White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Tsumiko Sun May 10, 2015 2:28 am

Silver-blue eyes turned upon Terra as he addressed the songstress' question. His answer had her sighing, tipping her head to the side. It wasn't particularly what she wanted to hear. “Great...”

Her mind began to wander. Just what was this place, and how did all of them get here? Where they the only ones here? Was someone really pulling the strings further in, or was it their imagination pulling tricks on them? So many questions swirled in her mind all at once, but one thing remained clear. The castle and its foreign white halls posed a threat.

With that thought, Tsumiko's eyes drifted to the little blonde in their party. He was trying to jump up seemingly into the ceiling. Perhaps he was trying to investigate Darius' sudden disappearance in his own way. It brought a small smile to her lips, watching the boy. He was naive in personality, innocent in mannerisms. Almost like a carefully sheltered child. She just hoped that she could prevent him getting any further injuries. Him and Terra both. While the Keyblader seemed competent enough in combat, as shown with his fight against the heartless, but he seemed to question himself and his skill. She'd have to watch and assist from now on to ensure everyone stayed safe.

But how long was it going to be until they were free from there? When were they going to find- “Ya the exit!” The sound of Sitri's excited voice pulled Tsumiko from her thoughts. Her eyes darted to his frame as it faded into the darkness the door held. Terra called out to him, but it seemed as though the blonde wasn't listening. Nodding in response to the brunette's statement.

“May as well. Not like there's any turning back. Right? Though I kinda can't help but want whatever it is to show itself already and stop messing with us,” Tsumiko said. With a sigh, she ran for the door, intent on scolding Sitri for running off when it could be really dangerous.

(creative liberty hope no one mind spicy it up, let me know if you do so I can change)

As little sitri ran he seemed to quickly over take the distance past Terra’s and Tsum’s efforts which was good, children being a little faster then their elders was something to note when picking finer details for Len to use later on, age seemed to effect humans a lot more differently then heartless. Quickly reaching the door it was in utter darkness though Lenny could easily see what was beyond the door and he couldn’t believe the designs that were playing out before him. Still Len had to play it as though he was unaware of it, signing and getting his distress fully acting chops to the tests. Crossing through the door way Len quickly then step through and landed on nothing, no ground nothing to hold onto as the child like prince fell into an empty space of empty shadows.

“GAhhhh!!” Lenny’s shouted as it echoed down further and further down into the unseen abysses, heightening just how far down it was as he descended. Thankfully a sudden thud of weight a few meters below crackled as a loud sound as Len’s body landed on a small cube of mass. Laying on his side on those wounds and lightly painting it red Len felt the motion of the floating cube carry him up and around the door way’s structure, examining what was before him.

He wonder about this place and just what sort of purpose this kind of defense was meant to be protected. It was an entire room massive, too much of the degree that it seemed to stream endless in every direction with no ending in sight for any level of natural vision. The floor was absent leading into a shadow that Lenny could not clearly see the bottom of, it mirrored the high ceiling that lead to a heaven as bad as the hell below and an ocean of emptiness at the sides. And yet while lacking a proper path this room offered something else of interest, hundreds if not thousands of floating large size white cubes much like the one Lenny had landed on. They were all unique in size and motions as they floated in their own way, some moved at great speeds in still while others very slowly while rotating into different sides and pretty much everything in-between. Their appeared to be one feature they all shared at least, each looked to only travel along one path over and over again before repeating the same pattern over and over all over the room. An few floating spheres moved in mixing in with the cubes, moving much faster and even emitting a dim light from time to time.

Seemed like a strange puzzle room or sorts, there didn’t appear to be many other means of crossing this space then by a game of leap frog but the distances to travel across them was constantly changing. Further down much further as Lenny had to focus his incredible sights into the void he could see something like floating arch ways in different spots that scattered along the distance, turning they all seemed to be similar to the one he had just crossed behind him were his test subjects were yelling at him to be carefully. Lovely Lenneth thought as he rolled his eyes and stood back up waiting to see their reactions.

“…I’m ok!(ouch...) Wow his place is cool!!”

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Keyblade Warrior Terra Tue May 12, 2015 5:44 pm

((Lore staff [which is literally just...me...] approves of the white box room! Carry on.))

Keeping his breath paced with his running after the child, the brunette watched as he vanished into the shadowy corridor. For a moment, Terra almost thought to skid to a halt, to not enter the unknown darkness ahead, but he knew that his priority was to keep Sitri safe. He still worried for Tsumiko, but she'd proven she was capable in a pinch. As much as he hated it, as much as he was afraid, the Keyblade Warrior knew he'd have to enter whatever was waiting in there for him.

Turning around quickly, he stopped just before the threshold, and held out a palm to Tsumiko. He was doing everything he could to mask just how uncomfortable he was behind a stoic, stern face, but deep inside, he was trembling. This looming sense of danger that he had deep, deep in his stomach...the Heartless, the Darkness...it did something that nobody and nothing else had ever done to him before. It filled him with a sense of terror so strong, that it made him want to be sick.

"Take my hand. Darius isn't here to light our way anymore. I don't want us getting separated."

That, of course, was a lie. He was afraid. He was stressed. He was angry. He was confused. He was lost. All he wanted were answers. All he wanted was for someone to point the way for him. All of these new things and people he was experiencing, all these new friends, he didn't want to lose them. He didn't want to put them in harm's way. As much as he loved all of this, this new life he'd been given, he didn't want it. He'd been made into such a great warrior so suddenly, and now, ironically, all he wanted was peace.

They were being pressed for time now. Who knew what was going to happen to Sitri the longer they waited?
"Keep behind me." He said, gently. "Hold on, Sitri! Stay where you are!"

Trailing not too far behind the Keyblader, Tsumiko followed him from one end of the hall to the other. The yell that came from a falling Sitri was cause enough for her to quicken the pace. As they neared the doorway that lead into the darkness, she was quite ready to jump in blindly and make quick work of rescuing the boy. It was only when the man in front of her came to a stop that she found herself doing the same. Terra had turned to face her, holding out an open hand towards her.

A simple gesture, that hand. Coupled with the confident air he bore, Tsumiko really had no reason to be hesitant. For some reason, however, she was. Not for the fact that she didn't trust the brunette, but because she was afraid of what might happen as a result, what could happen to the two males present there with her. Right now wasn't the time to cave in to her insecurities.

After the hand was held out to her, only a few seconds passed before she raised her own and slipped it into Terra's grip. Tsumiko wasn't sure if it was her imagination or reality, but the self-assured gaze she received had a positive effect on her nerves. Tightening her fingers on his hand, she smiled and gave him a firm nod. Without giving either of them much time to have second thoughts, the songstress leaped feet first into the darkness. The sensation of falling had sent her senses of survival into a fritz.

It wasn't until her silver-blue eyes landed upon the white boxes that hovered in midair, strewn about the blackness. Everything was very black and white; it either existed or did not. That was the feeling that the songstress was getting. The way that the two of them were falling, however, they were going to miss the nearest white block. Who knew when the next one was going to be available, if there even was one. When this realization was made, Tsumiko wanted to panic, wanted to flail and scream. But the hand in hers reminded her that there was a task at hand and being a blundering idiot wasn't an option, no matter how scared she was.

