A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
Cipher wakes up still in the tube still with the same clothes he had on when his father pushed him into it with, he looked around to see that the glass was cracked and chipped all around "What am i doing here? What is this place and why does it look so scary?" he asked himself as he got to his feet and tapped on the glass causing it to shatter (Cipher does not like this at all.) he thought to himself stepping over the glass the best he can.
He looks around the lab looking for a light switch so it isn't too dark (Were is the lamp or something?) he wondered as he moved some papers around but still no lights. as he continued to look around he found a mirror and stopped to look at himself (This is really small for me, I need to find new clothes.) he told himself as he strips over an open suite case with lab coats inside. Cipher puts on a lab coat and heads for a door he thinks leads out of the lab.
When Cipher opens the door it takes him to outside into a lifeless town that looks like it was put in a deep sleep or something. "Hello is anyone here am a bit lost!" he shouts when he hears a sound come from behind him "Hello is someone there?" he asks when he sees yellow lights move towards him really fast.

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
A single flick and the lighter blazed with a steady flame. A red and black lighter, which sported white flames, to be more exact. The young man hovered a stogie over it and lit it up. One simple drag was taken from and he pulled out that cellphone of his to begin going over the mission details for the day. Several things to do on the list, but since his current location was in the peaceful radiance of well, Radiant Garden, Luke decided that it'd be best to just start there. After an exhale of tobacco, the cigarette was slipped between the fingers of his unoccupied hand and his sharp eyes scanned over what was in front of him.
"Alright, so whaddya we got here? The Nest says there's some dark, possibly illegal surrounding a certain scientist... Heartless related? Yeah, reports showed that someone was being carried off by them some time ago... Guess here's a better start than any." His thoughts came in parts and pieces, but were cohesive for anyone who decided to read his mind. Steady, careful steps traveled in the direction of his destination. The man who wore a simple black blazer, with a button-down shirt, coupled with a black business tie, a pair of slacks, and what appeared to be an expensive set of black leather loafers, turned those eyes of his up from his phone and made sure his ears were attuned to the sounds around him.
Gossip and other information that slipped from the mouths of others, was important. Especially for his type of job, he had to be in on the conversation but not actively so. Keep his eyes peeled and his ears open, were what his co-workers told him some time ago and that was something he appeared to have excelled at after all this time. The town, in certain parts, wasn't so lifeless (proven by the looks he got from others, especially females), but it was those empty areas that he needed to search in first. Even though Radiant Garden had a good handle on the threat which was the darkness, many still feared the more shifty parts of the area. Unfortunately, no place was safe from the cretins that were the Heartless.
Luke gazed upon his phone which was still out and had tapped upon the screen several times. A radar showed up and had a rather detailed layout of the town. A couple of points were highlighted and interestingly enough, a movement blip had went off not too far from him. Almost as if by scary coincidence, there was a shout for help.
"Show time." He said to himself and touched upon the hilt of the one accessory on his body that actually mattered. His katana. A blade protected by a simple black sheath made of some sturdy wood, Luke's steady hand had affixed itself upon the grip and he took off, going in the direction of the voice. When he finally arrived upon it, there was a figure, who sported a lab coat, and what appeared to be some sort of figure that jumped out towards it. Before he himself got involved in the action, Luke analyzed the situation and made sure it was something that acquired his more physical attributes.

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
It wasn’t always fun-filled, but coming to Radiant Garden every once in a while while their father, the King and leading figure of the world, was going about his ruler business. Destiny Islands was beautiful and tranquil, but the casual hussle and bussle of the world was always a nice change of pace. Normally, that would be the case. But today? Today, there was something that was off. The quietness wasn’t peaceful, but unnerving, and as the twins wandered the streets in hopes of finding ways to entertain themselves, there was something that set off their senses.
The male had eyes scanning the surrounding area, though did so inconspicuously with his open book in front of him. The young man made it appear as though he were really reading. His sister, the young woman walking beside him, had her laced fingers behind her head, whistling as she looked around. They looked like nothing more than a pair of bored teens with nothing better to do with their time.
With a huff, Destinie turned her eyes up to the slowly clouding sky. “Man, what a day this is, ey? Not a single thing going on…” She spoke in a hushed tone so that only her twin could hear. “I mean would it hur-”
“Shh.”
“What? I can’t even-”
“Shh!”
Fayt had stopped walking, turning his ear in the direction that he swore he heard a plea for help. His successful shushing of his sister granted him a chance to hear that second beckoning, with the same tone of voice. He immediately took off in that direction, leaving Destinie to follow in confusion.
“Hey, where are… you… Oh.”
The twins slid into view of the other of the alley from around the corner, seeing the figure that sped towards the young man in the lab coat. Fayt immediately reached out a hand to force push the golden-orbed creature away, and incidentally towards another man across the way. That’s when Destinie bore her axes, pitiable substitutes for ones that were currently being worked on, and charged in an attempt to debilitate the figure. They made no sign of showing that they were going to relent until it was put down.

