Richard Clyde Empty Richard Clyde

Post by Capricorn Fri Aug 07, 2015 5:42 am

Name: Richard Clyde
Age: 36
Species: Somebody

Primary Elements
1.) Light
2.) Ice
3.) Fire
4.) Lightning

Personality: Richard is a smart man, easy going, and likeable. Towards women he could be defined as " a rare catch"-- and he's even rich. But persuasion is a speciality, not just a trait. Richard is not an average Joe in his line of work, he's a conman. He looks for the easy way out of things and that usually ends in his coworkers or opposition mysteriously ending up in a trunk at the bottom of a lake. It's just good business. Right?

Appearance:
Richard Clyde LargeAnimePaperscans_Viewfinder_pin-1

History:
Richard Clyde is an upstart. A rags to riches story about a man who took a dying company and turned it into a multimillionaire industry. Thanks to him his adopted nephew grew to be a strategic young man. Richard even threw a few ladies in his boy's direction. If there was ever a cool uncle Richard would have a blue ribbon.
However-- he is not all good and glorious. Richard raised a villain. Pphe plotted to murder his brother. And conned his way into the boss man's chair. His darker ego; one that I never seen makes him out to be an even eviller character than Capricorn. Because of all his mercenary connections and top of the line tactical equipment. He's able to play guns with the big boys. Even without having any magical prowess of his own.

Other Notes:
Capricorn's guardian since age nine.

Skill trees must be separate from party member character sheets. They go through their own approval process now. Also, he has to have a heart element.

Why? He doesn't really use any magic. I don't think I read anywhere that we were required to have them on party members.

It's not about using magic. It needs to have a Heart Element. Heart Element determines which of the two forces available to Somebodies that they most resonate with and in one of those cases grants a slew of passive abilities. Moreover, since everybody has a Heart and either Light or Darkness is more present in a Heart people have detection abilities centered around seeing those Elements, and even abilities that require those elements to take effect. Partner Characters can also easily be made into Main Characters, and as such are required to have a Heart Element.

Also, doesn't really use any magic is not equivalent to not using any magic. Even if it were, reference this point:

I will have to inform you that usually when staff comes across a situation they aren't familiar with, such as this one and especially when its an intern they usually ask directly for my input. While some times there is miscommunication, this is not one of those times. It should also be noted that you do not need elemental proficiency to use magic, but having makes using those elements a more efficient practice as well as granting a minor passive damage resistance against those same elements.
