The Night Market [PM to Join]
Night cooled the usually hot and stuffy air that laid across the city of Agrabah. It was a special night there tonight, it wasn't usual that the market stalls would be open during the hours of dark but tonight they were. Unique clothing and jewellery filled the stalls bringing the attention of all kinds of people, even those higher class rich types. Asura could only scowl behind her headscarf as they walked by, ignoring whatever it was on her table. Sure, there was other magically enchanted things to buy out there and what she had seemed pointless to some, Asura knew the value and whoever took interest in it, they'd know the value too.
An indigo silk table sheet made it look all the more gypsy and fake like. Sitting a top the table were small crystal orbs with a grey aura of magic swirling inside them, a stand in front of them read a few names. There were only four of them there too sitting behind a sprawl of gold jewellery and lamps the gypsy had come across in her desert travels. The whole get up was rather ominous as Asura stood behind the table, her eyes as her only visible feature shifting and scanning the area as each person went by whilst a larger orb floated behind her. Maybe her jewellery looked too fake, maybe no one took an interest in magic?
That's what she thought at least until someone walked up to the stall, inspecting the jewellery with first his eyes then picking it up with his hands, feeling the weight and what not of it. He didn't look like a thief but Asura definitely wasn't trusting. Her eyes squinted at him as he looked over a few pieces. He then moved his gaze to the orbs, a look of dumbfounded confusion on his face.
"What are these?"
"What do they look like?" The Desert Reaper responded, her tone harsh and cold as the possible customer looked further confused and a bit offended.
"What are those names?"
"The names of the people they use to belong to."
"You're a thief? What are they anyway?"
"No. They all traded them in for some water and a way out of the desert. If you don't know what they are then you wont know the value nor how to use it. Why don't you just buy some nice jewellery or something to sway a princess with?"
"What?! How dare you speak to me like that! No way I'm buying anything from your stall!"
The dialogue ended up in no sale. Asura's shoulders lifted to give a shrug as the man walked away from her stall, she didn't care too much for idiots like himself. Picking up one of the soul containing orbs the gypsy looked into it, seeing the exact location of the person who sold it to her, they were in the desert again, interesting. Placing the soul carefully back on the table the gypsy stood there silently once more as merchants and customers filled the air with their hustle bustle.

Re: The Night Market [PM to Join]
Kia hopped out of her older sister's Gummi Ship with a grin on her face, she turned to the beautiful blonde woman who was driving the Gummi Ship. "Abigail, you coming?" she asked her older sister as she placed her hand on the baby blue ship door almost bouncing up and down in excitement. Abigail frowned and placed her hand on the stick and looked around the sandy desert she had parked in and shook her head. "Nah, I have another shift at the bar, ("This late?") Yes, but look Kia you got your first paycheck and you wanted to come here! Don't worry, I'll come back and pick you up in two hours, don't talk to strangers." Kia sadly nodded and closed the door so her sister to take off. They waved to each other and her older sister finally turned the key in the incognition and took off to the skies.
Kia sighed and jammed her hand in her pocket, fishing for her wallet. She hated the fact that Abigail couldn't spend time with her and have a girl's night out. Maybe she needed more girl friends her age, Alyx was female but she was just too old. The blonde finally found her wallet and held it to her ear, shaking it with a small smile. The sound of coins jiggling in the small wallet never really felt empty since she was from a prosperous family, her and Abigail was given more then three million munny to start new lives but they kept it locked up in a safe since they both wanted to learn to be responsible and earn money for themselves. Therefore, those millions were never touched for emergencies or anything.
Kia shrugged and walkes towards the marketplace, her face started to turn red due to the humid heat. The girl was wearing a red raincoat. Seriously, the child no matter how wealthy couldn't dress. In her previous cult, they wore white all the time, After escaping a thirteen year old Kia wanted to experience wearing different colors so here she was wearing a red raincoat, a blue camisole, dark blue jeans, and green boots that should be weared when raining. Her long blonde hair was braided in a single braid which was slung neatly over her left shoulder, her blue eyes looked dererminedly towards the marketplace as she moved forwards.
As she walked in, she gasped in fascination taking everything in. There was so much to buy! Especially with her paycheck, she saw some orbs on a table along with someone under... Why was the person hiding their face? She walked over to the table and placed her hands on the table, standing on her tipitoes. "Why are you hiding your face- Oooh, orbs!" The young girl picked one up and placed it in the palm of her hands she held them out to the person behind the table. "How much? Oooh, whats that behind you?"