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
Radiant Garden seemed a little bare that day. It was like a ghost town. Had something happened? Psyper consulted her spiritual companion, Spirit. It may not have been her real name, but she didn't say anything about it for over twenty years, so there was no need to change something that was already established between them. The rejected heart scanned the surroundings and reported that everyone had simply been cowering in their homes. From what though? Spirit sensed some of those heartless who seemed to be on a rising campaign. But wait, there were other people here that weren't hiding in one of the buildings. They seemed to be converging towards each other. "Well it seems we found our destination. I wonder if they need help with something."
She was walking quite calmly towards the other people, moving past a number of households. She could feel eyes from within tracking her movements. As she walked, a number of heartless emerged from out of nowhere and lunged at her with their claws. She wasn't phased at all and continued to walk through them. The heartless were flung this way and that, some of them being sliced in half, and Psyper didn't need to react to them at all. Spirit was doing all the work, not letting a single one of those little monsters to lay a finger, or rather, claw on the Nobody. From everyone else's point of view, it was either she had a forcefield, or she had some telekinetic powers which kept her safe, but from her eyes, she could see a swordswoman in black, blinking everywhere and striking down the heartless as they came into her kill zone. However, it was nothing more than a phantom. It was the image her mind created to make sense of Spirit's actions. She never really strayed away from their body, she just manipulated space to attack. Simple as that, but there was no real explanation why Psyper could see the phantom image. At least not yet. It had been really difficult to cut into herself, so she never got a chance to study her own biology.
"You're getting faster. I'm quite impressed, Spirit," she praised the rejected heart as they came into view of four youths fending off the heartless. She approached them with a blank, twisted smile. "Heterochromia in the eyes... How interesting," she thought aloud when noticing the red and blue coloration in the eyes of the two identical-looking youth, and also the other one who seemed a little dazed as if he had been sleeping for a while. She hadn't taken notice yet of the samurai, but was aware he was there. She stood there in the middle of the street, simply watching the four of them fend off the heartless while all around her, the heartless were being flung away by an unseen force. "These flies are getting bothersome... It's seem's they're everywhere these days..."

Cipher saw ran as fast as anyone that slept for a few years could (What is that thing and what does it want from Cipher?!) he thought to himself as he ran into ally where he tripped over his own feet and stumbled a bit allowing the creature to catch up to him saw two people standing there both seem to have a different eye colors just like him that seemed really nice seeing how they stopped the yellow-eyed creature before it could get any closer to him. "Someone help me please!" he shouts thinking they only stopped it so they could beat him up
He felt his body feel a bit lighter after he fell to the floor to catch his breath “Thank...you..so much..” he thanked them as he tried to catch his breath when he gets a sudden chill down his spin (Never felt this before… or have I?) he pondered as he turned to see a woman with yellow hair and in a church outfit but quickly turned back to the twins to see them having a hard time with the yellow-eyed creature. (What should i do i can’t help them i only get in the way.) he started to panic as he tried to stand up but was frozen in fear.
Cipher clinched his chest in pain as he got to his knees “He..art..l.ess…” he muttered as he covered his dark brown eye as his blue eye shined brightly seemingly driving away the creatures. He looked around confused as he had no idea what had just transpired within that second “Cipher wants to thank you for helping me out just now.” he tell his saviors just before his vision went black falls to the ground passed out with his hand over his chest.

