Zeferoth's Skill Tree
Base Ability: Zeferoth has the ability to manipulate metal by shifting it, moving it, accelerating it, decelerating it, etc. This is a rather simple degree of manipulation, however he may manipulate as fast as his Character tier relative to speed of the same tier, as nimbly relative to agility of the same tier as his character tier, and as powerfully relative to strength of the same tier as his character tier. The metal being manipulated counts as a weapon.
Base Ability Cool Down: N/A
Tier One
Metal Conduit: This allows Zeferoth to use his magic and abilities through any metal, solid or molten, that he is manipulating.
Polarization: Zeferoth can polarize a single point in space or an entire object and everything metal will be pulled or pushed away from that point. Each polarity point lasts for 5 posts with the skill requiring a 4 post cool down.
Compression and Expansion : Zeferoth is able to compress and expand the size of metal that he is manipulating. Changing the thickness of metal by moving it in the object or adding more or removing metal.
Molten Manipulation: Not only can Zeferoth manipulate solid metal, but super heated liquid metal as well. It is held to the same limitations and strengths as if he was manipulating solid metal.
Liquefying/Solidifying: Zeferoth is able to freely turn any solid metal into liquid metal and vice versa. He can encase his enemies in metal this way both searing them then trapping them when the metal hardens.

Re: Zeferoth's Skill Tree
Does the base ability affect metal generated by abilities too or just normal metal?
Flight is an implied application of the base ability. You don't need to slot it, so you have a free slot there.
With Polarization, I usually don't mandate a tier requirement for abilities of this nature. You can simply say it has a strong pull and it will apply its effect to everything the same regardless of tier. Just know that because this is an ability based in magnetism, certain metals would not be affected because they are not magnetic.
For the final skill, it would mandate that the metal you are using, since in most cases it seems to be just controlled by you, is not ruled by your strength and instead the property of the metal.
I should also state that Orichalcum is one metal that would not be affected by this tree.

Re: Zeferoth's Skill Tree
so the final skill, how do i know how strong metals are compared to people's strength and what is Orichalcum?

Re: Zeferoth's Skill Tree
Their strength is based on the natural alloy's strength. Unless you were using magic to create your own metal, you would need to know the general strengths of the metals you had access to.
Re: Zeferoth's Skill Tree
ok then i how strong are metals on the site? And since it is a metal none the less, should Orichalcum be manipulated to some extent since skills don't act the same way as other spells.
edited the skills, can i have that one skill slot left open since I can't think of anything to put in it.

Re: Zeferoth's Skill Tree
They're as strong as their IRL counterparts. If someone has a custom/fictional metal, it's durability will compared to a preexisting material.
Game Master said that this ability would not affect Orichalcum. As of right now, Orichalcum primarily used to create Keyblades, which are the most powerful individual weapon on site.
You may leave a slot open, and may return to add in an ability whenever you wish.
While I'm generally unsure of you being able to manipulate both metal and molten at T1, I'll treat the ability as an augmentation of the base ability and test it out.
But before approving, for liquid/solidifying, you mean that you can change what you're manipulating from metal to molten and vice versa, correct? Just a quick, important distinction.

Re: Zeferoth's Skill Tree
well yeah he has to be manipulating it to turn liquefy it
And i still want clarification as to why that one metal is immune

Re: Zeferoth's Skill Tree
What I meant was, "Are you able to turn metal into molten and vice versa?" I'm going to assume that was your intent. I just need confirmation to approve.
I mentioned it was because of Keyblades, but I'll elaborate further. I didn't really explain why too well. Keyblades are made of orichalcum and are meant to be the most powerful weapons on site. We do not allow any abilities that will trivialize the importance of the Keyblade. This goes beyond just this ability.
For example:
Keyblades are indestructible.
Keyblades cannot be tricked by illusion into thinking someone else is their wielder.
You cannot prevent Keyblades from being summoned.
In short, orichalcum matters because Keyblades matter. And you cannot have an ability that allows you to manipulate other people's Keyblades.
