Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
She squealed like a small child being chased, her eyes widening with an even wider grin when she seen him. While Tsumiko didn't spend insane amounts of time in the water, she was a natural at it and swam with a fluent ease. In that sense, she seemed almost like a fish, and she really felt like one from time to time. Whenever she was in the water, she always found it a struggle to pull herself out, loving the feeling of the water against her skin.
And now that she was having a bit of good fun, she was happy she came on this second date. The songstress no longer had any doubt about the choice she made, mostly because her mind was being occupied with being chased... by a man with glowing eyes? Since when could he do that?! Since when was that even humanly possible? Tsumiko had herself wondering in a small corner of her mind. She remembered how on their first date, he had, what seemed to be, accidentally showed her a set of fangs. She didn't inquire further at that time, feeling as though the information would unveil itself in due time. But that didn't stop her from being curious about the matter.
With another childish squeak, she changed her direction, zipping off to the right and closer to the island. As it were, they were already pretty far into the deep blue, half way between the island and the mainland. No need to continue going in that direction. Though as she did, Tsumiko noticed with a laugh that the king had far more power behind his strokes. Her agile body wasn't quite able to out-swim him and he'd be upon her soon enough.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
It was an eventuality that Gwain would begin to catch up with the songstress. She was as natural as a dolphin or fish, but his strength was allowing him to easily close the distance and in time, he caught his date. Her having to switch directions allowed him to cut across the water at an angle, which only closed the distance faster and faster. When he was upon her, it was time to strike. The king jumped from his position, like an aquatic predator at play. He came upon her and grabbed Tsumiko by her waist. After doing so, he brought her up from the water and smirked at her.
"Caught you, my love... Hope you're ready for punishment!" Gwain said with a mockingly scary tone, as he started to vigorously tickle the woman. His fingers zipped every which way, between tickling the curvature of her sides, up to her armpits and even going up to her neck. The man didn't spare her one bit and would let her know, that a splash fight with him, meant war on a large scale. She was his prisoner now and he wasn't going to take it easy on her. "Was splashing the water in my face worth all of this, Tsu?" The king asked her with a taunting laugh, as he continued to assault her body with tickles.
Throughout all of this, Gwain was seriously having fun. Every problem and doubt he had up until then had literally been washed away. Being with the woman and sharing in the moments like these, were what he really enjoyed out of life. Though, he did enjoy a good brawl, where fists met fists and he was able to get up close and personal, but this was also very nice. This case of being up close and personal was just as fun as any fight, because it was with Tsumiko, the woman who's eyes he first met on Radiant Garden and the very same woman who he worked up the courage to ask out. The outside of Gwain's mind, he was laughing softly as he tickled the woman, a warm smile as he was lightly teasing her and having as much fun as he could.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
It wasn't long before he caught up to her. The Gwain's muscular body leaped out of the water, blocking out the sun for a short second before he tackled her. Looking up over she shoulder, he'd be able to see the wide eyes and even wider smile she had. Just before they ducked under the water, the songstress squeaked in a delighted surprise. Being grabbed around the waist, they sunk a bit into the water before resurfacing.
Tsumiko caught the smirk he wore, and her eyes widened at the mention of 'punishment'. If it weren't for the playful nature in which he said it, her mind would have taken it in a completely different direction. At the sensation of his fingers against her bare skin, the songstress burst out laughing. With them being in the water, and the king holing her by the waist, there wasn't much of anywhere the songstress could run.
“N-No!~ Aha ahaha! I-I'm sorry! I'm sorryyyy!~” she shook her head, laughing as the pleasant assault on her skin continued. "Pah-Please!~" Even though she was being held captive in his arms, Tsumiko still attempted to wiggle free of his grasp, kicking at the water and feebly pressing against Gwain's frame. With how much she was laughing, there wasn't much strength in her to successfully separate her from him.
It was a sad fact that Tsumiko couldn't even remember the last time someone tickled her, not that she was consciously thinking of the matter. The last time would have to have been when she lived with the elderly couple. The husband was always rather energetic for his age and played with the songstress quite frequently, as well as with his granddaughter. The two girls got along rather well. Perhaps it was Tsumiko's need to fill the void left by her sister's death, to feel that sense of sistership again.
