Depression, Anxiety, Loneliness, three words Kia had felt in a nutshell. The blonde decided to go in the beach world called Destiny Islands. But all it was was a suburb right on the beach, it was beautiful but the city was crowded with it's people doing everyday activities. Children and teens her age wore the same clothes and walked and talked together in groups, boys carried their bags right behind them in a suave style while some girls wore flowers in their hair given by their sweethearts. It was a sunny day, but not enough to be humid, there was a nice breeze coming from the ocean. The teenager looked among the teen girl groups and sighed, she wondered what it was like to have friends and to trust others, maybe she would never know..

Kia managed to put on a smile as she headed towards the islands in her new attire: A pink camisole and denim shorts. She was use to her baggy clothing but she decided she needed a new change in wardrobe ever since her fight with Tyler. Even though she could heal her bruise, she wore the healing bruise with pride as if she was abused or something. The girl found a couple of palm trees in one corner and decided to sit on the leaves, she watched the waves dance underneath the sun, this was relaxing...

Mifune walked across the island's path. In his hands were numerous exotic plants only common to this planet. He seemed intent on carrying them alone, for whatever reason was unknown. In his mouth was a stick of sugar, no seriously. It was a white stick, made of compressed sugar. How he found it was also unkown, well... It probably came from the candy store in town. But the item was still in beta at this moment in time.

Mifune casually moved along until he came around from the jungly parts, to the sunny-beach. About half-mile from his destination. He walked past palm trees and laughing children, man... This world was a paradise. He then stopped when he saw a familiar face at the base of a tree. "Eyy... It's you. Chia... No it was Kia! It's been some time. How are ya?" He left out seeing her in DisneyTown for purposes of his own agenda. As he was about to speak again some of the children grabbed his leg and began chanting. "Chief! Chief! Chief!" Pulling on his pants legs in a childish, annoying, but cute way.

Kia loved the feeling of sea breeze, she was just having a good time being alone with herself. She didn't want to expose herself in the middle of the beach, the fear of making a new friend and lending her trust in a stranger was making the teenage girl pretty anxious. How come the same guy that gave her confidence, took the confidence away doing dumb actions? Kia had never had a male role model in her life, all of the males have either been perverted, abusive, or just plain submissive and drunk.

The teenager saw a figure headed towards her, carrying a stalk of exotic plants in one hand. She almost stood to greet this stranger but found out that it was Mifune Domen, the boy she had sparred about a month ago. It seemed like he had recovered from his injuries and was in a happy mood. She blinked, So he didn't hate her? All along she thought that he hated her because she made all of Olympus shame the poor boy. "Hey Mifune, and yes, it's Kia. You Greeks have a very strange way of saying my name."She replied with a small chuckle, not meaning to offend the boy.

Kia saw a few kids circle around Mifune and call him 'Chief'. Oh? This was an interesting development. So, she guessed he was a long lost prince in this world? She didn't know but she decided not too be nosy and ask about it. "Hehe, so how have you been, Mifune?" She inquired as she crossed one bare leg over the other and scooted over on the bark, making room for the boy if he was going to sit down. Maybe she should just talk to someone, she had already shut out Abby when she asked about Kia. Kia hasn't been outside or traveling in a week because of the Tyler incident, but she didn't want to focus too much on it.

Mifune smiled at her warmly, his hair had grown out a little. He didn't really cae to trim it up on the islands. Raising his free-hand to his mouth, he took the sugar and sat next to the girl. She looked so distressed. Mifune wasn't like many. Or rather, he was like many... He did pry at things. He was nosy. And in generall ly he liked meddling in things. He sat his natural herbs in his lap and bit the sugar. It was very sweet, like; it wasn't jall-breaker hard, it had a powdery-ness like sweet tarts. He spoke to her as his eyebrow crept up. "Haha! Well, your name isn't something people here everday ya know. It's unique~ He paused so she could speak, being polite was always a given ya know?  "Oh well. I'm great. I like it here, its so relaxing... The people are pretty cool and the job is pretty fun. I'm the chieftan here now." Mifune made a large smile, and bit into his candy. Soon after he  spoke up once more. "You feeling okay right? I'm getting some stressed vibes from ya. You look like you haven't slept all night or something." 

It was true that she appeared more lax here, but she didn't look well. Her eyes had bags under them, and she had that aura. Like she was calling out for a council to listen. He happily obliged. The girl was cute, who wouldn't wanna be the guy she talked too?