With her left hand being occupied, the songstress raised her right out to her side, angled way from the platform, and summoned a ball of concentrated mana to her upright palm. With a dull boom, the ball burst with wind magic that acted as a propulsion mechanism. Unintentionally, it blasted her right into Terra; though it did sent them in the right direction and closer to the white box. She just hoped that it was enough to make it.

If my dragging Terra down with me is disapproved of, I'll gladly edit... XD

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Lenneth Thu May 14, 2015 2:42 pm

Hearing their voices Lenny stayed put as he was instructed, sitting along the edge of the cube as it made its rounds around the frame of the door a few times just floating like a happy like piece of magical stone that it was, it was like a up and down themed merry go round and really slow, Len was a man of speed and power so this as kinda a bore of ride.

“Okie dokie!”  replying back.

There was still the wonderment of this place that interested the charm lord right then, such a complex room to navigate through and in the darkness in less. One step and someone could find out just how far down this place went. Terra even mentioned not being able to see in the darkness without their fourth vanishing party member which enforced just how helpless these two were so he shouldn’t treat them as too special.   Outside his looks and the fact it was a keyblader Lenny wonder jus how much importance he had placed on this man to put up a charade like this, then again Lenny did want to find a simple way to move about the realm without being notice so he may keep this as personal skin for a while.  Moving over the edge Lenny kick his feet over the ledge and started to tap along the stone against his heel just for his friends to find out where he was as the moved. Watching now as the stone Len set on floated above the door frame finishing its clockwork motion to see them fall just as he did though with nothing to close below them to catch it like Lenny’s good “timing” they fell faster then stones into the distance.

“Terra! Tsumiko!” He cried out while looking over in apparent horror. Oh well there goes those experiments, jeez that was quick, now about those other doors in the distances and the ones higher above him. It was then as little sitri was about to move away did a hint of mana flash down below, spotting it quickly the heartless king saw the girl expel some sort of magical force to the side and push both herself and terra into a nearby block just at the edge of it as it moved away from them. They managed to get on thankfully he supposed. Though something was odd about their stone once they touched it, once the girl had made physical contact with the white stone a sudden bright light flickered onto the white marble spring green, warm and vibrant yet allusive and free the stone would emit. It was a decently bright light source for the non-dark ones there to use, lucky them.

It was  interesting to see, the stone here reacted to something just now that didn’t react to anything that Len did. Though there methods of entry were pretty much the same, the only differences was the magic which could be interrupted as a nice path way but would needed to be explored further.  Seeing them there bathed in the light green glow Lenny had to express some concern freely even if he didn’t honestly have it.

“Are you guys ok?! How did you do that?”

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Keyblade Warrior Terra Thu May 14, 2015 6:30 pm

[Terra is very much okay with him being dragged!]

He felt his stomach jump up into his throat as Tsumiko jumped feet first into the unknown ahead of him. The force of her suddenly taking him forward jerked hard on his arm, although when his eyes adjusted to the darkness around them, he knew that was the least of his problems. They were falling into a deep, seemingly endless abyss, filled with cubes of white stone. Terra could practically taste his heart as it beat with terror next to his tonsils. He winced as one of them narrowly missed hitting him in the head, but then realized that they would be falling forever if they didn't grab one quickly.

Twisting around, he could see Sitri out of the corner of his eye, perched at an impossibly high place from where they were at. There was no way to reach any of these structures without some kind of grappling device, or wind magic, neither of which the Keyblade Warrior had. He had to get Tsumiko to Sitri, at the very least...If they were together, they could find some way of escaping this place... He could find some other way out, he was sure...
He wasn't sure at all -- but he didn't want Tsumiko in here with him, not falling forever in a place like this -- there had to be some other way...and he was running out of time to think...

Thankfully, the songstress was already thinking ahead of him. He noticed the burst of energy from her, just as the force of the blast slammed her into him, launching them both upright. Terra gripped on her hand, hard, worried he might let go if he hit anything else. The power of whatever magic she'd casted was just enough to boost them to the edge of one of the lowest cubes, and the brunette cried out with strained relief as his hand caught it in its grasp. He hadn't even noticed how the rock had lit up the second he'd touched it.
Terra dangled from the edge, brow furrowed with the effort, his hold on Tsumiko like steel. He was strong, both in heart and in body, but the young man knew he couldn't keep this position up forever. He could already feel the sweat on his palm working against him. Glancing down at the girl, he tried to make his voice as calm as he could, given the circumstances.

"Climb up," he told her, his voice shaking with the physical struggle. "G-get up to the top. I can't hold us both for long..."
The youth could already feel his muscles burning for every moment he held on, but he continued to push himself. He'd have time for being tired when there weren't people's lives literally hanging in the balance. Right arm rippling with the labor of lifting her, Terra grunted, pulling her up to the point where her arms could get around his neck. He couldn't boost her up enough to reach the edge of the cube himself...and he was terrified if he tried to let her, she'd lose her grip and fall.
"G-Go...hurry up...I can hold myself..."
He had enough energy to keep this up a while longer...

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Tsumiko Sat May 16, 2015 4:53 am

The sudden halt to their decent sent a wave of relief throughout Tsumiko's body, but a pain into her hand. Terra had a vice grip on it, and thankfully so. It was the only thing stopping the songstress from plummeting into the dark unknown below. Looking down, there was nothing to see except for her dangling legs. Not even the mysteriously illuminated stone made anything remotely definable. It was unnerving, to say the least. The sight alone was enough to send her into a minor panic, questioning the soon-to-be future with 'what if's'.

Terra's struggling voice recalled her attention. Looking up at him with her fear quite present, he did well to hide his strain though not thoroughly. If only she had put a little more power into the blast, they would have made it. Tsumiko withheld a good chunk of oomph to avoid blasting anyone's eardrums out and so that they didn't fly by the cube and miss it entirely.

True, the situation called for quick thinking and there wasn't a whole lot of time to respond, but just a little more and they would have made it. A miscalculation on her part. But if she hadn't just jumped into the darkness, they wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place. Her carelessness was going to get someone killed one day.

The grip on her hand shifted as the brunette lifted her higher, leveling out at his shoulders. Immediately, her free hand reached out to him, wishing to latch onto something stable. When Tsumiko's other hand was released, it too shot to cling to him. Her face was buried into the back of his neck, eyes clamped shut. She couldn't help the trembling her body produced as a result of her fear. Forget the bottomless pit of uncertain doom beneath them that could have dangers the world has never seen, it was the height that got her. The songstress had always had a fear of heights that made her freeze up. There was only ever one location in which she could handle being high up, and that was a specific section of the wall in Radiant Garden. It blew her mind, but it never seemed to bother her.

“I'm sorry, Terra. I'm so sorry,” she whispered, unsuccessfully trying to relax her tense voice and her flipping stomach. Over and over, she repeated her words almost as if begging for forgiveness. She knew that the weight of her hanging from him was putting a lot of unnecessary strain on him, but she was afraid to move. The ledge wasn't too far away now and she could surely reach it and climb up, assisting Terra after she did so. That would have been the proper course of action, but the only energy her muscles seemed capable of exerting was to shake from the tension caused by her fear.