Upon careful observation, one could see that the male had no sense of combat resolve whatsoever. No, he simply chose to run away and beg for help, something Luke would have definitely provided for. That is, up until a shift in spacial force, created by a still unknown figure, blasted the Heartless back. When that happened, the thing came barreling towards Luke, who simply side-stepped out the way. Then he took several steps back and watched as the ax wielding young woman jump off towards it. A simple shrug of his shoulders was the result of his settled indifference and he was finally able to get a face for some of the other figures. The surrounding area almost became quite the popular attraction for some... Questionable individuals.
"Huh... Guess I'm not the only one who's visiting this place." He thought to himself and decided to keep at his observations. The first on the list, were the twins. Similar hairstyle in terms of hair color, their height matched and they appeared alongside one another. They shared the same eye-color, save for the sister who had a blue eye. Second was the young man who cried for help. He too had heterochromia and it was one of those things, where Luke wondered if that eye condition was even rare anymore. A simple roll of his own orbs showed how much he really cared. But then the third and fourth people were... Interesting. The weird blond being surrounded by Heartless, utilized a second person of sorts, or an ability akin to using a being, to get rid of those creatures with ease. Luke's Hyper-Sensitivity allowed him to take notice of this and he figured that there had to have been more than one person, just the other was invisible, or something along those lines.
The samurai's eyes pointed back over to the male once again. He clenched his chest and seemed to be in some sort of pain, but the ebony-haired observer didn't know if he should actually intervene just yet. It was all interesting to say the least. Thankfully he didn't get near any of that, because immediately after that thought, the person suddenly grew bright with an odd light. Luke feigned having to shield his eyes and when it all came to a close, the Heartless were gone.
"What was that? Some kind of skill? More than likely, nothing but a supernatural ability would have been able to get rid of the Heartless like that. What is that kid?" Luke asked himself with a raised eyebrow. For the time being, he'd remain modestly "shocked." "Geez, kid, them save you? Looks like it's the other way around. You saved them... You're not looking too hot though." The samurai said casually, as he made his way over to the "savior." A light chuckle left his lips and he nudged him with the edge of his scabbard. When there was no response, he simply shrugged and scratched the back of his head. He then took a gander at the rest of the people who were there. "Good job, team?" Luke asked aloud with a light chuckle.

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
Flinging herself at the heartless, Destinie definitely gave it the what-for. She bashed them with her axes in hopes of sending it back to the Realm of Darkness. The twins were educated enough to know that there was no permanently killing a heartless unless one did so with a keyblade. It was a small fact that irritated the female twin. Fayt was a more level-headed on the matter, accepting it for what it was.
Turning his red and blue eyes towards the boy as he cried for help, Fayt sighed when he was then thanked. He left his sister to handle the creature, having complete faith in her ability to dispose of it. Those eyes of his darted over to the young woman that had then entered the scene. She wore a holy robe, but everything about her screamed that she was anything but. There was something about her that was… unnatural. He kept a close watch on her, along with the older man who stood in inaction off to the side, while defending the weakened boy, who slowly rose to his feet.
Fayt quirked a brow at him, especially when he started to clutch his chest. When he collapsed to his knees, the red and blue eyed twin moved to catch him, but stopped as he heard a voice unlike the one he’d been previously speaking with. Hopping back when his blue eye began to glow, Fayt stood near his sister, who looked up to see what had her brother on guard. There was a light that left as quickly as it came, and Destinie was left blinking a little, dazed slightly.
Looking around to see that the heartless were no longer present, she was a little confused. “Uh.. What the he-” Destinie’s question stopped short as Fayt raised a hand to gesture for her to stop and listen. When she did, the young lady heard the boy’s thanks, and watched as he passed out. “What… What just happened…?” She asked brother in a whisper.
Fayt just shrugged, but had already made an assumption on what had happened. Both set of the twins’ eyes followed the samurai as he came out of hiding, speaking to the obviously unconscious kid. When the man looked to those around them and made his comment, Destinie scoffed. “You can hardly call yourself part of the ‘team’ when you just stood there, sir.” Destinie said to him as she placed her axes back in their holsters at her waist and putting her hands on her hips.
Fayt gave a soft grunt in agreement, and walked up to the boy that still lay on the ground. Giving him a quick once-over, the male twin picked him up and stood up. “Let’s go,” he told his sister, and turned to leave. Destinie nodded, and wasn't too far behind him. His destination was the nearest hospital or infirmary. Neither he nor his sister had the certification to help him, and as the boy wasn’t in any dire need of medical help, they’d drop him off there. Fayt didn’t trust those two enough to left the kid in their hands.

