Size: Each sword is 64 inches long. The guard is 10 inches wide, the blade is 5 inches wide, and about 2 inches thick. The swords have a locking mechanism to form a single sword.

These swords were forged in the royal armory on his homeland of Vunetra. It at first seems like a normal steel buster style blade, but it has a core of what the Vunetrian's call Soul Metal. Soul Metal can take on the elemental properties of its user's affinity. They usually test children with a rod at a young age to see what affinities they have. Kai had both Fire and Lightning, so they forged him a pair of swords that could wield both when combined, or just one when separated. He's carried this sword with him everywhere he goes, and rarely every splits it - however when he does he usually only uses one element, although he has a few attacks where he switches sword mid-attack. Since the swords are heavy he can only accurately wield one at a time.