With those days long gone, Tsumiko found something much better to fill that void. Love. Not just a familiar love, or that of friendship, but deep-seated, romantic love. Sure, she had only known the king for a short while, but in that time, she felt something she never thought she would. She thoroughly enjoyed it. While she still had a fear of causing him or his family some form of misfortune, she felt so at ease around him. Like there wasn't anything to worry about. Gwain acted much like the waves, washing away her worries.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
"What was that, Tsumiko? I couldn't hear you over all the waves!" Gwain joked as he continued to assault her skin with his finger tips. This was probably one of the most refreshing moments he added to his list, of things that he did with the songstress. The entire event was extremely reminiscent of when he first brought the twins to the beach, but it was a lot more adorable, considering the woman who he held tightly in his arms and tickled, was a woman he grew to deeply love. Sure, it was only a small amount of time in which they got to know each other just a bit, but all Tsumiko ever did was just hit marks and say all the right things. Plus, their dates have always had some type of different, fun aspect to them that allowed them to be a bit more memorable than traditional dates.
After a few moments of tickling the woman, Gwain stopped. The king had released his grip just a bit, but only did it, so that he could turn her body around and lift her up into the air. Once more, in a bid to show off his strength while also creating another adorable moment. He looked up deeply into her eyes, holding her outward and smiling wide. The sun would reflect off his crimson orbs and caused them to seem all that more tantalizing. Not only that, but his body still gleamed from the mixture of light and moisture that was on his body, from all the vigorous swimming and tickling. He tilted his head at her, his features softening.
That was a sign his mind wandered off a bit. Gwain remembered the first time he had fallen in love much like this. His first love, his fiancee, whom he were on a very special date with. Many years had passed since the incident, but he remembered it clearly and how it a ripped a terrible void in his chest. The man who was already a puckish rogue, became something much more... Sinister. A man with a vendetta against the world and everything it had become. From bad boy, to full-fledged villain, Gwain became a symbol of the Darkson's might after that day. He remembered his transgressions and they darkened his features a bit. However, the words of his fallen love had echoed throughout his mind. "Move on from me." Just like that, his face lightened, his smile brightened and his eyes gleamed ever the more brighter. The king wouldn't be bogged down by the past any longer. Not when he had a woman like Tsumiko to love and protect.
"Well then, Lady Tsu, did I do a good job with this date?" His voice asked, after his quick revisit to the past, yet it had the confidence and tone used to show that he was only concerned with her happiness at the moment. Gwain had just remembered that this was the same island where the Paopu Fruit originated from. The Destiny Islands. A name that seemed really cliche at first, but it was probably the most fitting of them all. No other name could even match up to convey just how true to the name this island was. The king had an idea that he knew she would love. His idea would be to go and find another fruit on the island. He wanted to gift one to her, so that she could always have it in remembrance of the time they spent on the island and the first date they had.

“I-I said I was s-sorry!~ M-Mercy! Merc~y!” Tsumiko yelled out between her laughs, wiggling about in the king's strong grip. There were small tears in her eyes from how hard she was laughing, though they were lost to the ocean. All of it had began to make her sides hurt, and she was a little short on breath. The songstress had never realized how ticklish she was until that point in time. Perhaps it was just the fact that she was to at ease around Gwain that letting her guard down enough to feel this wasn't a problem. Whatever it was, though, she didn't really care to know. Only that she enjoyed it to its fullest extent.
A short while later, the assault stopped and Tsumiko was allowed the chance t breath. The king's hold on her slackened and she found herself spinning in the water a little. With a small squeak of surprise, she was lifted out of the water and held high. Blinking, she looked down and into his crimson eyes. The smile he wore had an effect on her, however, and her surprise melted into a simplistic bliss. The light of the sun high above reflected off their skin, making it seem as though both were glowing in their happiness. Though as Tsumiko gazed at him, she noticed how his head tipped to the side and he seemed to have dived into thought.
In response, she also tipped her head to the side, wondering what it was that he was thinking. The songstress blinked with curiosity, she waited for some sort of response. It wasn't too long after that his soft features grew brighter and he smiled at her.
Leaning forward, she reached out her arms to hug him gently around the neck, a short giggle escaping her as she did. “I'm having such a great time. So I'd say you have done an excellent job, Sir Gwain.” She loosened her hug, floating back a little if the king allowed her to. She hadn't a clue that he may have been planning something, but the songstress would gladly follow him wherever. “Thank you,” she said in a soft tone.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
Gwain's heart swelled with happiness as he created another successful date so far. He released the young woman and swam to get close to her side. The man would point back towards the shore and smiled wide. There was something else he wanted to do, before heading off to find the fruit. Turning to look at her, his smile formed into a devious grin. Obviously he was planning something fun, but it was going to be something that was going to have them pitting the two of them in some sort of competition. That was the vibe he giving off anyways.
