Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Eno Vale Wed May 18, 2016 3:49 am

A welcome reprieve, albeit one that might cause alarm for some. Dark clouds hung low in the sky, their ominous color signaling a torrent for the day ahead. The usual arid air of Agrabah was replaced with gusts of wind that’d chill the body. Something royal silks did little to block, but his body’s nature would see to the cold being of little consequence.

He’d come to expect days like this. As the years wore on the heartless would always emerge within a storm. The clouds provided the appropriate clutter, letting the shadows swallow the streets in a greedy fashion. But, due to Eno’s own intervention, things were rather calm despite the weather. The black claws were trimmed back, their numbers having been lowered. The giant made sure to keep the citizens safe to the best of his ability.

Specialized shelters for the lower-income areas provided ample protection, and an evening meal for a starving, rag-covered soul. While the coffers wouldn’t allow the Sultan to cover all of Agrabah’s problems, he would use them to conquer whatever inconveniences he could. That, and while the rain would start to sprinkle the streets, not a single citizen could be seen with a frown.

In fact, those that could provided themselves with cover and continued on about their way. Kids could be seen running amok, pushing their way through the streets, jumping in puddles wherever they could find them. The voices of dozens of men and women rose above the crowd, filling the air along with the ever quickening downpour.

In spite of the apparent good nature of the marketplace, the reason for Eno’s current visit is anything but. Reports came to him when the sun barely peaked over the horizon, that creatures of the dark where halting the construction of the western fortress. Sad to say the one furthest from the capital is the one with the most issues. The sea of desert beyond was a death sentence in and of itself, should one make their way without preparation, but combine it with heartless and your chances beyond Agrabah plummet. The only bit of safety one can find beyond the city would be the trade routes, and that’s only due to the high traffic of soldiers.

It isn’t a surprise to find that some parts of the wall have been broken through, especially with the guard being stretched as thin as it is. All the more reason the fallen knight makes haste with some of his best men and women to meet the issue at hand.

Each hand-picked from the Noble House of Moon, all of them capable of adapting to situations as they changed on the battlefield. Though Eno insisted on going alone, his council wouldn’t have it. It didn’t matter to them if he could keep a healthy pace during combat, he was their Sultan, and a member of royalty always had to be accompanied by no less than twelve. Well, it does provide some comfort to know that there are those out there that care.

And so they move through the winding streets of the bazaar, clearing the way as they went.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Chandra Wed May 18, 2016 10:21 am

It is strange to see rain in the desert. It looked out of place almost. Yet there she was gazing up at the sky where the raindrops fell from dark clouds. She couldn't stand the usual heat of this place, and because of that she rarely ever visited. And then this shift in weather happened on the day she decided to drop in. It caused her a huge amount of confusion, but there was no mistaking the Arabian city in the middle of the sand dunes. The reason for her visit wasn't to go sightseeing, but to get some sharpening stones for the guardian of the guardian angel. He was... too large to move around freely inside the city. His 12-foot muscular frame clad in armor would only knock down stalls, snag covers and step on people's feet. But overall he was just intimidating. Especially with his reptilian tail that even furthered his unnatural look.

Chandra by comparison looked just like a normal girl, aside from the floating halo on her head and her wings which were currently folded into her back. She stood four foot tall with an extra inch to boost her height. While at first it looked awkward to see her be traveling with someone who was three times her size, they actually got along well.

The young angel easily weaved through people to find the shop that sold just what she needed. She was a mute by choice, so telling the merchant that she wanted to buy some sharpening stones was a lot more work than necessary. It was a shame since Chandra had such a beautiful and adorable voice. One that could cause heart failure from the over dose of "D'aww". Although it would already be overkill at that point as her perpetual cuteness radiated from her shy face.

She got lucky this time as someone ahead of her had just bought some sharpening stones, and so all she had to do was to gesture towards him then to the basket of stones, then to herself before extending her hand out with some gold coins. It took a while for the merchant to understand her, and initially asked if she was lost. Then he asked if the man before her was her father, then he asked her if she wanted the merchant to run after his last customer. She just gave up on the gestures at that point, giving him a deadpan look. The merchant was clearly confused but he couldn't get angry, not towards a little girl who didn't know how to speak.

