stuff'. It wasn't one of the initial things found, but JeY stumbled across the old books again. He smiled, but lifted all of them at once to put them aside only to clumsily let one slip to the floor, but a note popped out of the binding. JeY gently set the rest of the books down and peeked at the note, his jaw dropping realizing that what he was reading were instructions. It didn't say to what, but there were clear and organized steps.

It seemed obscure, but the process had him and his friends arrange the books in a certain order, and charged it with some sort of energy source. Arranging things was simple, but energy? Naturally the guys scoured the entire house to find something; anything. They came back to the arrangement of books empty handed, staring at it a little while and brainstorming ideas. For no real warranted reason, one of the friends went to slightly adjust one of the books, shocking himself with a bit of static. Apparently, that's all they needed.

The electricity surged through the arranged books and then exploded in light. It hovered and emanated light for a while as everyone sat motionless and shocked. There was a single circle of rune-like symbols at the base with a disconnected tall egg-shape of fluorescent pale light. A sort of mystical energy flowed in the air, drawing the group of friends to it in a sense. Finally someone asked what they should do, and JeY replied with the fact that he didn't know. It wasn't long after that before the light became unstable and expanded outward like a flash. JeY and his friends Zero, Ben, and Steve were sucked in, pulled between dimensions and transported to a new an exciting place.

Waking up on a mountainside in the Land of Dragons, awfully confused, he found his first friend Zero after a short period of exploring. They fell into a cave, faced some monsters and scrounged for stuff to defend themselves with, saved in the nick of time by a fighter with dark wings and a keyblade. He would escort them out, but not before fighting a terribly large skeleton. They barely made it out alive, though there was a collapse and the two friends and the winged fighter were separated.

Through some teleportation magic, they found themselves in Radiant Garden where they met up with another friend, Ben. There was just one more to find now. It would be easier than they thought since Ben already had acquired a Gummi ship through a charitable ship enthusiast. The first world they flew to was none other than Wonderland. Why? Well, why not? It was a good thing they did. It didn't take long for them to meet up with Steve! Best yet, there was an opera being performed nearby and since there was nothing better to do, they decided to crash the party.

The lot of them went on several adventures, getting a feel for their new abilities and the general physics of this new place. It wasn't too awful different from home but there were definitely subtle changes to how things worked in a more precise sense. JeY had acquired a new artifact that let him manipulate light energy at will, but only up to a certain amount at once. They weren't all always together, but they would occasionally meet up. Unfortunately, the last time most of them would see each other alive is when Ben's darker alter ego Shi split itself off and went on a rampage.

Ben was killed immediately, and Zero was locked in a one on one fight. The others, along with some new friends they made along the way, stood behind a barrier and had no choice but to watch; not before hoards of Heartless came to attack however. Something strange happened though, in a fit of rage JeY became consumed by his light energy, and one of their newer friends named Xaavifear became engorged in shadows. When they attacked an enemy at once, their attacks intertwined and formed a bright pink blast that decimated the target. It was a freak accident.

Eventually, Zero had lost. He was also consumed by the mad alter ego, and then escaped. It would take all of their effort to chase after him, hunt him down and defeat him, but they managed. A funeral for Ben was held shortly after, while Zero was also commemorated despite not having a body to bury. Everyone went off in their separate directions, feeling defeated despite having won.

Some time much later, JeY would receive a bizarre form of contact. He and a few others were teleported to the entrance of what seemed to be a gigantic industrial building, fortress-like in nature. They were welcomes to The Factory, and were sent to pass a test. It was puzzle-solving and boss-fighting at its finest before they made it to the end, where JeY was singled out to be teleported once more. They were in an empty meadow, sky clear as day, nothing else in sight besides short grass and flowers. He was across from Xaavfiear. JeY had passed the test, but now he had to be deemed worthy. But for what?

Xaavfiear attacked and JeY defended himself, unsure of what was going on, but knew that he had to win. It was such an intense fight that JeY turned into that entity of light once again, but something bizarre happened. He grew in size. He lost his human shape and became a giant dome of energy, collapsing on Xaavfiear. They were both doomed to be destroyed in his desperate attack, but something amazing happened. Instead of destroying each other, as light and darkness should, they combined. Xaavfiear's conscious was lost in the matter, but JeY stood from the aftermath, infused with a new power, and a new destiny. He was the one who was worthy. He gained Xaavfiear's knowledge through this transition, and learned that he alone now held the power that his people, the Shadowbeings, had worked so hard to create.

The apparent dimension JeY found himself in began melding and collapsing in on itself, and now that JeY held the power of Chaos, was sent back through a long road of time and space to end up in the realm of Shadowbeings to be their ruler. They were confused at first, but the elders confirmed that their plan of retrieving the power of the Chaos could only be done in the future. JeY was confused as well, since he had an all new form and was in an all new place once again, but had no choice except accepting his fate.

Not everyone loved their new ruler however. The wielder of Chaos would eventually be internally tormented by everything. His life was in constant danger, he had no one he could trust, and he had no place to gain solace. This realm was sealed off tightly. He was trapped like a rat in a world where he was rejected. It got to the point where he started killing them; not because he had to, but because he could. He was the strongest of any of them. He would vaporize entire mobs of Shadowbeings with a single sweep of Chaos energy.

This wore him to a breaking point. He snapped, losing any sense of humanity he had left. There was no emotion left to feel, he couldn't care about anything that wasn't directly related to his own benefit, and most of all, he was sick of this place. He decided to leave. It would take him the same amount of time as it's been since when he got there to the point he made that decision to actually figure out how, essentially doubling the miserable amount of time spent in this realm, but once he knew how it would be all he concentrated on.

Having killed most of them off, there were barely any Shadowbeings left to disturb him. He meditated for years, finding the link to place where it all started. The Land of Dragons. Taking nearly the entirety of the capacity of his power, he tore a rift that traversed an immense amount of time and space. If it was possible, he would've said he was universes away. Entering the rift, he poured all of his focus into keeping it stable during the journey. Even many more years pass before he is through, waking up in the Land of Dragons as a 'human' once again. However, he is nearly powerless compared to before...

Other Notes:
tl;dr on the history, is a human from another dimension who gained and subsequently lost a ton of power and has to start over.

A fourth doesn't make sense - I remember reading that it was an 'up to'?

You are correct apologies, however currently all your elements are heart elements which we allow one of you either have light, darkness

Nothingness reserved for nobodies

I'm sorry but please correct these and you'll be good to go.

Modified. I recently spoke to Game Master while designing this character and I was informed that someone has already been approved with both light and dark; if that gets de-confirmed, I may have to scrap this idea. It literally can't work without it.

Due to the nature of your history I'll allow this due to the fact that you put this together.

Approved, welcome to the site