"Race you to the shore!" The man announced suddenly and much like an excited fish, dove into the water and started off with a brisk pace. They were far out into the ocean, thanks to the antics of the king and songstress from earlier, but that's what made it so much more fun. The man knew they'd have some distance to cover, but it wasn't too far and once they were out, they get to run along the sand some more. His plan was to not necessarily tire her out, but to get her heart pumping with sudden, spontaneous suggestions. He wanted to keep her on her toes.
Because of this, the man didn't want to take it easy on her, so he merely picked up his speed and swam faster. Gwain had hoped that she wasn't too far behind, because it would have made him feel bad for suddenly taking off. Though, something told him that the young woman enjoyed competitions just as much as he did. That what was going on now, was something she'd love to do and possibly beat him at. Since this time it was just a straight shot forward, the king realized that from how fast his date was able to swim earlier, she would more than likely be able to over take him during the final stretch. His thoughts excited him so much that whenever he tilted his head up for hair, he couldn't help but give teasing smirk.
"After this, I take her to the other side of the island, show her the tree and the fruit, then we can call it a day... Maybe hangout on the shore and watch the sunset or something. Either way, I just want to make sure she stays happy during all of this." He thought to himself, not even all that worried about whether or not he'd lose. Just being with Tsumiko and doing things like this, were perfect alternatives to what he had been doing before meeting her.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
Tsumiko looked up at the king with a bright smile as he released her and floated beside her. Soon after, he was pointing to shore with a wide, mischievous grins. The songstress cocked an eye brow as she looked between him and shore. She didn't know what he was planning, but she was expecting something. All of a sudden, Gwain proclaimed a challenge and was off like a bullet.
“H-Hey wait!~” she called out after him, following not too far behind with vigorous breast strokes. With the straight away, the songstress was able to keep pace with him, but not overpower him. Which was no good. No good at all. When the king increased his speed, Tsumiko smirked at took in a deep breath. Diving under the water's surface, she ended up shooting past him. That would show him, taking off so sudden doesn't pay in the end. Between the two of them, the water was her domain, and he had admitted defeat the moment he challenged her.
His plan to keep her actively thinking was working, her mind going as fast as her body. What was he up to? That was the question. There was quite a few things that they could do while here. Which gave the songstress an idea of her own. She wanted to take him somewhere she found rather amazing. After whatever he had planned, of course.
Breaching for some air, Tsumiko continued racing forward with a crawl. They were almost to shore, no need to bonk her head on the sand. Looking back for a quick moment, she looked at Gwain with a smirk of her own. She was having a lot of fun that day, and it showed easily. There was a part of her that wished these days would never end.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
It didn't take a genius like Gwain to realize the error in challenging the songstress to a race in the water. He felt himself the faster person, though, when he caught her the first time and ended up tickling her. This time around, however, the king felt something shoot right under him and beyond. Whatever it was, felt like a speeding bullet through the water and Gwain was in denial about the whole thing. Didn't want to think it was Tsumiko swimming her adorable little head off towards the shore. The revelation came true when he finally surfaced after feeling the water grow shallow. Surfacing up and standing on the seafloor, the crimson-eyed man looked up and saw the silver-blue haired beauty smirking at him.
"Fine, fine, you win this one!" He said with a rather happy laugh. Not missing a beat though, the man sped out the water, gently grabbed Tsumiko by the hand and started running along the shore with her. "Don't worry about our clothes, we'll come back for them... Or not, depends on how dangerous you're feeling." The man said with a low chuckle. The songstress would be able to tell that he was feeling quite energetic, even after losing their little swimming bout. Along the shore, the sun would gently shine upon them, but allowed Gwain to shield the woman from its rays since he was a bit taller than her. The entire time he wore a happy grin and headed around the island.
Suddenly stopping, ahead of the were a boardwalk that went towards a tinier island on the beach and it had a crooked tree hanging over the island's edge. Pointing forward, his grin would drop to a soft smile and he'd turn to face Tsumiko.
