Notable Information:
This weapon is forged from a rare and difficult to obtain material called Nethicite. It is not metallic in Nature, and thus does not corrode as metals do. In fact, the mysterious material, much like Gold, is completely non-reactive to all methods of corrosion. The weapon's anti-magic properties are also due to this material.

Enchants / Abilities
- Magical Disruption- If Hayden strikes an opponent with this weapon, the next spell they cast will backfire. This only occurs every three hits with the blade, as it must build up energy by attacking beforehand.
- Magical Absorption- Blade's Legacy can absorb and store one spell cast inside of itself. This ability will become that spell, and this weapon will be able to use it for the duration of the topic or until this weapon runs out of charges. If the topics ends and the charges have not been fully expended: Hayden can then use that spell and install it permanently on a Synthesis Weapon he makes. The maximum unmodified cost of a spell he can store is 450 MP.
- Undying Vessel- The holder of this blade passively heals themselves moderately each post.
- Unyielding Force- The holder of this weapon experiences a cool down reduction of one once every other post
- From the Shadow- Shoving this blade into a person's shadow will render them completely immobile. The shadow will become attached to the one who casts it through the blade's enchantment, holding them in place regardless of what they are doing.

Magical disruption seems more of a misplaced skill tree ability please edit it.

As Magic absorption is being discussed in the other tree, I'll ask about Magical Disruption.
So, the intention for this weapon would be anti-mage, as can be demonstrated from the various abilities and other weapon that you've seen. I would like to find a way that I can inflict something nasty to a magic user on hit, and magical backfire was the first thing that came to mind. Do you have any suggestions in lieu of this, or perhaps a way to make the ability itself more acceptable?

I would say more or less it needs a chance of fail to every strike and then a backfire seems unfair at the least it would need a post charge up again like it has a special swing that would cause backfire

Varying off of the post charge, could it be that it only cause the backfire to occur once every two/three hits instead? It could be that it has to "charge up" from hitting somebody.