"You feeling okay right? I'm getting some stressed vibes from ya. You look like you haven't slept all night or something." 

Kia flinched as if someone had hit her, how in the worlds did the boy know? The teenage girl shrugged her shoulders and placed her curled fists in her lap, she managed to put on a goofy smile and turn to the Greek boy. "What're you talking about, dude? I'm just chilling on the beach, I'm too blessed to be stressed," She exclaimed as she leaned back on the tree bark and hugged her knees close, trying to look relaxed. It was sadly easy to see past her 'chill' facade and Mifune was smart enough to notice.

The Half-Djinn opened her mouth to talk, but then quickly closed it. She didn't want to make this all about her, especially in front of a boy who was about her age, everything shouldn't be about her... She narrowed her eyes and stared at the plants Mifune was clutching, he was holding them as if they were valuable to him. Maybe he was a herbologist? The girl started to get curious about the exotic plants, she shifted her body so she was fully facing him and pointed at them,"Say... What are those plants you're holding in your hand? You ain't trying to plant any illegal plants are ya?" Kia asked with a chuckle.

The teenage girl was starting to become a bit better, she guessed she needed to share a laugh with someone. Maybe Mifune forgave or forgot what had happened at the arena, she couldn't put it behind her because she had made him cry at her feet. The teenage girl didn't trust herself with her powers, or trust herself around others. All the teenage girl did was bring harm and mayhem, the Castle of Dreams massacre, the murder in Keyblade Garden,  The way she punched Tyler in the jaw and made him bleed out. She bit her lip to keep herself from crying.

"Mifune, I would like to say something about what happened at the arena a month ago," She said, her tone turning much more serious. "I'm sorry that everyone had disgraced you because of me... I meant no harm, I just wanted to win something for once.. Do something right-- I mean, not like beating you up was right. I have done more harm then good during my travels, I've never won anything.. I know I look like someone who can't do no wrong,.. So I apologize for what happened at the arena, will you ever forgive me?"

Kia looked down and fumbled with the strings on her denim short shorts, "Y-You don't have to forgive me right away, I mean since you're Chieftan you can banish me from the Islands, congrats on the rank by the way," She took a deep breath and hoisted herself off of the tree, "No, I'd rather just escort myself out..." The girl slowly tried to walk away...

The boy saw through her lie, and frowned. He really wanted to know what was up. "Sometimes its better to bottle stuff up, no need to pry I guess."  He listened to her, she seemed to side-step talking about her own agendas. That was fine; they weren't super close or anything like that.

He blinked and gave her fake smile that she put on, a sympathetic nod. She chuckled lightly, this made Mifune grin. She had a playful aura; colorful and vibrant. But... it kept scratching at the back of his neck. An old medicine-man In Deep Jungle once told him... "The one's who smile the brightest, have know the most sadness."

He gripped his herbs, he was gonna play them off as just some quest item at first. But Kia really needed it. Mifune was aware of the mental sense changing effects of the plants, but he doubted kia would be into that stuff. The Chief rubbed the back of his neck as she apologized. "Oii, I had to lose eventually. The people there are ignorant, they feed off of violence. I'm glad you were so tough. It was inspiring and to be honest, I was annoyed its true. But that's cause you only needed to hit me once. I was weak. Anyone who gets hit only once and loses is bound to cry." The boy lied.

In his heart it was true that he had hated her. He hated being looked down upon, he hated striving and being blown away because someone else was born extraordinary... Ya see, Mifune lived a life of struggle and strife; and he had always been digging at his pathetic dreams. The teenager dug and dug, ripping and pulling so that he could reach the top... Yet she brought him to terms, to his groveling feet in one nose-breaking blow. He had contimplated his own death as an alternative to facing his disgrace. But alas, he was much to weak for that. 

Instead he fled the hateful glares and insults. He explored into worlds for a couple days as he normally would until he reached Disney Town and its regrettable attack. After which he found living with himself even more difficult; he came here. To the island's paradise to clear his head of a painful truth. It doesn't matter how hard you try, some people can never get stronger. The words stained his brain. It was irrelevant, as most humans would consider. But this is what he thought about now as well. 

Haimon had written the same sentence into his letter months back. It's what led him to abandoning his younger brother. And now the younger brother knew it was true, Mifune knew. 