Re: The Night Market [PM to Join]
As expected more and more people walked by, not bothering at all to look at Asura's stall. No one knew what they were nor were interested to know... it may have been her terrible salesmanship but she wouldn't believe it, the orbs would sell themselves if people took one look closer to see what it was. As the gypsy was readying herself to pack up and move on she noticed a young, blonde, fairer toned girl sticking out in the crowd of peasants and nobles. Not only was it her genes that caught the eye of Asura and perhaps a few others but her sense of dressing in the hot humid weather. Denim was a material that hardly any saw in Agrabah, some people didn't even know what it was and the red raincoat screamed outsider rather loudly. The complacent, oblivious citizens would only notice then look away, their eyes searching for something to only suit themselves.
Asura could possibly be heard giving a small chuckle as the young girl approached her stall, something the gypsy was most certainly not expecting. Upon arrival she peeked over the table to ask Asura why she was hiding her face. The hazel eyes of the desert reaper shifted around seeing a bunch of other women covering their faces witch headscarves, she then shrugged pulling the scarf down off her nose to reveal the rest of her sharp features. She attempted a smile, it didn't happen, her face was simply stern as the girl continued to ask how much the orbs were.
"Seven thousand for that one."
The words fell from her mouth with a sharp and serious tone. Asura's stare moved from the young girl to the orb in her hand which held a constant moving image of the person it belonged to, well previously belonged to. If the girl looked close enough she'd see a man in his thirties smoking a cigarette in the Traverse Town square. He, like many of the gypsy's victims was a traveler between the Sea of Skies that was lost in the desert and had decided to make a deal with the Desert Reaper which left him without a soul, he wouldn't feel much different but it wouldn't take much to see the emptiness in his eyes.
As the blonde spoke more Asura's eyes shifted back to the young girl's as she asked about the orb floating behind the gypsy. Asura gave a small, calm gesture with her hand, moving it from behind her to in front. With that the orb followed as the gypsy returned her hand to her side. It floated around her quickly then slowly again as Asura willed it to before she'd explain what it was.
"It's a weapon, found in the desert." A small pause then: "It's not for sale."
She wasn't very good at selling things nor giving friendly vibes despite knowing that the young girl wasn't from around her.

Re: The Night Market [PM to Join]
Kia's mouth dropped once she heard the price, the woman behind the stall had a strange accent but of course she did... She was from this world! If that meant anything. "Seven thousand!?" Kia yelled, quickly looking up to meet the woman's eyes. A few of the shopping citjzens stared in the area and quickly walked away as if they didn't want to get involved, "Why so many? I mean their just glass balls!" She looked deeply into the ball and saw someone unfamiliar, smoking a cigarette. Was this the future? She didn't see anything else before placing the orb on the table.
"Oh." Kia said when the woman told her that the one she was holding costed a high price, so maybe the other orbs had different costs. She picked up another one and started shaking it like an overexcited kid carrying a snow globe for the first time. Why did they show these strang images? Who was that man? "Significant lover?" she asked as she nodded her head towards the orb that contained the middle aged man. "So, why are you selling these miss..?" she was suddenly distracted by another orb, she picked up another one with her free hand and leaned closer to look for images. "Are you an oracle?"

[[Sorry about the late reply, been busy with summer school ._.]]
Asura simply nodded, this was a normal reaction from most normal people who didn't know what it was. Her eyes shifted once again ever so slyly to see what the citizen's reactions were, walk along and ignore it as per usual. The gypsy expected the girl to simply walk away at the outrage of the price but instead she stayed, looking closely enough to see what Asura was trying to show her. It clearly still made no sense at all to her but as she seemed interested enough, the gypsy would explain to her what it was about... briefly. "That was a man who like yourself, wasn't from this world." Asura said quietly enough so only the two would hear what she said, a wink following with her merchant getup.
"He, like all the other people you see in these orbs have traded their souls for something I could give them, usually a way out of the desert as a lot of people seem to get lost in there."
Her voice was still low, quiet, as she spoke to the young girl. She looked into the orb that the girl picked up, seeing a rather wealthy nobleman walking around the markets, he looked like he was in his twenties... in fact he sort of looked like he was in the night markets too. A small sign of excitement showed as Asura gripped her moon necklace, tonight was likely that she'd make a bit mone- trouble. Returning to her original standing position she answered the girl's question.
"No, definitely not. I just make deals that are out of the ordinary."
With that Asura's eyes spotted the nobleman who's soul belonged to her, the gypsy smiled once again. It took no time for the man to spot her and her stall and he'd soon arrive. Asura wasn't one for the money though it did help with a lot of stuff, tonight she thought she'd create some entertainment.
"That one you've got there is worth at least ten thousand, but I'll give it to you for just a hundred. Souls are valuable, you can either make a lot of money off them or use them for magic I guess."