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
Psyper made her way to the group, with the heartless being flung around like ragdolls. Not a single one had touched her thanks to her 'Heart', though Spirit was like a parasite, or a symbiote in simple terms. The fight was over in such a short time. The helpless one didn't seem so helpless at all. Interesting. And he passed out as well. Good, now there wouldn't be any screaming and thrashing while she see examines him. He won't feel a thing.
Alas, she was too late. The boy in black had already taken the unconscious one over his shoulder. How bothersome... Well she might as well see where they were taking the lad and hope they shoo off so she could continue with her endeavors without any disturbances. As the boy walked, Psyper caught up and started walking backwards, taking a good look at the boy's eyes, then to his apparent twin. "Red and blue... and the other has blue and brown... I wonder of you three are in any way different than my other patients..." she mused out loud. Since she was walking backwards, she didn't see the pole in her way, but something pulled her slightly to the side to avoid it,as seen with her sleeve being visibly pulled by something that wasn't there.
She didn't react to the strange event, and continued to watch the three (four if the other one tagged along) with blank stares as if nothing happened..

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
Cipher felt himself being picked up and moved somewhere but he couldn't tell all he was able to see was white figures and one dark figure standing around him (What is going on? Who are these people?) he asked himself as he was placed down on what felt like a bed. He felt his body starting to gain some weight almost as if he left his body and and came back "Wh.....What happen where am I and how did i get here?" he asked as he started to open his eyes and help his head in pain hoping to see the people that saved him and thank them.
Cipher Looked at his clothes to see that he still need to find a new pair of clothes to replace his old stretched ones (I really need to get new clothes.) he spent a few minutes looking over his outfit and then felt his head start to hurt. he saw two hearts slowly becoming one "I have two hearts?" he said aloud looking up to see the white and dark figure still there "Umm..Hello white and Dark people nice to meet you?" Cipher felt it was only right to introduce himself to the figures in hopes that they would be nice to him and tell him were he is.

Well that was obviously expected. The ebony-haired young woman, with the multicolored eyes seemed to have berated him for his lack of action. Luke didn't really care all too much, honestly, and simply gave her a casual shrug of the shoulders. "Looks like you guys had it, why waste the energy?" A good point, really. They would have seen it as him being lazy or some sort of selfish punk at that point, but he ultimately didn't care in the end. What really mattered was that those creatures were dealt with and even then, there was yet another "oddity" in their midst.
"But, uh, if this helps in any way. You see that creepy blonde-priest? You know, the one in front of you who can be moved without having to necessarily see stuff in front of... It? Yeah, uh, steer clear of it? You know, run, hide, do something. Also, keep an eye on that kid, he's something special...!" Luke had went further and further away from the group. His voice trailed off with that gesture and with that, he could move on to the bigger and better things. Like his mission, for example. Before he had left completely, though, he turned those sharp eyes of his over to the three and had hoped he wouldn't have to come back, to save their asses later.

