Freedom Quill, Keyblade
Name: Freedom Quill
Type of Weapon: Keyblade
Size Class: Medium
Elemental Alignment: Non-Elemental
Enchantments/Special Abilities: Refer to Freedom Quill's Keyblade Skill Tree
Extra Information:
Appearance: This keyblade resembles nothing more than a very large quill pen. The teeth of the key is formed by the posterior vanes, trimmed so that the longest part of the main spine is free. The base of the spine, the calamus, is wrapped with cord to serve as a grip. Below the grip is the nib of the pen, which ends in a sharp point that also works as a stabbing tip for the weapon as a whole. As a point of trivia, it is also fully functional in regards to the whole dipping-into-ink-and-writing thing that such pens are known for, if being more than a little large for conventional writing.
History: They say the pen is mightier than the sword, but what of a pen that is also a sword... which is also a key? Surely it cannot be unbelievable that something which can strike with greater skill than brute force can also open doors that would otherwise remain locked. Lynette was chosen, though she doesn't understand why any more than anyone else would, to wield a Keyblade and her passage through the Doorway that opened up to allow her arrival in these strangely familiar and yet unfamiliar worlds gave her the ability to summon her own Keyblade, one that is specific to her and uniquely suited to her nature.