The echoing voice of Sitri reached her ears from somewhere in the distance. She wanted to call out to him and say that everything was alright, but in all honesty she had no idea if they would be. Terra even said himself that he couldn't hold on for very long. If they fell, it was going to be all her fault. Even then, Tsumiko couldn't will herself to move, continuing to mumble apologies to Terra.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Lenneth Mon May 18, 2015 3:23 am

Looking down as he called out the little sitri could see how much trouble the two down there were having, it was like their own little party and the two of them were only one’s invited. If it wasn’t life or whatever else was down there Lenny might have been a little jealous.  Watching Terra hold his weight showed his strength with such a loose grip and unexpected grab so a quick reaction was needed, the girl was a little less then brave from the looks of it clinging on the back of the man while the darkness below called to them inching for their strength and light to fade into red. A little less then what he could expect from them so far but giving this was a surprise even for Lenny he would give them the benefit of the doubt.

Now what to do that was the question that was floating in Len’s mind while slowly reacting to their misery, to be honest it was really fun seeing the humans being put through such stressfully circumstances in a similar way that have put him through it, not to mention the heartless fearing their own pray in that manner. So having it end right then? Hmm maybe later but right now this was getting funnier to watch, might be worth it more then to explore this dusty old place alone and find whatever else was here messing with them and dealing with it personally. Oh god was Lenny starting to fall pray to his own act? Seeing fun as more of a priority their learning something that may come in handy, well guess for today it would be fine. Shrugging it off it wasn’t often that he got to play around without some reasonability at the back of his mind.

Conjuring the darkness Lenny formed it thick stack and bared it into his hand, peeking over the edge of his own cube he quickly jammed in through the stone and then formed four hooks to dig into the marble to stick it in there tightly while weaving a thread like robe out of more shadows with his hands, the stone lit a dark purple lightly from its white marble shell unsurprising, it seemed his guess was right about it reacting to magic. Tugging on the rope Lenny quickly grappled down lower, finding his distance well enough even as his originally cubed moved up and down.  Swinging Len himself on a to higher still cube that was a fairer bit higher then the one terra’s and tsum was one Lenneth would then continue to spin the threads into a longer and longer rope like construct down towards his tortured teammates, waiting each time the starting point moved up and crafting only when it was lowering.

“Terra Tsumiko! Grab onto the rope once it gets to you! The cube should move upward and pull you at least onto the one your standing on”

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Keyblade Warrior Terra Tue May 19, 2015 12:25 am

Terra could already feel his hands slipping on the cold, smooth surface. Tsumiko wasn't budging. Her fear had taken a grip on her heart, preventing any sort of movement or action. The way she spoke, the Keyblade Novice could hear the terror, palpable in her voice. Like the sweat accumulating on his brow, it dripped from every word she whispered.
With the songstress's worry now noticeable, the brunette began to feel his own fears creeping up on him. Whatever was down in the darkness below couldn't be good...perhaps it was nothing at all.

Squinting hard in concentration, straining to pull himself upright, the young man noticed something as he glanced up at Sitri's position...at least, where he thought he'd spotted him. Layers of thick, inky darkness were beginning to move and form, causing a lump in Terra's throat. This had been a trap. Something in this room had been waiting for them to enter, and now, it was poised to strike. Wincing at the idea of fighting only so soon after combat, and with waning power in trying to get back onto solid ground, Terra put his full focus into his efforts. He needed to get to safety...for the sake of his friends.
Tsumiko still clutched to his back. There wasn't enough strength in his reserves to try another attempt at getting her to move. He was running out of time.

Grappling hard onto the girl's wrist, he pulled as hard as he was able, doing his best to yank her steel grip from his back side. Once again, he was dangling with only one hand, his arm shaking with the aching effort. His whole body was trembling with the exerted strain.
Terra took a long look, perhaps longer than he should have, into the songstress's eyes. He did his best to put on a smile through all the agony his muscles were going through, though he may have looked slightly constipated in the attempt.
"Catch up to...Sit-Sitri," he grunted. "I'll...I'll be back in a little while, okay?" The male tensed himself, readying for his next move. It'd take all his concentration and power to achieve the right angle, and he didn't dare miss.
"I'll come back," Terra told them both, nodding with shaky breaths. "I've got...a light, to lead me back...t-to my friends, ev-even in the blackest darkness."

With a cry of exertion that surprised even himself, the Keyblade Novice swung Tsumiko upwards with all of his might, praying to whatever force of fate that she'd grab hold of the cube's surface and be alright. His right hand was swimming in the sweat of its palm, fingers and knuckles red with the weight they'd been holding. Bit by bit, skin slid away from solid stone, until once again, Terra found himself falling into yet another dark, terrible abyss.

But it was neither as long, nor as terrible, as one might've thought. Instead, the youth discovered that he was, in fact, still very much alive. Alone, trapped in a gray void, floating in suspension, but still breathing. Or, perhaps this was some form of Limbo, who was to say? He couldn't be dead...everything still ached. His back hurt from Tsumiko climbing on it. His arms and hands were throbbing in pain. No, he was still alive.
"Where...?"

Stay asleep.
Jolting upright, Terra struggled to keep his balance in this new place. Floating was still a new concept, and while he wobbled now and then, his feet never seemed to touch the ground. His eyes looked around, but there was still now as there was in the dark hallways and the rest of the castle...nothing. Nothingness, for what seemed like eternity.
"Who's there?"
You should remain asleep. Here, between Light and Dark. You came drifting here. You did not have the strength to overcome the Darkness, or perhaps you were close to it.

The other stiffened, this voice, not like the other that had visited his thoughts before, triggering his anger.
"I'm strong enough to face anything out there...I don't want anything to do with the Darkness but destroy it!"
Turn away from the Light. Shut your eyes here, blanketed by the Darkness. Sleep, is safety. Sleep, is eternal.
"No thanks," Terra muttered. "Not a fan of the Dark."
If you insist.

In a sudden, bright flash of light, a single object appeared. Flat, azure, and floating in the air, it seemed to pose no harm. Its shape was familiar, and yet, unusual to him.
"What's this?" He questioned.
It is a key to the truth. Take it, and you end your sleep. But know this...the truth will bring you pain. Will you still go? There is no return to the security of sleep.
With a smirk, the Earthshaker plucked the object between his fingers without a second thought.
"I don't care about the pain, whatever it might be. I've got places to be, and friends to get back to," the male said, confidently. "Besides, this seems like a boring place to take a nap anyway."

Without warning, Terra felt the air around him shift. The void had become another blank hallway...however...this section of the castle appeared dark, instead of bright white like the ones before. Everything was a purplish ebony, though styled in the same manner as the halls he'd encountered before. There was no door behind him, this time...only one standing in his path.
His eyes caught a glimpse of the flat object in his hand, and the Keyblade Novice took a closer look. There was nothing on either face of these cards, save a marking that seemed...heart-breakingly familiar to him. Styled in slight similarity to that of the emblem the Heartless had, the sleek, silver design bore the heart shape, but its base was a different form.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Keyblade_Master_Emblem

Now that he looked around the room...this symbol was etched everywhere. Each column had one at the top and the base. The floor tiles, right before each door, had the same marking. Even the ceiling tiles showed the pattern. He hadn't noticed it before, simply believing it to be part of the decorum and nothing more. Maybe this "key" to the truth was just something else to mess with his mind, a device concocted by whoever owned this castle.
"There doesn't seem to be any other way out of here," Terra muttered aloud.
There isn't. The only way to continue your journey, is to move forward. If you are as strong as you claim, Keyblader...you'll understand that this...is merely one of your many tests.

