Toma is a Hero in all accounts. From this he has learned about all the things he would eventually need to use to defeat  his enemies. His magic is derived from he passion and determination to win. All of his skills are only available when used with certain weapons/forms/drives. He is also able to quickly switch forms of his weapons.