So to get what she wanted, Chandra hopped on top of a crate by the side of the stall and reached for the basket of sharpening stones and taking three from the basket. She then handed some gold coins to the merchant, who finally understood. He looked embarrassed, but laughed it off. Chandra hopped off of the crate and waved the merchant goodbye. She got what she came for and headed back to where she parted with Wolfram, but on the way, she noticed some type of commotion and went to investigate like the curious little girl she was. With her purchase sitting snugly in the embrace of her arms, she stared curiously at the man who towered above most of the people in the marketplace. While he wasn't as tall as Wolfram, he was still impressively tall.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

The Sultan Froze in his tracks, a sudden spike in light being the root of his actions. Was he so preoccupied with the task at hand that he didn’t notice before? His heart reverberated from the shock, the dark energies surging with life. When did this, this thing get so close? With that sudden appearance from off to the side, Eno’s life force erupted from his body, his aura expanding to cover those within his vicinity. For every individual, be it friend or foe, his will grew to consume the city block, which then quickly spread throughout the streets. A silver tinted flame would provide a gentle warmth for those nearby regardless of affiliation. The heartless, the ones actively seeking to ambush his citizens, would not have this same boon. In order to bring forth a quick and decisive means of protection was the duty the Sultan would readily burn anything that would mean to harm his citizens.

Heat, an intensity of which the shadows weren’t accustomed to, would wrack their bodies in an unforgiving torrent of silver fire. Dozens of small shadows would rise from nearby corners, spasming for a bit before dropping. While the weaker ones would disintegrate in an instant, the tenacious ones would remain. The ability wouldn’t keep them down forever. But, at least for now, those nearby were safe from the dark onslaught.

“W-well then,” Eno’s eyes were wide from the sudden appearance of the little creatures of darkness. “I knew there was a problem, but I didn’t think it was this bad,” at this point he looks to his entourage of guards.

“If you could, please escort everyone to the palace gates.” The Sultan motions to the ones nearby, “I’ll be fine, there’s no need to worry about me.” He keeps his voice firm, yet soothing to try and maintain serenity for them. “Attention please,” the giant calls to the dozens within earshot. “These fine folks will be taking you to the gates. Be sure to stick close to them.”

With that being said, many were sure to follow immediately. Others, hurriedly went on with whatever transactions were taking place before running to the safety of the House Moon Guards. Within minutes the majority of the crowd disperses into tight lines leading to the east. As they moved along, dozens would whisper to themselves, some glancing the Sultan’s way as they pass, others would cast a glance over the significantly larger figure in question. That, the Angel, and the event that’s just taken place, is more than enough for them to quicken their pace.

Eno, glancing over the two in question, would wave them over, his expression one of curiousity.

“Hey there, you mind coming with me? If they’re so open about their motives, I’d prefer we get this issue taken care of together.. I could use the help eliminating the source if you don’t mind?” Eno offers the Angel a small smile. “Maybe they’ll flee back through the gate?”

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

As soon as the silver flames erupted, revealing a number of heartless who were hidden within the city, Wolfram instinctively entered through the gates, shoving anyone who got in his way to the side, but made sure none of them got hurt. Everyone started panicking when the heartless showed up, and although the authorities were trying to keep them in control, he found it hard to move around.

Chandra meanwhile tried to keep out of everybody's way, but that moved her closer to the large man, who then spoke to her about going with him. Motive? Issue? What was he talking about? The young angel hid most of her face behind the large collars of her robe and backed away from him. When she noticed Wolfram finally breaking through the sea of people, she immediately ran towards him, keeping the whetstone slabs cradled in her arms. She gave the items over to him. The monstrous-looking guardian then took them and placed them inside the satchel fastened on his waist.

The girl hid behind his large frame, taking a casual glance at the smaller giant and then to the people around them, and coincidentally to the burning heartless. She sensed trouble, and maybe that was what the man spoke to her about? The surroundings were too confined for the giant to use his ax, without the buildings and stalls suffering from damage with each swing. It looked like he was going to have to use his hands for this encounter.

Chandra tugged at Wolfram's leg and they silently exchanged glances before Wolfram stepped towards the man who waved them over. "What do you need?" he asked, his voice unnaturally deep, enough to cause some minor vibrations in the chests of nearby civilians. The duo lent their hand to those who needed help, and with heartless around, no doubt they were needed here. Chandra stayed behind Wolfram, keeping herself hidden.