"There, that tree right there. I have to show you something." Gwain said to her softly, beginning to walk over to the ramp that would lead them to the boardwalk. "The real reason why I'm bringing you over here, is because of something really special... This island, in a way, is linked to you and I. Destiny Islands, is the name of this place and true to the name, this place has a way with connecting those close to each other." He explained softly as they walked, swinging hands gently with the songstress. "The Paopu Fruit originated on this island, from what I've read in the Radiant Garden library. Took a while to look through, but I was able to confirm where it was grown and it pointed me here so..." The man trailed off, blushing a bit. He stood in front of the woman and took her other hand into his. He brought them up to his lips, where he'd kiss them gingerly, looking into her eyes. "This is why I brought you here. I want to give you another fruit to take home. A little something to remember me by whenever we're apart." His crimson eyes brightened with happiness and he smiled warmly at her.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
As the king admitted to defeat, Tsumiko silently cheered to herself, a wide grin playing her lips with her arms raised high in the air. Her playful celebration was cut short, though, as Gwain took her hand and began running off. She blinked at him in surprise, wondering what it was that he was up to for a second time. At the mention of their clothes, the songstress looked over her shoulder real quick at the pile of fabric to ensure herself that it was all still there. While so few possessions, she had a knack for being concerned about what she did own. Hearing the last bit of the king's statement had her snapping her wide eyes at him, a deep blush on her cheeks. Dangerous? What would be dangerous? The chuckle he gave had her mind reeling in all the wrong ways, and her face flushed completely.
Trailing behind him, Tsumiko shook her head and quickened her pace so that she could walk beside Gwain. Looking up at him, she seen the happy grin he wore. Without even realizing it, a similar one appeared on her face, and she turned her head to look forward. Without any kind of hesitation, she laced her fingers between his and held his hand. Being in his presents brought a calm over her that she loved dearly. Even in the moments of sadness, or fear, or … competitive shenanigans, Gwain was there to boost her spirits and make her smile.
Happily following him to wherever she was being lead, Tsumiko soon found herself staring down the boardwalk connecting the main island to a smaller one. Following the line in which the king's hand pointed, she gazed upon a crooked tree that stood not too far off before looking up at the king. This grin faded to a soft smile as he looked at her. Referring to the tree, Tsumiko's own smile widened. She knew exactly what the tree meant to the people of the island, having been here several times before. The thought made her rather giddy as she listened to his tale. On the inside, she had giggled to herself. He went through all that trouble to give her a good time. While he could have just asked her, it was a sweet thought and a wonderful surprise. One that she was happy to receive.
As Gwain stood before her, gently kissing her fingertips, Tsumiko looked into his crimson eyes with a soft smile. “You are the sweetest person I've ever met, Gwain. To have someone put as much thought as you have into this one, fantastic day... It means so very much to me,” she said with a gentle, enthusiastic tone, gripping his hands slightly tighter and leaned forward. “Nothing would make me happier than to receive a gift from you, and I will cherish it always.”
Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
Gwain's eyes and face lit up with a bright happiness, as he leaned forward as well. Their foreheads were touching at this point and the man couldn't help but continue looking deeply into the songstress's eyes. A large grin took to his face, but soon faded when he closed his eyes and leaned in to give her a soft, tender kiss on the lips. The moment was short for the time being, only because he wanted to give her the gift desperately, but it would feel like it lasted for minutes at a time. When their lips parted, the man slightly tightened his grip on her hands, but soon released one and turned towards the boardwalk.
"Then let's get you that gift." He said with a good amount of confidence and started to lead her across the boardwalk. The man smiled wide, his mind deep into the positive thoughts of being with Tsumiko. He gave her brief glances, often blushing and chuckling nervously, like first loves in a high-school setting. Gwain still held that love at first sight feeling he had since their first date, but felt that it deepened greatly since then. The fact that he did go through all the effort just to create the perfect dates for her proved that. He also didn't realize, until the songstress had brought it up, but he really did go through a lot for this one day. A deeper blush appeared on his face, as he realized that he might have went a little overboard with it. Then again, his date did assure him that everything was to her liking either way. Another nervous chuckle escaped his lips as they crossed onto the smaller island.
Looking towards the tree, the two would be able to see the familiar star-shaped, yellow-fruit, that bound their destinies to one another some time ago. The man gently let go of her hand and walked towards the base of the tree. Smiling, he felt the shade from the leaves, followed by the soothing, salty-sea breeze. The king turned towards Tsumiko, giving her a big grin. His crimson-red eyes would glisten for a moment, before he turned his back to her and started to scale the tree. Due to it being slanted, the man only had to worry about keeping his balance on it. He was good at that, mostly, but often wobbled here and there. Gwain exceptionally worried about falling into the drink below and embarrassing himself in front Tsu. A thought like that pushed him to concentrate better and in little to no time at all, the man was standing directly under the palm-tree leaves and the Paopu Fruits.