The youth froze. The voice knew about the weapon, like the other before it. However...Terra didn't entirely trust this one in the same way.
"This isn't a game. I want answers! Show yourself! Bring me to my friends, do something but talk in riddles!"
Now is not the time. If you so desperately want to see them again...the only thing stopping you, is you, Terra.
Simmering, the other grumbled under his breath, and sighed as he put the Ends of the Earth to the face of the door before him.
"Nothing is going to keep me from protecting them," He said firmly, as the gateway opened into another dark corridor. Without hesitation, the brunette stepped through the threshold, and continued on his way.

...If you only knew how dangerous you truly were to them...Them, and everybody and everything else...

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Tsumiko Wed May 20, 2015 7:07 pm

Being that her eyes were clamped shut, Tsumiko couldn't see much of anything. Her panic had numbed a good majority of her other senses as well, though she could still hear little Sitri's voice calling out to them to grab some sort of rope. Feeling Terra's body shift under her, the songstress dared to look up. Though what he was aiming for wasn't what she thought it would be.

Instead of whatever the little blonde was offering, Terra reached his hand towards one of hers and pried her off him. It was soon after a short scream that Tsumiko was dangling once again, secured only by the vice grip Terra had upon her. Choosing not to look down, her teary silver-blues shot up to look at the Keybader. He was looking down at her, his smile not doing much to hide the obvious strain she was putting on his body. As he started speaking, she could feel herself shaking her head, fresh beads beading in her eyes. She didn't like where this was going. She didn't like that tone in his voice.

“Terra, don't... Please do- AH!”

Without further warning he swung her upwards. His grip on her was released as her rib cage slammed into the edge of the glowing green cube. The smooth surface failed to give her any grip and she began sliding back. Again, she could feel herself panicking. It was then that a black rope dropped into her line of sight. Tsumiko through out her hand, curling her fingers around it just as her body was reaching the edge of the cube. Quickly, her other hand joined in latching onto the rope, holding on for dear life. The side of her body bumped into the cube a few times as she was raised by the upward motion of Sitri's block. They were moving, but the distance between the two never changed. She used this as a focal point, looking up at the little blonde to stop herself from gazing down into the bleakness below.

When she was high enough to safely stand on the cube, her feet touched down with a gentle tap. Standing near the center, she collapsed to her knees. First Darius disappeared to who knew where and now Terra had fallen into an unknown darkness. He... He promised to come back, but unless there was some sort of miracle plush at the bottom, Tsumiko didn't see him surviving that kind of fall. And it was her fault. She had placed him in a difficult situation, frozen by fear. He did what he had to to ensure her safety and in the meantime had put himself in danger.

For a short while, she sat there, feebly whimpering to herself. Wiping her tears with one of her sleeves, she turned to look up at Sitri to see if he was alright. She wasn't alone. As much as she wanted to cry and pity herself, there was still someone that needed to be looked after. Taking a single, calming breath, she looked up at him with a small smile. Noticing, though not consciously recognizing, the purple hue the boy's cube was.

“I-I'm sorry, Sitri. I don't mean to cry,” Tsumiko said, cautiously getting to her feet. “But I'm fine now. We'll get out of here, and we'll find Terra. H-He... He said he'd come back, so we have to keep going until he does. Then we can all go home.”

She felt as though her words were more aimed to herself, a selfish way of cheering herself up. All she could do was hope that the brunette was indeed safe and was making his way safely. For now, her focus needed to remain on the problem at hand. How is the worlds was she going to make it to Sitri, or any other block for that matter, without repeating her earlier mistake? There was a sizable gap between every cube, though close enough for an athletic enough person to jump them. Looking around, it did appear that the layout of the blocks was a puzzle-esque, leading to an exit. They shifted at different paces, some not at all. She hated puzzles, but was up for the challenge.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Lenneth Fri May 22, 2015 3:12 am

Just working along Lenny managed to weave the threads further down into a stable rope before Lenny nearly leap forward seeing the little display below. The keyblader had thrown the girl upward onto the block with the last bits of his strength even so far as to disregard the dangling life line that he had created for the of them, it seemed he had overestimated Terra’s strength despite the impressive build. Dammit what a waste, it was a curious wonder as to why a person would give up their lives for such a strange fear of whatever had just appeared. Holding himself still it seemed that the songstress was also about to fall down as her body barley was able to hang on the edge of the green stone as well, such a undeeded effort to even come back the little heartless thought. Or so it seemed until whatever she was fighting internally gave out and she grabbed onto the rope being pulled up into safety unfortunately. Rolling his eyes the little prince of darkness slide down the rope soon after she had stood back up and let go of his construct, meeting her tearfully expression as they move stood on the same block with a unbroken stillness.

He wasn’t sure how exactly to react to her sobs now that the usefully one had just dropped down into the abyss and it didn’t look like she might be usefully for anything else right then so maybe it be best to just put her out of her misery right now, reading to strike Lenny almost lift up his hand and stired his magics to blast her into a similar grave with the better looking keyblader down below. However as he did something else came into his notice that held back his actions, Lenneth could still feel something of a hint of Terra’s heart still present somehow, it was far and small but it certainly his at some distance away from them. Easing himself away he believed sparing the girl for moment longer might be conveniently for controlling terra’s heart still when the chance present itself. He placed down a sorrowfully expression, not looking directly at her gaze while conniving some form of guilt.

“I’m sorry miss Tsumoko I didn’t mean to run off like that I just thought…I’m sorry. No matter what I’ll make sure we find terra again” Finishing his words he still shook his little body a bit before trying to scout around, at the same time mentally command some heartless to find and keep an eye out for Terra on the levels of this castle. They could play with him from time to time but not all at once, Len didn’t want to lose his eyes on this pretty man again.

Looking around to see just where their current locations was Lenny had to remember there was only two sources of light there to play with while acting human, the green lit cube they stood on and the purple one off above them he just came from. A stroke of luck there was a cube a closer distance away that didn’t move and appeared to be in sight range of their light soruce…he thought at least. It was closer to a platform that went side to side before reading a series of cubes forming into a makeshift staircase a few feet closer to a door then where they were at right now. Turning quickly Lenny conjured and threw a small thin piece of darkness like a dagger at the starting club at their height level, hitting it with ease as it dug down the marble to light it into a deep purple illuminating the area around it somewhat.  He kneeled down over to the side of there’s and planted another dagger of darkness in firmly before waving the thread outwardly connecting the two. He would then step onto the thine  piece of rope and balance himself with little effort before crossing it, waiting at the middle section for the bait to hopefully follow.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Keyblade Warrior Terra Thu May 28, 2015 1:00 pm

He didn't recognize this place, either. The open hallway led to an expanse of tan tiles, curving upwards into the ceiling. Stained glass windows filtered in a gentle light from outside. There, at the end, sat three chairs on an elevated platform. The same marking was on every column of this place, just as it had been in the Castle, in the same spots. Unlike the interior of the place he'd just left, however...this room did not give him a sense of sadness or dread.
Quite the opposite, he felt at ease. Somehow, he was happy to see this place...though why he felt that way, or how he knew it, was beyond his grasp.

