SOL-44 [INVITE ONLY] - Page 2 Empty Re: SOL-44 [INVITE ONLY]

As soon as the kid opened his mouth, Zulu sighed. If he wants to complain all day, then fine, but if he didn't become useful within the next five minutes, the cyborg was going to leave him in this ship. Zulu repositioned himself, his back to the corner of his seat, leg crossed on top of the other, and head resting on a knuckle propped on the arm of his chair while his other arm casually draped over the back of his chair. He didn't seem worried at all, and if the kid looked around, neither did his comrades, with Rose lazily eating an apple and Nastasha simply observing.

Silently, Zulu recorded everything the kid said. It would be useful if this Weiss character decided to tango with him in the future. He didn't much care for the guy if he had anything against him. He'd just be another fly floating around a carcass. Whether the kid was truly older than he say he is, Zulu didn't care either, although he did chuckle when that was brought up. As if seniority of birth had any weight in this.

Suddenly, things took a turn when the kid, strangely, became fascinated by something about one of the people in the ship being another heartless. For having personally witnessed a heartless extending from Zulu during the interrogation of the station they were just in, why would he be surprised?

Speaking of heartless...

Zulu stood up and approached the front, ignoring the kid. Hands clasped behind his back, Zulu observed the vain attempts at breaching the event horizon. "Tsk tsk. All this power and they can't even breach a thin shield. Then again, I have you to thank for that, Rose."

The compliment also made her choke on her apple. "Where did that come from?"

"I just looked back at the days when--" Zulu stopped himself, glancing back at their passenger. "Well. You know what I'm talking about."

Casually, he turned to Nastasha. "I assume you know the coordinates to SOL-65?"

Nastasha nodded. "Of course. One of my former crew mates got married there after he took one too many shots in a drinking contest."

"Heh. Wouldn't be surprised if he and Felicity would get along well then. Alright, think you can pull us out of here?"

"Yes, of course. But first, I need to excuse myself for a little bit."

"Don't take too long."

Nodding to Zulu, Nastasha walked out of the bridge to take care of some personal business. Meanwhile, Zulu returned to his seat and watched as the large heartless prepared to fire. Zulu raised his arm, holding out five fingers. Then slowly, he curled his thumb in, then his pinky, then the ring finger, middle finger, and when the index was curled in, everything suddenly vanished when a white curtain of what looked like snow and ice, enveloped the outside.

"And just like that, we're in SOL-65! Thank you for flying with us!" Rose cheered from her seat.

The white curtain disappeared, revealing the station, SOL-65. Soon, Nastasha came back with a smile on her face. "Here we are. If you are going to the station now, let me bring us to dock." She walked over to her console and brought the ship in to the docks. Nastasha made sure to only bring the ship, its cargo, and the people in them, and not a single particle more. The white curtain she put up was to blind any onlookers as they made their escape, like how a magician would to hide his technique.

Occam was worried that the nonchalance of the crew might blind them from the dangers ahead if they were to cross Weiss again. Of course, if they didn't get out of their soon the massive heartless-ship would surely take them down. Thankfully, Zulu had them vanish and re-appear exactly where Occam needed to be. Or where he said he needed to be. "Thank-you for escorting me. Now, Hek and I must make our leave. Weiss will surely have kept a lock on this ship's coordinates so unless this is your only one I'd dump it somewhere to lure him. I bid you all farewell and I hope that we don't have to cross paths again." All of a sudden, the silver eyes Occam had turned gold and his composure became much more worried and anxious. "And uh, I apologize, er, deeply for the intrusion. Now, c-come along Hek." He touched Hek and suddenly the figure vanished.

D10 waved at the trio before vanishing himself, however he simply turned invisible, staring at the crew and observing them before causing himself to warp out of the ship. He warped to where he placed Hek, grabbing him and dragging him onto another ship that was much larger and stowing away. D10 wanted to learn more about the crew they were with, but he didn't know how they would react to his technology. Regardless, he was afraid of Weiss now being an imminent threat to himself, especially after he was angered. It was about time he awakened D5, but it had been so long since he had been home. Hek was still acting strangely like after he slaughtered the whole security crew, which put D10 in an uncomfortable position as he caught the figure just looking at him at times.

The Isoloid wondered how skewed or misinformed the crew's first impression was since they had such an awful way of meeting. Hopefully if they were to ever encounter each-other again that they would not be hostile, but he'd have a way with dealing with that. For now, they just needed to hitch a ride, hack the systems of another ship and hitch a ride to SOL-56, the actual outpost he needed to be at. "Hek, I'm going to go into sleep mode...would you mind clearing the crew out while I sleep?" Hek slowly nodded, taking the trident and disappearing into the corridors of the ship. Before falling asleep, D10 could hear screams from afar. His eyes dimmed out and he closed them, falling asleep.

He'd simply sleep until Hek had finished, restoring himself with his ISO powers.

Unbelievable. Just like that, they just left without a form of compensation. Normally, that wouldn't do, but it just didn't seem worth the trouble. Besides...

"You did get a sample for us, didn't you?" Zulu asked Nastasha, who kept her smiling visage throughout.

"Of course. The specimens are in stasis pods 3, 12, and 15."

"Planning to do anything special with those things?"

Zulu chuckled and shook his head. Of course, why else would he bother collecting samples? This... this will surely bolster their strength as a simple detachment. Not only that, but perhaps his business partner would take interest in these. No, he'll have preliminary tests done in a separate foundation. After all, even if he was already hired, there was nothing about giving all new acquisitions to the employer immediately.

"Let's mobilize. The sooner we get to the outpost, the sooner our men can do their jobs."

"What about our new enemy?"

"He's no threat. Just a fool who thinks power is top priority. We'll keep him alive for now. He might have his uses."

"What about that kid?"

At the mention of their passenger, Nyx crept out of her host's body and took a blackened, featureless form in the image of a woman. They cannot be left alone. They don't know much about our operations, but their abilities may prove to be an annoyance."

"Leave them be for now. If we meet them again, then we'll set aside a crew to monitor their movements. But for now, I'd rather they not get too close to us." Zulu looked at the failed clone, standing still like a dumb rock. "Rose. I want the copy analyzed. Find out what you can."

"Roger that."

Once everything was settled, the quartet left the station, not bothering to look around. They traveled quite a fair distance before Nastasha warped them out and into an isolated location where a lone outpost was waiting for their arrival.