"Watch me, Tsumiko, watch as I.... Hopefully don't fall." The ma thought to himself and gave off a nervous laughter, that the songstress would be able to hear depending on where she stood. Gwain reached up and thankfully, with his height, was able to grip the fruit without much problem. He was even strong enough to pull the thing down without much trouble. Pivoting on his heel, the king revealed the Paopu Fruit to Tsumiko and gave her a big grin. "Got it! Now let's see if I can make it back to you!" Gwain said with a bit of playful laughter, as he started balancing himself back over. Occasionally, he'd tease at the songstress by pretending he were about to fall at some points. However, he'd easily catch his balance and give her a teasing wink. Eventually, the man would have landed back on the tiny island and held the fruit in his hands, smiling widely to her.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
Tsumiko smiled up at the king as their foreheads touched together. For a moment, they stared into each others' eyes before a wide grin formed on Gwain's face. She blinked at him, her eyes widening when his lips touched softly against hers. It was short, but pleasant and tender, spreading a deep flush across her face. She was left speechless yet giddy as the king released one of her hands and continued down the boardwalk. Looking up at him, Tsumiko flashed him a bashful, beaming grin as she nodded.
With a laugh that eased her nervous tension, Tsumiko leaned into his arm as they walked, hugging it to her body as she did earlier. She put some of her weight into it, but not enough to throw him off balance. There was just all of this happy energy that she didn't know what to do with. It was exciting, yet nerve-wracking. Just thinking about him was enough to send her into a childish elation. His nervous chuckling had her giggling with that same elation. It seemed that she wasn't the only one with butterflies in their stomach.
The songstress followed his gaze to the crooked palm tree that hung over the edge of the small island and the water. Near its leaves, a familiar star-shaped fruit could be seen. Feeling Gwain's hand leave her own, she turned her gaze towards him and watched as he walked over to the tree. She followed behind him slowly, lacing her hands behind her as she approached him. A light breeze blew past her, tussling the long silver-blue side pony she was wearing and she returned the grin that the king gave her.
“Be careful, alright?” she called to him as he started to scale the tree trunk. “Don't want to falling off and getting hurt,” she added with a playful tease to her words. She walked beside him as he traversed the length of the tree, looking up at him as he did to spot him. He was a little shaky to start out but soon after caught and steadied himself. She followed him as far as she could, teetering on the edge of the small island as she watched him with an eager smile, bobbing back and forth on her heels as she did. It didn't take him too long before he was standing before the Paopu Fruits, claiming one as his. It was faint, but Tsumiko made out a quiet, nervous laughter.
Turning on a heel, Gwain began to return. Along the way, if he looked, he'd get a grand view of the songstress' bust from his height. Not entirely realizing this, she motioned for him to hurry back. Though on his way, the king playfully teased, acting as if her were going to fall every so often. At first, Tsumiko thought that he was indeed about to fall, but quickly caught on to the jest and grinned at him with a warning shake of the head as he winked at her. She was half tempted to push him and teach him a lesson. Teasing wasn't nice.
When he was safely on the ground, Tsumiko was right by side side, grinning up at him, still shaking her head. Her grinned widened as she did, and she was soon laughing. “Don't scare me like that. I was worried you might actually fall,” she said, tapping a gentle fist into Gwain's arm. “Next time, I'll push you in. No mercy,” she'd say as she stuck her tongue out at him.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
During his way back, Gwain had noticed something rather glorious for his efforts. There was the welcoming, grand view of Tsumiko's bust. Two, wonderful mountains that peaked the pinnacle of womanly development. The soft, pale skin that was Tsu's complexion had tantalized the king, causing him to stare for but a fleeting moment. How could he not? The woman was only wearing a simple, two-piece bathing suit that he absolutely adored seeing her in. She was beautiful with any amount of clothing, but when her bust was so clearly seen, he couldn't help but blush redder than any kind of tomato. His moment of staring was only a few seconds, but to him, it was a moment of accomplishment. Not wanting to be caught being a perv, the man quickly shot his eyes up and met the silver-blue of his date. Gwain's own red orbs had flashed with a certain... Enticing glow. Eventually, he hopped down onto the land and was greeted by an amused, yet disapproving songstress.