"Hello again, Terra."
The Keyblade Warrior might've toppled over in sheer shock had he not steeled himself for a confrontation. The words spoken had belonged to the same voice that had addressed him in the room he'd meant to be sleeping in, but its owner...
It was a person, to be sure, but Terra was hardly hanging onto the concept. The appearance of this individual was warped, constantly shifting in place, like a fragmented piece of code. Sometimes, he'd see clear pieces of someone in certain parts of this...cluster of movement, and other times they were broken and twisted. In any case, there was no real telling who, or what, this person really was.

For a moment, this individual's face took the appearance of a multitude of different faces at once, all of them looking disappointed, and nodding. To Terra, they all seemed...so familiar...
"I see you don't recognize me. I should have expected that," the figure said. "Of course, how could you see anything in here clearly, when everything I am showing you is merely a part of your memories?"

The brunette paused to think about that, as the area around them blinked out, as though someone had changed the channel. The room had become a beautiful mosaic opening, with a violet sky overhead and azure mountains to the far ends. It reminded him of Daybreak Town...but there was no castle there, which he could see off further ahead.
"These are places that, in another time, in another life, you've seen before," the other said. "But when time changed, they changed, too."
"I've been told time changed before by someone else," Terra said, hesitantly. He was far from trusting of this person, and was more than ready to fight if it came to it. "What happened that could have done so much?"

"Your memories may have been changed slightly," the figure continued, "but your heart is strong, Terra. It remembers pieces of what was. Those memories, are your true memories...and it is up to you to understand them. You alone hold the key to your own heart."
"My...true memories," the young man echoed, touching at his chest. His brow furrowed in thought. "I was told that something terrible happened, before all of this. I hurt people."
"I cannot say," said the shifting thing, briefly taking on the appearance of a bearded man with a blue robe and a pointed hat, before becoming static again. "I too, have been effected by the things that have come to pass. My own memories are splintered. I have tried to remember as much as I can, but have been unsuccessful in doing so. Something obstructs my path, yet I know without a shadow of a doubt, you and I are connected, deeper than either of us can fathom."
"Who are you, then?" Terra questioned. "Give me your name, I might remember then. You know mine, it's only fair!"
"I?" The other repeated, becoming a vile-looking woman with horns and green skin. "I have no name. I am merely a figment of someone who had one, left here, hoping one of my students would find it. You are not one of my pupils...at least, to my understanding, not in this time."

Not in this time?
"D-Does that mean, that before, I had a teacher?" Terra spluttered, the thought striking him in surprise. "You were my teacher--or erm, the real you--were my teacher? So I've always had a Keyblade," he continued. "That's why it feels so...right. Part of me remembers, from before."
"Time can change," the figment stated plainly. "But I believe that Destiny is immutable. Whatever fate you had in whatever life we lived before, will be difficult, if not entirely impossible, to avoid."
"I don't want to hurt people," the brunette insisted. "I want to protect them! That's what Keyblade Warriors do!"
"Not all of them did," said the other, becoming the young blonde boy Terra had seen before in his visions. "There was a time, not long ago, when Keyblade Unions clashed with one another. Thousands of Keyblade Warriors fought, over the Light, and that brought a terrible Darkness to the worlds. There were once five unions, each with Overseers to guide them, and Masters to teach those who came to their cause...and they are all but destroyed."
The youth absorbed this information in stunned silence.

"I was very young," the figure continued. "When I joined the Ursus Union in the hopes I could protect others. At one point, there were five of us: The Ursus, the Agnius, the Unicornis, the Vulpeus, and the Leopardos. There was no fighting, until the Agnius and Leopardos Unions rose up, to claim the Light for their own...A terrible war was waged on the fields of a world they destroyed, with their experiments...they brought the Heartless closer to the worlds, made them stronger, believing they could conquer the Darkness and use it to their own gains." The changing thing became a small child with silvery hair and deep blue eyes before him.
"When all had come to pass, and the Unions were lain in pieces, I vowed never to ignite such a terrible battle again. The Unions were disbanded, and those who held the Keyblade became one force to protect the Light, instead of collecting it for ourselves. To share it, with all the worlds, and keep them from the terrible thing we in our greed brought upon them."
"Unions," Terra repeated. "So there's more Keyblade Warriors, more Masters I can learn from! Please," he begged, "you've got to tell me where I can find a Master, to teach me! I need to know what I'm doing, to help people!"

"I know only where my original self is," said the changing one. "And even then, it is but a mere guess. I'm only a fragment of the thoughts of my creator, and your own memory."
"Then tell me!" The orphaned soul pleaded, eyes tearing with the mounting frustration. "Where can I find him? Where can I learn more?"
"To do that, you would first need his name, and his face," the other told him. "I cannot give you, what you yourself lack. Give me a face, his face, and I will tell you what you need to know."
With that, the room, the figure, and the card in Terra's hand, disappeared. Only a singular door remained.

The youth bared his teeth, the anger seething through his entire being.
"How am I supposed to give you a name and a face...when my own memories...mean NOTHING TO ME?!" He shouted in a pure rage. There was no response. Not even an echo came to greet him.
After a few minutes of furiousness, Terra calmed himself, breathing deeply.
"I guess...there's no other way out, then. ...I'll just have to figure out who this guy is myself."
Another card appeared in his hand, suddenly, and the male observed it. It was identical to the first.
"These cards are made from my memories. If I use them, go through them, I can do more than just play a guessing game with this guy..." He said, quietly. "I can finally learn what's going on."

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Tsumiko Sun May 31, 2015 7:20 am

Looking at Sitri and the sadness he held in his expression, the songstress couldn't help the resulting guilt that built. Her self pity had seemed to bring him down in spirits, and his little body shook despite him trying to comfort her. She was thankful for his efforts and so pushed a smile to her face.

“No, there's no need for you to be sorry, Sitri. But thank you. I'm sure we'll find him again, sooner than we know,” she said, taking a deep breath and getting to her feet. In the process, the songstress made the mistake of peering down into the dark abyss below. She had to close her eyes in response to the woozy feeling that overcame her, trying to ward it away as she did.

Opening them again, she took a deep breath and was in time to see the little blonde lodge a shadow dagger into a block some way off. It made her her curious as to why the cubes glowed. The two cubes that Sitri had touched with magic glowed with a deep purple, and the one she had touched emitted a bright green. She could only assume that they reacted to something within them, like their intentions or their spiritual energies. Perhaps their mana directly. Tsumiko pondered the meaning behind the color of Sitri's blocks, as well as the dark nature of his magic. She wasn't one to judge someone on trivial traits such as though, and only ones' character through person interaction. Tsumiko had reason to suspect Sitri of anything as of that moment, but from experience, those with dark magic typically weren't of the best disposition.

Scolding herself for doubting the boy, Tsumiko was suddenly pulled from her mental commentary when she seen that the little blonde had begun to cross the gap between blocks via a tight-wire act. “W-What are you doing!? Be careful!” Tsumiko started to reach out to him, stalled only when she reached the edge of the cube. Sitri paused about midway and turned to look in her direction. He'd be met with terrified eyes, which quickly shifted to ones of forced calm. The fact that he could balance like he was, was amazing and the songstress was in awe and shock. Suddenly concerned, she motioned for him to continue to the other side. “K-Keep going... I-I'll be over in a second...” she stuttered, realizing that she was going to have to cross at some point if she was going to leave the room.

