Personality: To put it simply, Katsurou doesn't give a damn about anybody but himself. He may make you think he's an ally, but he's probably in it for something. He works to get what he can for himself, no matter the cost to others, and will be quick to flee worlds once there's nothing left for him in them. Sometimes, Katsurou will pick sides, but that doesn't mean he'll stick with it at all.

Katsurou, in conversation, can be a little smug and somewhat of a smartass, as well as aggressive. If he knows there may be something in for him, he'll pick a fight, sometimes even if that something is simply personal satisfaction. He's more reluctant to kill those who give him a challenge in combat, and he prefers to have some fun in his fights. All-in-all, there's one way to say who he is: Katsurou is a selfish prick.

History: Katsurou Atsuregi has not had any semblance of a great past at all. He originates from a small world, namely that of Shibuya, where stories of Reapers and their Games run rampant. Katsurou came to idolize the Reapers, even if he couldn't see them, and came to be obsessed with the image of scythes. However, one day, Heartless suddenly made its way into Shibuya.

Katsurou found himself surrounded by Shadows, and one of them struck out. Some would say that the attack hurt him, but truly, the contact with Heartless did something even more. It gave him the power of Darkness to use himself... As well as send him on a slow yet steady decline. His heart was tainted by Darkness, and he slowly started to lose it, becoming only interested in himself and what he thought would get him more. More material wealth, more power, more satisfaction. He simply was never satisfied with himself.

Katsurou didn't stay to watch the fate of Shibuya, fleeing as soon as he possibly could. Eventually, he found a way to leave the world, using a new pathway that had been seemingly just left open by another; a Corridor of Darkness, which further cemented the Darkness in his heart. He didn't know who had attacked Shibuya that day, nor if it survived. However, he did know one thing. It was time for him to make a new life for himself... A life in this strange place. Traverse Town.

Other Notes: Almost always carries his scythe around, and in the open, however is generally out of the public eye. Usually will be seen using his most powerful scythe, unless specified.