"I will make sure that I will not tease you again!"The king couldn't help but let out an amused chuckle after the word and had crossed his fingers in his own head.. Looking down towards the songstress, Gwain loved the way how she cared for him, yet hid it beneath that very spunky attitude of hers. When she threatened to really push him in with no mercy, there was something about her tone and the words she used, that made the man shiver in delight. Nonetheless, he shook away that sudden, provocative feeling and merely handed the fruit to Tsumiko, after she jabbed him lightly in the arm. The way how he held it out was very child-like. He looked like a young child handing a crude, yet adorable drawing to a crush along his same age and even complimented the look with the grin and light bounce in his step.
"My lovely queen, I offer this Paopu Fruit, to you. May our destinies forever stay intertwined and may we spend even more happier days like these, with each other. I love you, Tsu." Gwain said softly and with an extremely loving tone. This was still their second date and if Tsumiko spotted it, she'd be able to see that hint of nervousness in his eyes and the way how his arms shook, when he held out the fruit to her. The king tried to hide this fact with a soft chuckle of his own, masking it as him honestly trying to remain calm and collected. However, just being in the songstress' presence was enough to crack him and get him to do all sorts of embarrassing things.

Looking up at him, she cocked a brow at him, flashing him an amused grin. The look he had in his eye was attractive, had her gazing into his red orbs for a short while. It wasn't until Gwain offered to her the star fruit in his hands that she looked away. The way he held it out to her was rather adorable, and made the charming, mature air of the king falter for a short moment. He even had a slight bounce to himself, coupled with a grin. Tsumiko could very easily imagine him as a child, or perhaps even in his early teens. The thought brought a small blush to her cheeks.
Mentally shaking it away, she reached out to take it from him. His chivalry returned when he spoke, returning the songstress' to a more stable train of thought. It didn't stop the blush to her face from deepening, however. She felt at peace when she was with him, and yet, oh so very nervous. She wanted to impress him, and feared making a fool of herself. Pulling the Paopu to her nose, she breathed in with her eyes closed and was reminded of the scent and the memories that came with it. A smile appeared on her lips and she opened her eyes to look at Gwain. “I love you too, Gwain,” she said in an equally loving tone. Though they were gone now, she knew her parents would want her to be happy. Dwelling on the sadness of the past was no way to live. That was something she'd have to accept. And with her king at her side, it no longer seemed impossible, as it had before.
Holding the fruit close to her chest, she giggled. “I will cherish it always,” she said in a tender tone, looking deep into his eyes. “But are you ready for my surprise, now?” She twisted to the side in a playfully bashful way, tipping her body to one side. There was a grin on her face that was a mix of nerves and excitement. Holding the Paopu Fruit to her chest with one hand, she reached to other out to him. It was her turn to lead the way.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
The king was exceptionally happy when Tsumiko accepted the Paopu Fruit and felt as if he had done the date perfectly. He honestly hadn't planned it out all the way and simply went off of his instinct, but he did plan the beginning and end. A day on the beach with the gorgeous woman and giving her the fruit that symbolized their love for one another. The idea was perfect and so, he allowed everything else fall in-between. Gwain was glad he did everything like this too, because had everything been planned down to the very detail, he believed it wouldn't have been as enjoyable. Then again, when he was the songstress, everything felt enjoyable regardless of what was going on.
"I am indeed ready for your surprise now, Tsu." He said with a wide grin and walked over to her, accepting her held out hand. The king wondered where she was going to lead him and what sort of surprise it was. The way how she did things were rather adorable, seeing as on their first date, she excitedly took them out in the rain and danced with him in the fountain. Radiant Garden was where he was introduced to the more tender side of the woman. Rather, it was probably most of the songstress' sides that he were introduced to in that one day and place. Gwain, taking into considering just how adorable she could get, was now even more excited for what their surprise could be.
Walking alongside Tsumiko, the crimson-eyed man couldn't help but smile. He walked closely to her, but not close to the point of where it was hard for her to keep her balance. Their shoulders touched occasionally, rubbing against each other and delivering a welcoming shock that would warm the both of them. Secretly, that was the king utilizing his ability to control his own bodily electricity, to stimulate both he and Tsu whenever they touched. It was meant to be playful and to tickle the young woman. Also to keep her guessing as to what caused the whole feeling.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
When the king slipped his hand into her, Tsumiko was all smiles. All she wanted to do was take him and run the whole way there, but after calming herself with a silent breath she began leading Gwain away. She felt like an excited child, as she usually did in the man's presence. With a quiet giggle, she placed other other hand over top the ones they already had intertwined and softly bumped into him as they walked back across the board walk. When she did, there was a gentle tingle that ran up her arm and made her shiver slightly. It tickled, and the songstress took a sly look up at him, a wide grin on her face.
