Ignite
Ability Name: (Ignite)
Ability Type: (Debuff)
Ability Cost: (10 MP per contact point)
Ability Cooldown: (5 posts)
Ability Element: (Fire)
Ability Description: (When Serenae makes physical contact with another character while this ability is active they become affected by Serenae's Ignite debuff. Serenae can toggle this ability on and off at will. This spell affects all characters that touch her, her armor, her clothing, or her weapons, either physically or with their own weapons and armor. While activated, Serenae ignites all characters that touch her, de-buffing them. Each stack of Ignite causes a long tendril of fire to snake around the victim. This is felt by them as though they touched a hot stove burner for several inches around wherever a tendril is made. This spell lowers the Speed and Agility of those affected slightly per stack, with each stack increasing slightly in potency, stacking up to 10 times. 10 stacks equals out to a severe debuff. While ignited, characters suffer from heavy lethargy and consistently feel as if they're overheating and dehydrating, causing them to sweat profusely.)

Re: Ignite
Denied
Lowering someone by two tiers in multiple attributes is not happening literally the mp amount would be higher then two thousand
This is definitely a tier five skill tree case
It would simply cost to much in abilities
Not happening

Re: Ignite
I based the costs around this.
https://miragehearts.rpg-board.net/t808-slow-down
That's potentially 2.5 stat tiers in two stats for for 110 MP, which divides out to 55 MP per stat. This character also only has t4 mag whereas mine is t5. That would be roughly 220 MP for 4 stats, and I bumped the cost up to 300 to compensate for the longer duration my effect lasts.

Re: Ignite
Your using fire that element for that was space both are using two completely different methods for going about it where as magic isn't really the major article in this case it's the element
This is still denied

Re: Ignite
I'm not using Moon as an element for this effect.. I'm exhausting them by overheating them using Fire magic.
What changes have to be made for this to fall within an acceptable cost range? Reduce it to two stats? Suggestions would be helpful.

Re: Ignite
Even overheating them I'm not entirely sure how that's going to work considering that wouldn't really affect them just tire them out
Each tier does not increase at a standard rate they have large jumps between one another. Especially between tiers three, four, and five
If you want this acceptable I don't see you taking out all the physical stats if anything it'll simply make them tired
Even then you'd simply only be affect their endurance in that case
The higher the endurance the easier a character could walk through horrible weather conditions
For example a t5 could easily walk through a negative 30 snowstorm or an active volcano the heat not bothering them
All I see overheat effecting is their endurance and even at that depending on the endurance it may not do much

If your body overheats it can cause many different symptoms spanning from profuse sweating, dehydration, headache, nausea, heat stroke, lethargy, rashes, fainting.. If anything it makes the most sense that Endurance would be the LEAST affected by something like this. I could change the way it works to causing physical issues, but I can't do that because of the way the mechanics on site work. I can't physically alter them until I've already KO'd them. That led me to stat debuffs along the route of lethargy instead, as that doesn't physically modify them.

So then because the one above is double gravity, in theory someone with a high amount of strength could easily resist the increased gravity effect then and ignore the effect completely? And it's half because 1/2 is the reciprocal of 2/1?

Re: Ignite
To first your first point yes that would be the case
For normal people we are a fantasy site of were doing this from a purely competitive standpoint of the site you don't even ever have to bleed from any attack unless you feel as though you should
Once again this how the site operates the Endurance is what operates off of that.
Once again I'm not saying you can't stay debuff but what your asking for is currently is over the thousands hence why you are being denied
No matter how high your stat increase that doesn't change your weight if you aren't five hundred pounds and can't balance out that then you'll still be affected by the gravity suddenly changing on you. Regardless of your strength.
If you want tone this down to less I have no problem looking at it again however as it currently stands this is not getting approved

Re: Ignite
Which is why I was asking what you wanted me to do to tone it down, rather than immediately denying it. The point about people not having to suffer physically was exactly my point in my last post; that's why I can't just say you start vomiting profusely.

Re: Ignite
Since you've been waiting a while, taking this over.
What happens if somebody is T2 or below?
Raise it to 500MP or reduce it to one tier for two stats or two tiers on stat.

Re: Ignite
It would reduce their stats to as low as is possible for a tier 1.

100% / 5 = 20%. 40% is equivalent to reducing a tier 5 stat by 2 tiers. Reduces effectiveness of the spell vs lower tiers, however.

Re: Ignite
I would highly recommend not using percentages. The update establishes that no ability, skill, or anything other than a drive form can decrease or increase a stat by an entire tier. Using percentages and scaling as a work around is not an exception.

Re: Ignite
"While activated, Serenae ignites all characters that touch her, harshly de-buffing them." This contradicts the slight debuff later on.
This would need a cost.