She had to stop herself from looking down and furthering her already shaky nerves. Instead, she looked up, into the equally deep darkness above her, and then to the side, towards whatever cubes she could make out. She was scared, yes, but she feared being left alone in such a place even more, and of being left behind. She feared something happened to Sitri if she wasn't present to help prevent it. ”Ok, Tsumiko... You can do this. It's just a little gap. Nothing major. Could probably just jump it, if you really wanted to. A-And there's a floor...somewhere down there. A l-lot closer than you think!” she thought, giving herself a mental pep talk. She waited until the blonde has completely crossed the distance. ”A young boy could do it, so can you. Quit being a baby.” Shaking out her tense muscles, she readied to cross.

Looking at nothing but the blonde across the way, she jerked forward without any further thought and placed a foot on the dark thread. One step, two steps, Tsumiko's nervous demeanor butchered her typically graceful balance and her legs began to shake. With a huff, she propelled herself the rest of the way and landed on the cube. The landing itself was shaky, ending with her planting both feet into the glowing purple box. Sighing in relief, she was swept with a wave of pride. As usual, if she didn't give herself time to think, there was no time to hesitate. Proud, she turned her bright smile up to Sitri, emanating what she felt with a giggle.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Lenneth Fri Jun 05, 2015 12:43 am

Moving along and waiting the heartless boy was a little stunned by the lass peering into his own eyes with such terror and words of reaching confusion?  It was strange to find someone that scared of a little measurements of space when they were in a controlled of their own situation, she had seen his heartless and they were much more a terror then anything down there, the fall would give you some free time before a final death his shadows would make sure a defeat was slow retribution from the harmfully light into the gentle darkness.  Tilting his head to express this back to her Lenny wiggled a little and waved some cheerfully motions that caused his line to shake while still he stood there in total balance, even holding himself on one foot while the other one.

“Its ok, I does this for a living back…home in the D-” Lenny turned away at the mention of the world, missing the great darkness for this strange in-between but had to stop himself before saying too much. Shrugging it off there much more work to be done and gauging from the state that the little girl was in she wasn’t going to be too much help until something dramatic would happen, even as a little kid Lenny felt the need to lead the weak through this just to bring what their poitenal giving the right push. Taking a look around Lenny turned towards the singing and waited till she was closer before speaking to her again, this time in a much more relaxed and focused tone.

“To get out of here we’ll need to understand this place first. It appears that the blocks glow when magic hits them or at least recently magical energies from the person, with enough shots we can let up this entire room though we should use select elements as they seem to give different colors.  Look above us there appears to be a very large island like the one that was holding the door, I’ll get to it and lower a rope for you. There has to be something there that helps us or should“

Nodded at her Lenny quickly jumped over to one moving stones that were close at hand with little time to give her to react, they have wasted enough time playing footsie already . The moving stones were moving in sync with each other forming stairs as they slide over top each other but soon moving back in place. There wasn’t room enough to play with this one so he had to show off a little more athletic ability Len though was quick enough to climb them before they knocked in him back, jumping to the island that stood above the songstress. What lay before him was a large closed door, much like the one that bared their path before.  Leaning on it the doors were pretty close shut. Moving back over to the edge Lenny started to conjure some more rope and security it safely down at the stone while figuring out what to do with the lock. The entire island lit with magic of Len’s purple color, at least lilting up the lower section of the room they were in and showing a bit more above, noticing this the light peaked up high showing the tower like nature of this room as it seem to go one for a while with many different islands he could see in the far darkness.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Keyblade Warrior Terra Sat Jun 06, 2015 2:09 am

Darkness suddenly gave way to Light, slowly shifting into some manner of room. It was exactly as the one he'd only just left...though...there was something distinctly different about this place. He felt...as though he wasn't alone.

Then, slowly, the entire scene glitched out, as though it had suddenly hiccupped, and before his eyes were several fuzzy figures before him. A dark-haired man with a scar and a long, flowing, white robe. The bald man, with the strange coat and the golden eyes stood beside him. The third chair was still empty. Glancing beside his position, Terra could see...the azure-haired woman he'd seen so many times before. She almost reminded him of Tsumiko, somehow...

"To--sssssssshk--day you will be...examined for the ma---ssssshk--rk of mastery," the distorted image of the scarred man said. His voice was just as garbled as the rest of his appearance. "Not one but ssssssssssshk two candidates have been chosen zzzzzzzzz to be appointed to the rank of Keyblade Master. This is -- neither a competition, nor a battle for supremacy -- not a test of sssssssssssssk wills, but a t-t-t-t-test of heart. Both of bzzzzzzzt you ma-y success, or nei-th-ther."
He turned to the bald man, acknowledging his presence. The room, the way everything looked, seemed to become worse and worse in quality suddenly.
"But I'm sure our guest, Ma--"

Without warning, an ear-splitting screech penetrated the brunette's hearing, sending a devastating headache into his skull. Clutching his head between his hands, the youth tried to drown out the sound, but no matter how hard he clasped his grip, the noise simply wouldn't go away. The figure of the scarred man was stuck in a loop, continuing to repeat this man's name without any sound other than the constant wailing of some inanimate, mechanical scream. For several minutes, Terra waited for the annoyance to stop, he pain becoming stronger as time passed. Then, it occurred to him that perhaps...it wouldn't stop, until he figured out what was causing the problem.

"What happened?" The lad thought to himself, between his headache and the noise. "Am...I supposed to figure out his name now? How...am I supposed to remember something I never learned?"

Just as quickly as it had began, the sound stopped, and the playback returned back to its normal running.
"But I'm sure our guest, Master--SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEE-EEEEE-EEEEEE--did not come all this way to see--bzzzzzt our youngest prospects in y-yea-years fall short of the mark. I trust you are ready."
"Yes Master!" The woman beside him said, firmly, in unison with his own voice.
Terra was taken aback. So these...were actually his memories. The ones that had been shifted and changed, from the time that never happened...He'd already been through this. He did know these people. He had been a Keyblade Warrior before--maybe even a master--and this man had been his teacher!

As slowly as it had come to him, now the room faded away, leaving only the bleak, empty halls of the Castle to have his company. There on the floor, sat another card, waiting for him to continue. Clicking his tongue with his teeth, Terra shook his head.
"I guess that...answered a few things."

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Raziel Sat Jun 06, 2015 9:14 pm

Agony. Pure and utter agony takes hold, digging in with razor sharp claws… scratching upon the surface… quickly moving deeper… and deeper. Fight… tried to fight… Twisting, clawing, biting, and crying… no use, hopeless. Make it stop. It continues… an eternity, consuming every limb... until. There, one final sharp pain, one last breath. All grows still, frozen in time. The light fades…the pain stops… everything is numb. Welcomed respite, no more hurt. Cries of sorrow echo… hard to hear… broken…

“This wasn’t— why did th—? I’m sorry. I’m so sor— my fault. Wait! Y-you’re fa— No, no, no… please!” the last scream… always deafening. “Raziel!”