Any time she brushed against him, the feeling of a gentle shock took hold of her. Turning her eyes forward once again, her mind mulled over what it could be. Her first thought that that the king, as corny as it sounded, just had an electric personality. Or she just responded to his touch as such... No, that was weird, even in her head. Let's see... Was it a- No, there was no fabric in which to create static.
Opening the door to the little shack, Tsumiko gazed up at her date again, masking her churning mind with a pleasant smile. In their ears, they'd hear the sound of cascading water. To their right was the waterfall that supplied fresh water to the small island. How and where it came from had always been a mystery, but it was very pure and delicious... for being water, at any rate. Just past it, the songstress stopped and turned her body to face Gwain's. For now, she'd drop her musings of the tingling in her arm. After reaching out, she softly swung his hand with one of hers, the excited smile on her lips reminiscent of a small child.
“Someone told me about this place a long time ago. The children here call it the 'secret place' and I had the pleasure of being shown this secret. It's not as sentimental as, well...” she motioned to the Paopu Fruit in her other hand with an endearing smile. “...but I believe it to be beautiful all the same.”
With that, she parted the vines hiding the entrance and stepped inside. At first, it seemed like a bare, empty tunnel that winded into the depths of the island. Vines and roots sprouted from the earthen walls, and a musty scent filled the air alongside that of the salty ocean. It was dim, the only light source being that of the outside behind them, and the singular source in the cave that presented itself to them. The natural skylight in the ceiling of the cave cast the bright midday light upon the inside. As with the tunnel, vines and roots grew among the earth and, in addition, the rocks and boulders. The walls, also made of stone, were scribbled on with primitive drawings and childish stories. The children of the island had decorated the entire inside as far as their arms could reach.
Letting go of Gwain's hand, the songstress stepped further into the cavern, gazing at the many scribbles on the walls. They told stories to her, an adventure of life far off and away from the tranquil life the islands provided. For some, this would have been a haven from all the sadness that pressed down on the hearts of others on other worlds. For others, it was too simplistic, too peaceful. The curious minds of children would be one such case. The universe was big. They had a right to wonder what was out there.
“So... what do you think?” Tsumiko asked, turning her silver-blue eyes upon the king. She hid the small, excited smile on her lips behind the fruit in her hands, teetering back and forth on her feet as she looked at him.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
While they walked and bumped into each other rather playfully, the king couldn't help but give away that it was him causing the shocks. His cheerful grin, while it was focused on the happiness being shared between he and Tsumiko, it was also attributed to the fact she gave off rather adorable responses when shocked. Of course, it was all in good fun and the man let out a quiet chuckle due to the fact.
Gwain happily followed alongside his date to a shack that was situated on the island. The man looked down at the songstress when she peered up at him. Her smile was oh so gorgeous and it always warmed up his heart to see it. Where they were, the ebony-haired man didn't even know was apart of the island, though, it were a pretty big island. The sound of a waterfall filled his ears and he gazed upon the scenery. His mind drifted to how beautiful everything looked and if this were the surprise that he was meant to see. Her adorable display which consisted of her stopping in front of him and swaying their hand back in forth made him believe that this was indeed the spot she wanted to show to him. Gwain listened, though, before he jumped to any conclusions.
"Nonsense, Tsu. I believe anything you show me, will be just as beautiful, if not more than the fruit I've given you." He spoke confidently and wanted to reassure the woman that everything was fine and perfect. That she didn't need to dwell so much on the magnitude of her gift, only that all she needed to do was show it to him justly. They took off in that moment, parting vines and traversing a path which lead into a tunnel of some sorts.
A natural cave it seems was what they were in, seeing as the lighting from the ceiling flowed into the room sweetly. After they departed hands, the two walked among the earthy ground and looked upon the walls of the cave. Children's drawings were depicted and caused the man to think about children of his own. A soft smile came to his lips and got down on one knee to reach out with a hand and touch lightly upon the little works of art. The sentiment behind it made the king wonder. Who made those drawings and what did it mean to the songstress? Two questions that he'd ask later, but for now, he had to enjoy the simplicity of everything. The man had the thought of moving to the islands, but wondered if he could leave behind the life of being a king, to enjoy the simple life. He couldn't fathom it. When beckoned by Tsumiko, Gwain turned his head up to her and found her gorgeous smile once more. The man's crimson eyes glistened happily, given her answer on a more emotional level.