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
Destinie huffed at the samurai. That one definitely had no sense of honor or duty, choosing to let a pair of kids handle the heartless threat rather than ensuring their safety. Sure, they ‘had it’, but the help would have been a nice gesture. So when he had a few bits of advice to give, the young lady was a little hesitant to take him seriously. It wasn’t until she looked to Fayt, and saw him giving the samurai a contemplative stare, that she teetered on believing him.
“Thanks,” was all Fayt had said, as stoic and unreadable as always. There were times that his sister really wished she could tell what was going on in that head of his, but there were others where Destinie thought that it was for the best that she didn’t know. The two walked side-by-side on their way to the nearest medical facility, be it a clinic or a hospital. From their current location, the closest one would likely be the hospital some blocks away. Unfortunately, they weren’t alone.
From the corner of his eye, Fayt gazed at the priestly… doctor? There were several reasons as to why he did not take this woman as a conventional sort of doctor. “Heterochromia does not necessarily warrant a person having extraordinary skills or abilities, miss.” He started, trying to be as polite and blunt as possible. Fayt didn’t like the vibe that this woman have off, and that samurai’s warning only further solidified that thought. “It is the person themselves and their capability that makes them ‘different’, as you say. But-” He paused to fully turn his head to the woman as she walked backwards. “-is there something else you need, miss? We're just taking this boy to a hospital and letting those who are certified in the matter to care for him.” He really hoped that that would sway the woman to lose interest and go away, but he highly doubted it.
Destinie was on the same thought train as her twin brother. So when the strange lady was about to walk into a pole, the young woman wasn’t going to say a damned thing and let her crash into it. But, stranger still, that didn’t happen. Both had noticed her sleeve get tugged, and the woman missed the pole completely, acting as though nothing out of the ordinary happened. This… thing… was giving her the creeps. A quick glance from Fayt had told her to keep her thoughts to herself.
After a short walk later, Fayt and Destinie, and most likely their unwanted company, arrived at the hospital. The young man admitted Cipher, giving a vague explanation to the nurse about his current state of being. Shortly after, they were taken to a room, where the mostly unconscious boy was laid down. Before anyone even came in to look at him, he was speaking. Both the twin’s eyes trailed over to him. Fayt remained where he was, leaning against the wall on the far side of the room with his arms crossed over his chest. He wanted to be able to keep an eye on all that was happening in the room.
Destinie, on the other hand, moved closer and placed her hands on her knees as she bent forward. “Hey there, uh… Cipher? You’re at the hospital. You kinda blanked out there for a moment, so we thought that it’d be best to get you looked at.” She told him, noting how it looked as though he was still in pain. He was in a sort of daze for a while, looking over himself. It was sort of odd, like he didn’t recognize himself. His next comment had not only her, but Fayt a bit confused. Two hearts? That was… Well, it wasn’t unheard of, but it wasn’t exactly something that was commonplace. Maybe that samurai guy was right in telling them to keep an eye on this kid. “You, uh… feeling okay, there?”

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
Psyper chuckled eerily at the boy's comment about about heterochromia. What did he know? "I did not merely refer to one's abilities, young man. Chemical or hormonal imbalance at birth, exposure to radiation, a crossbreed between two different yet similar species, possession, biological experiments, ocular trauma, all these could cause heterochromia. Such a thing is rare in a perfectly pure and natural gene pool, but as of now, said gene pool is the new rarity among the people as interworld travel has allowed for different specimens to reproduce, combining generations of genes into a larger, more unpredictable pool. Not only that, but with the multitude of personalities who conduct tests on unwary people, the genetic pools are further made unpredictable. Even medical drugs have affected the gene pools in their own small way. I was just curious as to what caused your genetic mutations. Some time with you could shed some light on that."
As she spoke, she never broke eye contact, except for the time when she glanced at the girl. Both of them didn't seem to want her hanging around. That didn't mean she was going to leave however. When checking in, she followed the others. The boy was taken into a room, while the three of them remained outside while the nurses took care of the child. But when they left, the boy awoke and started speaking. The girl went in to speak to the boy, and Psyper followed, but stayed in the corner, watching the two of them. "Two hearts. Hmm, perhaps that is the reason for your eyes. Interesting." That was only a guess, and until she could cut him open and get a sample of his DNA, it would remain only as a guess. But she doubted any of these young ones could understand the importance of a little blood spill in her endeavor, and would likely cause an uproar should she pull out a scalpel. What a pain it was. But ah, this did make her remember realize something. The twins' way of clothing themselves looked akin to the family who, at one point, ruled multiple worlds, but for some reason, let that control slip away. No, that'd be jumping to conclusions, but still she could prod their origins out of them.
"Cipher, was it?" she repeated the name. "Coincidentally, our names are very similar. Are you feeling ill, young man? Perhaps I could help with any of your woes."

