Celia Darkson, the Archmagus
Name: Celia Scarletite de Darskon
Age: 35
Personality: No longer the spontaneous and wild girl she used to be, the aspect of being a parent has calmed her down quite a bit. Despite being turned into a half-succubus by her lover, Zienna, she has quite the control over her own sexual urges and powers, thus making her extremely responsible when compared to her partner. She still has the knack for experimentation and has done quite a lot during the last 20 years. Experimentation is still one thing that gets her hot under the collar. Celia has also grown to be a good liar and this is mostly in part of her suicidal and depressive nature, that has developed over the years.
Race: Vampire/Succubus/Somebody
Appearance: Celia now stands at 5'9" and her eye color has changed to a nice cherry-red. She's reached the pinnacle of her growth and the succubus aspects of her, allows her body to give off a seductive vibe, even when it's covered in clothes. Her pear-shaped body has disappeared into a more shapely, hour-glass like figure. The scar on her abdomen show just how far succubi regeneration goes. Even with her new body and being healed, a scar remained from how badly Zienna tortured her when she was younger.
Primary Elements
1.) Darkness
2.) Fire
3.) Illusion
4.) Water
History:
Celia Scarletite de Darkson was born the first child of the twins. Her other half being Lily Atra de Darkson. The twins were practically inseparable when growing up, though a lot of their personality differed. Celia was very fiery, outgoing and passionate, she conflicted a lot with the authority figures that were their parents, despite the fact she loved them deeply. She had a very strong relationship with her older brother, Gwain, who personally trained her and her twin in hand-to-hand combat. Celia greatly respected her older sister Marigold and aspired to be like her. However, her already set personality held her back from being able to take a calmer, more business-like attitude for her to attain such a status. Nonetheless, she became more adept in the art of combat and spellweaving.
Celia, at the young age of 8, was able to cast a torrent of flames that threatened to burn down an entire city when the girl began to throw a temper tantrum. After that, her parents decided to have the young girl trained heavily in spellcasting, which she excelled at. Soon enough, the girl was able to conjure illusions and control the very nature of fire without having to do more than blink. Her talents were nonetheless put to good to use years after the deaths of her parents. Distraught over their loss, Celia found herself mostly distant from all others, except her twin. Her older sister, Marigold appeared before her and explained to the young Celia why she did what she did. When the truth was revealed, Celia had cast out all doubt and decided to join her sister's cause. Much like Gwain and Lily who participated in the 5 Years War, Celia was on the frontlines with her army of mages loyal to the Darkson cause.
The 5 Years War was essentially the war to end all wars on Marigold's homeworld. The woman had attained much power after she conquered her country, but wasn't satisfied with that. She wanted more and decided to go for global domination. Many other governments and countries didn't like the way how Marigold muscled in her businesses and other services to their population, so they decided to slander her name. Rather than take that sitting down, Marigold influenced the world economy to the point of where they had to take her business proposals sitting down. However, a lot of countries rebelled and tried to use propaganda as a way to fuel the fires of war against the Darkson name. They destroyed many of her businesses on their own homefronts and when it came to all-out war against the country Marigold ruled over, the queen decided that now was the time that she directly interact with armies that fought.
Celia's section of the army dealt with training and preparing mages for the upcoming battles. Celia herself, however, couldn't ever help with staying out of the fight and so when Marigold gave the order to finally show the true might of the Darkson army, Celia obliged. She ordered all units to retreat and when they did, she turned the world black and parted the skies. A false blood-red moon appeared overhead and with it, came the ultimate illusion. Celia reflected the true, primal urges of war and conquest into the minds of the armies she faced and used those urges to turn them all against each other. For the first five minutes, the allied armies tore away at each other until Celia was finished with her coup de grace. A meteor roared with a frightful quake that disrupted the land and tore through the blackened sky, destroying the moon and freeing every soldier from their mind's imprisonment. To their horror, they had killed friends, families and allies alike, only awakening to the end that was the meteor. After the meteor came close to reaching its destination, Celia erected a powerful and protective barrier over the entire battlefield, the meteor trapped inside. When it finally fell upon the grand armies, it's flames and destruction swallowed them all whole, the barrier serving as a cut off to their escape plans. The dust and smoke finally cleared, with Celia standing over a crater and a victorious smile creeping her lips. That was how she ended her side of the war in no less than 10 minutes.