Re: The Night Market [PM to Join]
Kia blinked when the woman recalled that he was just an ordinary everyday man who came to the same stall and gave his soul to her... Now what kind of drugs- "Oh, right, I see!" She responded as she moved the orb with her hand as if examining it once more, as if selling souls to someone was normal. Maybe this woman was a female version of Rumpelstiltskin, well magic probably did have a price in these strange worlds. The cult escapee placed both orbs down and unzipped her wallet.
"How much?"
"That one you've got there is worth at least ten thousand, but I'll give it to you for just a hundred. Souls are valuable, you can either make a lot of money off them or use them for magic I guess."
The teenage girl with the mismatched clothing tilted her wallet pouch and more gold coins then you can count was dipped in her palm. She smiled and placed one hundred coins on the table and slid them to the female merchant, "Thanks!" She chirped as she took the orb in her hands carelessly, and all of a sudden the orb slid out of her hands and shattered right on the ground. Kia gasped and quickly crotched down as what looked like a pale smoke was starting to come out of the shattered parts. "Oh my god! I'm such an idiot!" She screamed as she picked up the pieces and tried to piece the orb back together, "I-I-I-I'll pay for the damages!"

Re: The Night Market [PM to Join]
"No problem."
Spoke the women in a dark yet happy tone as she took the coins and placed them in a pouch of hers. She seemed rather content with the sale despite how cheap it went for, however she would enjoy watching things unfold as the man approached the stall. Just to make things even more interesting, the young girl dropped the orb. A pale smoke lifted and floated in the air for a second, looking for a way back to it's owner. The customer in a frantic panic over paying for damages to an item she already owned, looked like Asura was going to have to fix some things up.
Within a quick moment the gypsy cleared the table of orbs, placing them all in her satchel as she flew over the table ever so weightlessly to reach her destination. There the pale, smoke like soul floated for a moment before Asura's hand reached out, entrapping it again in another delicate orb. She flew up only a little to being herself standing again, the orb out in front of her to be given to the girl again.
"Here you g-"
"Hey you!?" Asura was interrupted. "I'll have my soul back now, I have fifteen thousand like you said! Where is it?"
The gypsy looked down in her hands, the man was seen in it, standing exactly where he was in his fine noble wears talking to Asura. She looked at the girl dead in the eye, giving the orb back to her to move her cold stare to the nobleman before her.
"I no longer have it sorry, sold it away."
"What? To who?" The man said ever so desperately, in response the gypsy turned to the girl again, signalling it was her with his soul now. "Please miss! Can I have it back?"
Asura rolled her eyes, typical, greedy noblemen wouldn't offer the girl a cent for it. "She paid some cold hard cash for that, I'm sure she knows the value too sir." Asura sent a wink to the young girl's way. It was obvious Asura disliked the noblemen of her world, they were rich and wouldn't give a cent to anyone in true need unless there was some sort of gain for them. At this moment, Asura just stood there, seeing how this would pan out.

Re: The Night Market [PM to Join]
Kia looked up to see that the woman wasn't at all angry at her, she showed no expression not even mere apathy. If Kia was put in the saleswoman's shoes she would be hysteric if someone broke something that precious? The young guard dropped all of the broken shards as the woman placed the lost soul in an empty orb and handed it to her, but as Kia hesitantly tried to reach over and grab it... The orb spoke, making the teenage girl flinch.
Though she has been out of the meadows for a year, She wasn't really use to inanimate objects speaking and people of different worlds acting like it was normal. The man apparently wanted his soul back, but the saleswoman claimed that she had sold it. This made Kia almost feel guilty, but hearing how the man was asking she rolled her eyes. What a nasty attitude...
Kia took the orb and started playing with it, slowly tossing it from one hand to another ignoring his plea. "Now don't worry, I'll feed it, bathe it, and even play with it~!" She told the saleswoman with mischievous grin. Kia stopped tossing the orb and carefully held it in her hand. "Okay, seriously what can I do with him?" The teenager pointed to the orb with a raised eyebrow, she looked down and addressed the nobleman. "I mean all you, yes you, can do is stand there, can he do any tricks?"