Crimson eyes fluttered open, blinded by a familiar sea of white. It did not change. It never did. All of it was exactly the same. Sleep did not alter a single detail. Columns, vases, and flowers were all in their proper place. The floor was still cold too, uninviting, and yet there was no desire to really move either.

“Why?” a soft whisper was spoken, dull and monotonous, its owner lying motionless upon the center of the bright marble tile. Bearing locks of white, pale skin, and ivory clothes, it was no exaggeration to say he could pass himself off as a part of the castle’s décor.

The teen very slowly turned over onto his side, pulling his knees to his chest. How long had it been since his awakening? How long had he been stuck in the same white room? It was long enough to memorize every crease in its intricate pristine design. Who knows? Maybe time was not even a factor in the void room. The boy had little understanding of it, to be honest. There were many things he did not understand.

Although he appeared to be at least 14 or 15 years old, in reality, for his kind… he was only an infant. The teen was oblivious to this, however. Something was missing. Something very important, that he knew for certain, but what? There was no one to guide him in this new life—or lack thereof—he had been forced into. The poor guy didn’t know up from down hardly. The only thing he knew was that he woke up in a beautiful corridor, the same one that greeted him every day for the past few weeks.

Like a lost puppy, he had been walking (though in the beginning it had been crawling) up and down the flawless hall ever since his birth. At each end, his path was barred with two large golden doors. Both of which were apparently locked. No matter how hard he pushed on the doors, they would not budge. Eventually, he wondered why he even wanted to get past the barrier. Maybe this was all there ever was and he was just in it, and even if he did get past it, what then? No one else was here and there never had been. Probably never would be.

Where did I… even think I could go?  He thought, closing his eyes again, hoping that the sweet state of slumber would return to him.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Tsumiko Sun Jun 07, 2015 4:13 am

Looking at Sitri as he spoke, she was rather proud of how calm and rational he was being about the situation. The songstress felt rather ashamed of herself that she wasn't of a similar mind-set, and was so shaken by her fear. At his prompt, she looked up to see what he was referring to and saw the island in which he spoke of. Though she looked back to the blond as he mentioned going off on his way. Tsumiko didn't have enough time to properly stop him.

Reaching out a hand towards him, Sitri was already gone and on the next block and working his way up to the island. He was so nimble about it too, which further surprised the songstress. Soon enough, he was at the top and out of her viewing range. Though she was able to tell he was alright as the island glowed with the purple of the blonde's magic. Faintly, she could make out the shadowy rope that was beginning to lower down to her.

She felt a bit depressed that her nerves wouldn't allow her to follow Sitri to the island about. She wanted nothing more than to shake it out and amass the courage she needed. Sometimes, however, wants are not enough to move a stilled will, no matter how strong that want was.

Taking this time as she waited, she used the new light source and looked around. A larger number of the floating cubes were now noticeable. If that amount of light made things that much easier to see, Tsumiko wondered what it would be like if more of the blocks were light up. Perhaps there was more to see in the darkness than it let on.

Taking in a deep breath, Tsumiko focused her energies. She wasn't sure how much longer they were going to be there, but may as well be able to see in the meantime. Right? With this thought as her reasoning, the songstress let forth an omni-directional burst of magical wind. It brushed against a vast majority of the surrounding blocks with a light shade of green, and lit up the darkness even further. Looking around for just a moment, she turned her gaze upwards to see how Sitri was doing with his rope.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

As the rope lowered down further down it wouldn’t be much longer until it was in tsum’s hand and Len would have to play slow again to compensate though he only wanted to keep exploring right now.  The few precious moments before she managed to climb up were critical and he couldn’t look like he was intentional trying to delay it either. Quickly as his rope formed downward Lenny conjured up his key, summoning its dark design into has hand as a beam of black energy formed and shot out from the tip. Hitting the golden frame of the door with its dark light the huge frame shimmered in magic before an turning click loudly resonated outwardly opening the door in bright sequence. Shifting his keyblade away Lenny slowly walked at the sight laying out before him, a hall was white as the one they had just left now again was in front of them.  The revelation was a little anti-climatic for Lenny to see, he questioned the nature of this place and if it was really just messing with them now. Like seriously who would have the exact same architecture in a place this big in like the same three rooms that’s just lazy design.

Looking inwardly a little closer Lenny notice something out of place from this perfect marble palace, there appeared to be movement within this hall way though it was difficult to make out from the way the white glared all the light in a sickening fashion, whatever was moving also seemed to be blended into the whiteness fairly well to. It was then that darkness of this vertical tunnel lifted away from tsum’s magic, lighting their entire section up with a soft warm green and a ways further up as well to show case the various large island platforms presumably all having large gate leading to different parts of this place like a elevator shaft.

“Hey Tsum there is a large door up here and it just opened. It leads out into another hall like before cept this one is lit up and I think there is something moving in there. Its not black like those werid monsters but white actually”

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Keyblade Warrior Terra Fri Jun 12, 2015 2:40 am

Stupidly, insultingly short. Reasons.

It was all dark now. He couldn't see anything. Terra felt his heart jump into his throat. Was this some sort of trap? Worse, was it another memory he couldn't see? Was it important? Was it so corrupted by whatever had happened, that he couldn't access it? ...Had the voice that had spoken to him been right before, about his heart?

"A--SSSSSSSSHHHHHHK--pu-put an end to me..."
"Terra...tell me where to find you..."

It was so, so dark...
He could hear footsteps. He couldn't see. Was someone approaching?

"Terra?"
Something was in his hand...it wasn't his Keyblade. It was soft. It was warm. It was almost as though he were holding someone's arm.
It wasn't an arm. He could feel it move in his palm. The Keyblade Warrior had someone's throat in his hand... The brunette strained to let go, startled that it had appeared out of nowhere like that, but his body...his muscles wouldn't obey him.
Please, let me let go...whatever this is, I don't want any part of it!

But instead, his hand squeezed harder. He could hear a woman's voice now, straining for breath.
"Who...am I?"
Stop it....STOP IT! Is...is this what I do!? Do I kill this innocent woman?! Please...I don't want to remember this...I can't...Please tell me I don't do something as terrible as this... I couldn't. I wouldn't! I would never do anything like this!
"Such a terrible...darkness...Fight it Terra, please!"
"...Terra, you say?"

Without warning, a sharp, stinging pain ran through his head. If not for the fact that he were locked in place, Terra might have collapsed to the ground with its force. There was a pain in his chest, in his heart, and in his mind, that clawed at him no matter where he tried to retreat to, and no matter how hard he struggled against it. It felt as though something sharp and heavy were being thrown on top of him, and though he strained with all of his strength, he couldn't push it back. It reminded him, strangely enough, of the feeling he'd gotten from looking out from this castle gate...deep, and foreboding, and terrible.

"Terra's heart has been extinguished--smothered by the Darkness within him!"

KSSSSSSSSSHK-EEEEEEEEEEE-KSSSSSSSSSSSSHK

Gasping for breath, Terra stumbled out of the room. Sweat poured down from his brow as his body shook. Another card appeared in his hand as it trembled. From what specifically, he couldn't say--anger, fear, rage--perhaps all of them.
"...I don't want to remember any of this," he muttered, softly. Suddenly steeled with his anger, he looked up at the ceiling. "DO YOU HEAR ME?! I don't want to remember ANY of this! This isn't my life! This isn't my choice! I will NOT let this be what guides me--not you, not these memories--NONE OF IT!"