After that, Marigold was crowned queen of the world, Gwain the king should something ever happen to Marigold and the twins as joint rulers should anything ever happen to their older siblings. After that, the world knew peace under Mari's rule, while Gwain and the twins knew boredom living at the top. Some time later, when Marigold and Gwain left to parts unknown, the twins decided that they too wanted to join in on the fun. Celia didn't want to make things boring by bringing all of her power with her, so she severely stunted her power and placed an illusion over the entire world, to make the population believe that their world leaders were still on their thrones. After that, the two traveled in search of their brother and sister to hopefully, take over other places.
Throughout her adventures, Celia had met many a colorful of people and managed to even further advance her own scientific goals. Out of all the people to effectively have an impact on her, however, was the succubus known as, Zienna. The woman to take her virginity and innocence as a young-girl, Celia eventually grew to fall in love with the demoness. Even after she was raped, turned a masochist, and then taken a one step further and turned into a succubus herself, the mage could only deepen her affection towards Zienna.
A relationship with a succubus, though, amassed several major problems. Firstly, there was the fact that Zienna was a very promiscuous woman and that was mostly due to her nature, something Celia couldn't complain about. Over the years, the woman dealt with her partner's frequent visits and acts to others, despite how much it hurt her emotionally. At first, it was just her emotions, but soon became a more mental thing. Whenever confronted about it, Celia laughed it off and told her partner not to worry about it. They had a child anyways, so there was no need to start drama when they had a beautiful, darling girl to raise. Thus, Celia dedicated what non-injured parts of herself there were, to making sure Silvia had an amazing life.
This even meant making sure the young girl could control those urges and not let them rule her. After all, it wasn't uncommon for Celia to hear, smell, or even walk-in on Zienna having sex with someone other than her. She wouldn't want anyone else to feel that sense of betrayal and so, raised Sil with a mindful warning over who she chooses to sleep with. Then again, she couldn't stop her partner's interference from time to time. Even with her daughter being a distraction from her more internal struggles, the mage found it hard to swallow of the depression she felt.
During the years that had passed, Celia went between The World That Never Was and Limbo. She traveled often and only did one thing. Experiment. The one last barrier that showed it could distract for so long... But only for so long. Celia had enough of it. The sadness had crept too far up onto her and distracting and running away from it only made it worse. So she killed herself. The first time she attempted to, she hung herself with a noose and felt the life slip from her, only to find that she had just simply passed out from the lack of oxygen. Her body restored itself and she called it a bust, then cut herself down. Distraught over the first attempt, it was only a few months later when she "borrowed" a high caliber weapon from her sister, Lily, and shot herself in the head. Several hours later, she came back good as new.
Angrier than she had ever been, she tore apart her room, remade it good as new, then tore it up once more. Eventually, she just left and found herself being confronted by Zienna's twin, Sevina. The Seraph worried about her sister's lover ever since Celia herself was younger and even after all that time, the mage still lied to her face. A simple smile and a, "I'm fine," was what she was given. More elaborate lies would come about as it was obvious, that she didn't want anyone else getting involved...
Nowadays, Celia spends her life in what would appear to be chronic depression. The woman wears a false smile and can't even find joy in having sex, nor experimenting. Rather, she constantly searches for a way to end the sorrow she feels, without having to hurt her family. To this end, she has had the instinct to ask one of the most powerful demons she knows, Maya, about how she's so well-behaved, despite being potentially hornier and even more stronger than her own daughters.
Other Notes: Celia has a particular liking for electro, dubstep and breakbeat music. She is also more prone to making obscure pop-culture and anime references whenever she's speaking with others.