Yet by some miracle he gained a political title, how? Mifune had ran his cocky mouth, as usual. He still retained a sense of pride after all, he needed it... He bet the well-being of a world that he would annialate any opponent put in front of him; if he won the world would be cleared of all its debt. He succeeded, but none of the opponents faced matched Kia's power... So the event meant nothing to him.

As the girl attempted leaving, his own saddness had re:created itself. He the stood up and grabbed her hand. "Stay please? I think I know what'll make ya feel better Kia." He put up a frontal grin. The plants in his hand would prove useful now~

Kia smiled when Mifune told her to stay with him, She turned around and gave him a nod before walking back to the tree and proceeding to sit down. The teenager looked over to Mifune, wondering what he had in mind to cheer her up, "So, what do you have in mind, Mifune?" She asked the Greek boy as she regarded the plants, then him.

With the natural ego boost Kia released, a tigt pressure seemed to lift off the boy. Thank the gods. Now he could officially act like his rebellious teen angstness, a thing that generally appeared on occasion. Though he keeps most of it hidden.

Mifune scratched his cheek as she spoke, and then made a devilish smile. Crossing his arms he answered with coy~
"We're gonna smoke them. I heard they make people's minds' cleared, and make them feel good. So all we have to do is inhale and release, seems legit right?"

The boy began grinding and tearing the plants Into small bits. He then proceeded to wrap them in leaves. Before turning back to Kia with a smugly smirk. "So how about it?"

Kia shrugged and took the plant and wrapped them in leaves just like Mifune had done. She leaned back, placing it between her two fingers. After taking a whiff just like see she had seen people do, she started to feel funny. "Man, this stuff is pretty strong..." She stated as she took another whiff. After the second time, her thoughts had started racing. What in the worlds was she doing? Sure she had always asked herself that question, but now she sort of had an answer?

What was she doing with her life? She was a guard, almost had a boyfriend, and was just traveling the worlds in her futuristic Gummi ship. Was that all her teenage years had to offer? Fighting inhumane beings? Destroying shadows? Trying to paint yourself as a hero even though you haven't done anything remotely heroic? She was only fourteen and she had just killed someone that might have been human at some point. That needed another whiff.

After she took her third smoke, her racing thoughts had become even more rapid. She didn't want this life anymore, she didn't want to travel the worlds, she didn't want to see different things, it was starting to become dangerous, especially with the masked man who had particularly clear motives. Kia wanted to be a normal teenager, ugh, another whiff.

Kia closed her eyes and exhaled the smoke from both of her nostrils, that was uncalled for. A normal teenage girl, one that worried about what to wear at a party, hated homework, and had an eccentric group of girlfriends. This adventure stuff wasn't fun anymore, she knew she had to stop before she or the people whom she is surrounded by get seriously injured. Or even dead, another whiff...

"Mifune," Kia said, exhaling the remaining smoke before turning to him. "Have you ever thought that teenagers like us should have... Normal lives? Whoa, before you look at me like I'm crazy... Don't you think that if we continue this... Adventure stuff, do you think that dying before you turn twenty is even worth it?"

[Fade]

The Chief watched the girl wrap her lips around the homemade blunt. She appeared intent in her need for relaxation, so Mifune happily went to his own. Wasting the rare items was fine, he didn't even mind much anymore. Infact this would turn out to be a colossal times more fun. 

One huff, two huff. He didn't feel anything yet. Tck... He then stood up as If he were about to get infuriated but found it to fail. The adventurer immediately fell back to his knees in the sand as he blinked twice and felt his vision tilt dizzyly. He looked over to Kia who didn't quite look the same when he was smoking the plants...

Mifune shook it off, and went in and huffed again from the item. inhaling as he coughed a little. He could feel his head getting lighter. He looked over to Kia and her eyebrows turned into caterpillars and crawled away. "Holy fuck." He looked around the area and the colors were inverted. "Holy fuck." He knocked on his head and everything was normal.

He sighed in relief, and suddenly, he looked at Kia and she was the splitting image of Lenneth the La Vaes! "HOLY FUCK!" It was even weirder, since he had yet to meet that character... What a strange effect this plant gave off. 

To amswer Kia The Blonde Charm-lord. He spoke hesitant as he stared over at her... errr him? "Die? I'm Mifune Domen... I don't Die" He made a sarcastic nod up and down as he smiled to himself. Mifune was in DEEEEEEEEEEEP.