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Huh? was that a click he just heard? No, it couldn't be. It had to be his imagination. There had never been anything but silence in the ivory sculpted limbo. There was no point in looking. Nothing would be there, like it had been everyday. He had been there long enough to realize this. Regardless of what he thought, however, his body had this undeniable urge to move. Tight knots were forming in his back and shoulders, making them ache with his lack of movement. The last time he had even made the attempt to stand was days ago. Walking did not come easily to him for some reason; he couldn't remember why. It felt as if he had been laying there so long that he was beginning to turn into stone, and maybe he was. How could he know? A marble floor wasn't the best pace to take a nap, but it was all that the Nobody had or could really remember. Even if he was just imagining things again, he just decided to go with the illusions. There was nothing else to do.

Opening his eyes once more, the pale boy turned over onto his back before lifting himself up into a sitting position. Wrapping his arms around his knees, he stared ahead at the golden doors. The wide open doors. Wait, that wasn't right. Open? How could they be open? This really was a hallucination then. There was no doubt in his mind. Shielding his eyes from the bright light that had encompassed the room, he saw a small silhouette, perhaps two, but he couldn't really tell all that much. What did this vision mean? Did it have something to do with his past? No, that didn't make sense. This atmosphere wasn't one of weightlessness and cerulean freedom that he recalled from his memories. It couldn't be reality; he had already decided that, but... what else could it be? It was all too confusing for the young Nobody. Not knowing what else to do, the red eyed teen just stared, simply bewildered on what he was supposed to do.

Tsumiko quickly grabbed onto the shadow rope the moment it was within her reach. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and raised the other hand to it. Exhaling, she opened her eyes and hopped up. The songstress kept her focus on looking up, on reaching the top where Sitri was. She wouldn't allow herself to look down least she really wanted to impede her progress. She was curious to see what the little blonde had seen and wanted to see it for herself. That was her current goal. Get to the top to see for herself. Simple enough, right?

About two-thirds the way up, the songstress had to take anther calming breath for her nerves. She had to make this quick or she was going to her paralyzed with fear again. With that in mind, she quickly scaled the last bit of rope and climbed onto the island. Hoisting herself to her feet, Tsumiko noted the large, golden door that stood before her. On the other side, there was nothing but darkness and floating, now glowing cubes. Though looking through the doorway, one could see into another hall. Just as Sitri had mentioned, there was indeed something sitting down there at the end. With a quick glance at the blonde, she shrugged and entered with caution.

When Tsumiko got closer, she was able to make out that it was a person, sitting curled up on the floor. With this realization, she quickened her pace to shuffle up to them, though reminded herself to keep a little distance in the instance that they weren't a friendly. Given this situation, however, she didn't think it likely. It appeared much too similar to how she was found not too long ago for her to not have any sympathy. “H-Hello..? Are you alright?” she called to them, now taking smaller steps.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Gazing over as little Len’s eyes adjusted and zoomed in he saw the boy clear was white and even looking back at them. Though it came more of a surprised then anything considering Lenny didn’t feel any heart signature emitting for in this direction, even while looking directly at the figure of white he couldn’t seem to understand why. Unless this person didn’t have a heart to begin with nobodies did exist, meeting Thelen a few days back was enough proof of that. And it seemed like this boy fitted that bill or he had some manner of blocking his heart from being sensed somehow which he couldn’t question either.  Tsumiko finally made it up beside Stiri, greeting her with a simple nod he wondered a little further back as she took the lead in this great “Unknown” venture towards the lit hall of white.

Seeing the boy laying on the ground tensed her body but was soon replaced with concern as she quickly moved about towards the young figure before them, much like she did when the heartless met the girl. Funny how she seemed to run towards dangerous like a mother guarding her kin, must be a trait of hers which in time would be highly exploitable for Lenny to note for the future. Len followed close behind though at a slower rate as he aired much more caution at their unexpected fellow, being overly trusting was how he was placed in this group after all.

“Is he ok? He looks a little sickly”

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

The Nobody blinked in disbelief, staring up at the blue-silver haired girl as she shuffled closer to him. There was caution in each step she took, which Raziel did not understand at all, turning to glance behind him. He did not realize that it was himself that she was wary of. When she asked him if he was okay, the only thing he could do was tilt his head. A very absent-minded look was plastered across his face as he mulled the words over. They didn't click with him at first, and the boy sat there for a solid sixty seconds, his eyes unblinking as they bored into the girl before him.

Finally, he answered, "Yes." his gentle voice was barely above a whisper.

Those eerie eyes of his shifted again when he heard another voice. Spotting the smaller person--a child--behind the girl, Raziel tilted his head to the other side. Sickly? What did he mean? The Nobody really had no idea what he looked aside from the reflection of the pearly floor, but he was so pale and ivory himself, that it was hard to tell what he truly looked like; and even if he did, he wouldn't understand what was wrong with his appearance. As far as he knew and could really remember, this was him and always had been.

Taking another thirty seconds to think, he wondered who these people were. There were many questions, but none of which he could completely focus on. For Raziel, it was like grasping at straws that he could never truly catch, slipping right through his fingers. Perhaps, standing would be a good idea? The teen decided to give it a try, pushing himself into the crab walk position. His feet were not magically moving underneath him like he had imagined. Without being near a wall to climb up like usual, this was proving rather difficult for the Nobody. The only thing it accomplished was by making him look incredibly awkward. Embarrassment eluded him, however. He couldn't feel anything like that. Not anymore. Sitting back down on his bottom, he sighed, a seemingly involuntary reaction. It was natural to do so, and Raziel gave it no second thought. After taking another break of doing nothing, he rolled up onto his knees and sat there, watching the two strangers in silence.

White Walls [Extremely Open] - Page 3 Empty Re: White Walls [Extremely Open]

Post by Tsumiko Mon Jun 15, 2015 12:53 pm

Tsumiko stopped when she stood some few feet away from the new face. For a good long while, he didn't say anything, just stared up at her with a blank expression. She stared back, not knowing quite what to expect. It was a little unnerving, begin stared at like that with no grasp on how to react, but soon he teen responded with a short, hushed voice. Tsumiko sighed to herself in relief, a small smile touching her lips.

The pale man's red eyes soon shifted to Sitri, who had neared as well and asked of his health. The songstress did have to agree that he was rather pale, and because of it seemed rather unwell. Not only that, but he didn't seem like much of a quick thinker, taking his time in his speech and actions. The concern on her face stuck around as she watched his sad attempt to try and stand. When he didn't quite make it, deciding to then just pull his knees to his chest with a sigh.

Tsumiko quickly tooked over to where Sitri stood and gave him a short shrug and a small smile. Turning her silver-blue orbs back to the other male, she walked the few remaining feet to where he sat and offered to him a hand to help him stand. She had a calm, gentle smile as she did so.

“My name's Tsumiko. If you want, you can come with Sitri and I,” she nodded towards the blonde before turning her attention back to the stranger. “We're trying to find a friend and then get out of here. I don't know what your situation is, but it's better than being alone. Right?” With a short giggle, she tipped her head to the side.