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
Cipher felt a shiver as down his spine as he turned his head to see a gray figure (Oh man why do i keep getting that cold dark feeling?) he asked himself as he. He started to blink Rapptlely as he had something in his eyes until his sight went back to normal and he was the twins and the creepy lady in the back holding something sharp. "Thank you am fine and thank you for telling me where i am but i can't seem to remember anything passed today." he told the twins hoping that they could help him or something.
he moved the covers off him and swung his legs over the bed "Umm that would be great Ummm Blond girl but no I would like to find new clothes first cause these feel tight Cipher is sorry if that came off rude." he said looking at the equipment in the room just like anyone with no memory would do if they woke up in a hospital. "Umm thank you for saving me." he tries to say it in a way that doesn't sound mean. (This lady is bad news I think its hard to tell.) he thought to himself as he stood up from his bed and walked to the window to see the town but he wanted to hear their answer before he gives his attention to the view.

“Our heterochromia is the result of crossbreeding. Question solved. Now leave.” Fayt was curt and cut, giving the unsettling woman the most logical answer. Though after the words came out of his mouth, he second guessed that call. This woman didn’t need to know something so personal, after all.
Within the room, Fayt and Destinie were still on guard. Much like Cipher, a shiver ran down the young lady’s spine, growing more violent the longer that Psyper hung around. It was a sort of natural instinct that told her the church clothed woman was up to no good. Then again, she got that same vibe from her Aunt Celia. But her aunt had a purpose to all her… experimentation. That’s what she was told, at any rate.
Cipher’s voice called the twins’ attention once more. “You fainted after helping fend off the heartless.” Fayt answered simply. “After which, we took you to the hospital to receive medical care. We don’t really know what happened, so we were hoping that maybe someone here might give us a clue.” Destinie told the young man with a comforting smile. When the woman began to speak to Cipher, she couldn’t help but take up a defensive stance over the boy, eyeing Psyper with a warning in her gaze.
“I think it’s better if an actual doctor takes care of you, Cipher. We’ll get you some clothes, though, so don’t worry about that.” The young lady said, petting the top of his head. “But you need to stay here, okay?” She said to him, intent on going out to get the kid some new duds. The ones he was currently wearing did seem a tad bit small.
Upon standing up, she cast her gaze over to Fayt, who was making his way to the door. “I’ll go. Stay here and wait for the doctor.” He said plainly before leaving. He had faith in his sister's capabilities.
“Well fine, then. Didn’t want to go anyways…” She muttered to herself. Sitting beside Cipher on the bed, Destinie was also keeping an eye on the woman in the corner of the room. Though she didn’t trust her, it was better not to make an enemy of someone who you can’t make heads or tails of. Maybe… she had a reason for how she acted? As she wondered that, her gaze joined Cipher’s in looking out the window.

Re: A Light shines (Luke/Fayt/Psyper)
"My, my. Aren't we feeling hostile today? Did I do something to upset you, young man?" She looked to her side and spoke to someone who wasn't there. At the right angle, it would seem like she was smiling. "No, it's okay, dear. No need to use violence." She turned back to the remaining twin after the rude one left, and the girl relocated to the bed. "Crossbreeding," she repeated to herself. Interesting. "I suppose you wouldn't tell me even if I asked what creatures your parents were?"
The apparent hostility didn't bother her all that much. It could be because she was always seen as suspicious, but in reality, it was because she couldn't care. But Spirit was different. She could actually feel emotions, and that often made her lash out at whoever tried to talk Psyper down. But she lacked better judgement, which is what Psyper brought to the table. While it didn't affect her in any way if the rejected heart were to lash out at the young man for acting so rudely, it would have made everything else much bloodier than it had to be.
Emotions could truly be damnable things, couldn't they? Made people too indecisive and needlessly overcautious of others who acted differently. Sad, but true wherever the situation may be. Oh well.

(I need to pay them back somehow.) he thought to himself as he Fayt leaves the room to get his new clothes. Cipher felt a little more at easy when Destinie sat next to him but at the same time felt a weird muderis intent from the blond person (The twins are really niceI wonder if they know what Het what ever is?) he wondered. Soon after Fayt left the doctor came in the room "Am doctor Wine hat seems to be the problem?" he wore red scrubs as and held a clipboard. Cipher grabbed Destine's hand and squeezed it a bit "Something is wrong with my head sir." he told him as he walked over to them on the bed and softly pokes his head "what do you mean could someone explain?" Doctor Wine asked everyone in the room.