“Oh, my apologies. I didn’t mean to fri-” Eno reaches out to the fleeing angel, only to her hide behind who appears to be her bodyguard, and a large one at that. The one that’d been a bit off the side rushed to the aid of this girl of light. Eno casts his gaze up, and up the huge wall like figure. What could it be, a lizardman, or a dragon half breed? Perplexed, Eno keeps his eyes locked on the Sentinel's for a moment before clearing his throat.

“What do you need?” The giant’s voice comes, reverberating throughout the head of the fallen knight. The Sultan is momentarily taken aback by the sudden baritone, but recovers quickly. He tries to ignore the shy creature clutching to its leg tentatively and hiding whenever he tries to cast a glance.

Though he needed her help, the very thought of a scratch coming to such an adorable face filled his heart with sorrow. At the very least, he and the guardian can work together to stop whatever menace caused the heartless to become so braizen.

“I need you two to follow me,” Eno explains, looking between the two. “These heartless are preventing the construction of an important conduit of mine. If we can cut it on, we’ll be able to keep the heartless away from the main city.” As he speaks he starts off in the direction of his fortress, motioning for the duo to move on, “they’re acting out as it is, but with you and your little companion around, they’re sure to feast on whatever hearts have the most light. At this rate, there’s so many they’ll actively hunt her down.”

As he explains, he motions to the ever-growing number of burning heartless. As time goes on, his supernatural abilities don’t seem to be enough to stop them outright. A few among the packs of fiery monsters are able to stand, their sharp claws at the ready. A few bandits step towards the trio, brandishing their scimitars menacingly. Though, as they get closer, they feel their strength leave their bodies. The darkened shells become wrinkled and eventually crack with age, until the gluttonous Sultan turns them to ash. Their very life remained in the air, dozens of black wisps within the silver flames, and soon found themselves drifting towards Eno.

While this cannot permanently end the life of a heartless, it does make it easier for one to extract dozens of years from its core.

“I’m surprised that with such a bright heart, your little friend isn’t accosted more,”  Eno  states, eyeing a few of the fallen foes strewn along the streets, “but, at least this way, we can draw the source of this darkness to us. If we manage to take out the big one the others should clear the area.” It’s then, he casts his amethyst eyes back on the two.

“I know this is rather sudden, and a bit a rude of me to ask, but should you help me, I’ll grant you something in return. If need be I’ve got plenty of empty rooms back at the palace, and a trove of food just waiting to be eaten.”

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

The sliver knight of darkness found himself in the world of sand and heat soon as his orders had been issues to investigate the surge of darkness that had been plaguing the worlds within the last few years as of late, Lenny kept himself busy on another world while his right hand would deal with the source that could be found on this world. Though Thelennx lacked the means to permanent put down the rouge heartless he would be able to suppress them enough for a capture effort.

The nobody found his way to the world, shielding himself from the bright rays of the sun that blinded him at first with the change of setting from the darkness. It was a lesser land in his eyes, the endless sea of sand was much less appealing then the lively shadows. In comparison he could consider this land to be more of certain death for the average life. He bore his attire of a strength and hide them underneath a clock of brown from the bright sunlight and heat.

He came towards the city gates as soon as the wondered around trying to track any heartless just outside of its view an hour or so back. As he entered a sliver light appeared just as a few spots of shadows appeared further up ahead from what his senses could gather, danger, screaming and some kind of order to a new location, the sound of the voices that his enhanced hearing could picked up where being muffled by the wind.

Just before moving a few more heartless had appeared just around Thelen, curious to the new target that walked up their door step but sensing something off about him. Charging first the giant would grab a hold one of them, looking into its eyes like structures before smashing it down towards one of its allies and sending them flying across the floor while rolling in dust. The other heartless remained still while looking at the Nobody, cracking his fingers. He stood as a giant to them as he was much larger then a normal human might grow to be.

“Why cause so much trouble guys?” Thelennx asked them though he remained unaware of how to command or communicate with his's masters rouge servants.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

The duo were ready to lend a helping hand, as they always had since Wolfram decided to travel with her, even leaving the party he had been running with for so long. Chandra didn't really get why he chose to do so, and she never really asked. But he had been really protective about her. She felt safe when his towering frame effectively blocked everything that came their way, which was probably the reason why the two of them started helping people out more actively. Chandra, by herself, couldn't really do much in terms of fighting. She wasn't skilled in that area, but she did a good job at keeping the giant healthy all throughout, even if it was just a little bit of healing.