"It's adorable. Perfect and adorable, just like you, Tsumiko. I love it very much, thank you. I know you said it was a secret place, so you showing it to me is rather nice of you." He stated, standing back up on his feet and tilting his head to her. His warm smile remained and started grinning. Gwain's happiness welled up in his chest and stomach, giving him the urge to just tackle the woman and hug her tightly. The man contained himself, however, and just let his grin show her how happy he was to be with her in that cave. Everything had went perfect on their second date.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
There was a serene energy that seemed to emanate from the cave, seemingly cut off from the fun, carefree vibe the sunny beach gave off, and it affected Tsumiko thoroughly. Her happy, childish energy from earlier practically melted away at the sight of the king kneeling before the drawings, leaving behind only a distant smile on her lips. His words brought a light giggle out, and a gentle blush to her cheeks. Tsumiko stopped her teetering to take slow, deliberate steps towards him. To some, it would have appeared as though she were being shy in the way she looked an acted, and in a way, she was. It was mainly just her enjoying the simple happiness of the moment between her and Gwain.
“They call it the Secret Place because it's hard to find unless shown the way. In a way... it's kind of like you and me. You showed me the way to a different kind of secret place, and I found a happiness inside...” her words were thoughtful, and the bashful look on her face deepened. As she stopped to stand before the man, her hands moved to fold neatly over her chest. “It's warm, and yet fills my whole body with fluttering butterflies. It tickles, and... brings a light to all the parts of me that have been cast in shadow for so long. I never want this feeling to fade.”
She looked at him with a shy smile, her silver-blue eyes glimmering with the same happiness Gwain's did. Reaching out at first with hesitant hands, Tsumiko hugged him tight around his midsection, nuzzling her head into his chest to hide her blushing face. “Thank you,” she said softly. Though she had to wonder to herself as to why she was being so shy all of a sudden. It's not like she hadn't already opened herself up to him and exposed the not-so-pretty sides already. She was just thankful it hadn't scared him away.

Re: The Price is a Second Date (Tsumiko, PM to join)
He was deeply interested in the childish drawings for some reason or other, but his thoughts drifted over to the woman who had taken out on this day. Gwain stood to his feet at the sound of her approaching and turned to face her. There was a smile that showed the utmost of care and love for the songstress. Her words were spoken so sincerely, that it made the man blush rather brightly, seeing as all he did was simply help her out of a slump. He didn't think that he had such an impact on her like that, but the king was glad he managed to find her when he did.
"Much like you, Tsumiko, I find myself feeling the same kind of butterflies and warmth, that travels throughout the entirety of my body. It's..." Gwain trailed off for a moment, trying to piece together the right words for what he wanted to say next. He too, knew a sadness that was probably minuscule to what Tsu might have felt during her life, but he knew it nonetheless and could relate to her. Because of this, he had to choose his words carefully, so that he doesn't come off as foolish to the young woman. "Perfect. Oh so very perfect, that I too, don't want it to fade." The crimson eyed man said with a confident, sincere tone.
When he looked down and spotted that shy smile of hers, Gwain chuckled and tilted his own at her. He watched as her hands went towards him and just like that, they were in an embrace. The man had one arm around her waist and the other that gently caressed her head. The king gave her gorgeous locks of silver-blue hair a gentle stroke, as he enjoyed her cuddling into his chest. Not wanting to embarrass or tease her for the sake of the moment, the ebony-haired male simply smiled wide and leaned down a bit to kiss the top of her head. The songstress was so adorable and her happiness was something he'd protect dearly. Even at the cost of his own life, he'd make sure to protect that precious smile of hers.
"No need to thank me, Tsu... I'd do anything for you." His voice came in softly. He held her closer to him and tighter too. The man wouldn't lose her to anything.
Afterwards, the king decided that it was best that they head back to Radiant Garden. The date here had pretty much ended, since they showed each other both of their surprises. However, for Gwain, he had one more plan up his sleeve, so it worked out well with everything. While he walked with Tsumiko out of the secret place and back onto the island, he'd head with her to his ship. Along the way, he expressed that he was taking her back to that little restaurant where they had their first date. His proposal was that they both handle the opposites of the foods that they didn't have a strong point for. In this case, Gwain spoke of the volcano ice-cream and the yellow electrifying ice-cream that they had before. A wide grin appeared on his face and he had hoped she was all for a bit of an extension for their date. After all, it was in the world that she lived in, so he figured that she more than likely would love to have some food as the ending to their date...