Chandra climbed up to Wolfram's shoulder and sat there, holding onto the comb of his helmet so she wouldn't fall off. The two of them followed the other man, who by now they thought to be the leader of this world. He could have been just the leader of the guards there, but after mentioning something in construction as 'his', they came to the conclusion that this was indeed his world. Chandra remained completely silent and just watched as the Heartless dropped in and just vaporize back out when they became afflicted with the flames. It seemed like the stranger was more than capable of keeping this place safe, what with all the heartless just dropping whenever they popped it. Were they really needed? Still, they already decided to help, and they never turned anyone down before.

There was a commotion behind them. It seemed someone else was fighting with the heartless. But were they doing alright? Chandra let go of her grim on the helmet and flew to the skies to see another large man around a group of heartless, but it seemed as though he wasn't in any trouble. If anything, it seemed as if he was more trouble for the heartless. She kept pace with the other two from the skies, and kept watch with a bird's eye view. But with the rain, she couldn't stay airborne without being weighed down, so she came down and sat back on Wolfram's shoulder.

The other man offered a compensation for their help. The beds would be helpful for the little girl, but Wolfram had doubts there was any beds of his size. The food sounded good too.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Eno Vale Tue May 24, 2016 6:37 pm

Another individual managed to move into Eno’s Aura, one that shared the same amount of strength as the angel riding upon the shoulders of her monstrous companion. Though, given the direction they were in, it’d take a few minutes for them to reach the Sultan’s group. So, with that in mind, Eno leads the ginormous guardian through the narrow, winding streets of Agrabah.

Others would pass by in shock, some screaming, and a select few are the unlucky ones left carrying their unconscious friends and family members. As they drew closer to the fortress in the west, the situation took a more extreme turn. A fiery explosion rippled out twenty yards ahead, the building it’d occurred in turning into mere pieces of splinters and stone. A trio of Red Nocturnes could be seen hovering about the flaming mess.

Unlike the others before, the flames brought on by Eno weren’t able to take them down. While the damage could be seen, their spirits pushed them forward. With the source of their pain in clear view, the fire users descended upon Wolfram and the others. As they drew near, four fat bandits, followed by a dozen bandits rushed into the area, the bandits brandishing their blades in a wild fashion. That rather large number was soon followed by others who could withstand the aura being constantly forced down upon them.

But even that number paled in comparison to the group slowly making their way to the Sultan’s position. A single heartless, nearly triple the size of its companions moves in a sluggish fashion, its armored boots causing the ground to shake with its mighty steps. Those two boots met with a floating torso, each with an arm hovering nearby. The helmet’s visor of the Guard Armor remained entranced by the newest intruders in the area. This sentinal of the dark moves in closely guarded by a group of Fortunetellers and Luna Bandits.

Whether the trio would realize it or not, the first of many waves would descend upon them…

And as they’d fight their way through, a single, solitary mass of darkness would watch from the top of the nearby fortress, where more of its ilk awaited should they be needed. Various shades of purple and magenta culminate within this viscous like substance. It acted as a giant black candle at the top of the stone fortress, drawing in lesser heartless like a moth to a flame to do its bidding.

“Hmm, so it’s really the Sultan that’s come?” The dark being asks, as it speaks, the dozens of fiery globe and icy cube heartless nearby on that oval shaped rooftop stand alert. Turning its attention to its minions, the heartless asks, “Won’t you welcome him with me?” As if on queue they turn to one another and form on themselves. The little ritual melts their original shapes, forming into a writhing masses of their respective element, that is until two figures rose among the pile.

Two lanky shadows stand covered in a shell of fire and ice respectively, acting as their own skin and the black portions their skeletal structures, making them obese in appearance. Each bore a small cape, crown, and a staff of their elements. The Volcanic and Blizzard Lord both take to the skies, intent on joining up with the Guard Armor still making its way through the streets.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Thelennx Tue May 24, 2016 9:06 pm

There were still people around it seemed as their voices reached out to the sliver knight along the twisting streets to the side of him and further up along the way. Finishing up with these scouting heartless Thelen slowly made his way towards the city itself where the sounds were emitting from. It was there that the explosion a further ways away caught his attention, shredding the ground to beats as a ball of fire rode out from the sights and lit the city ablaze in red. That is when the nobody knew this was no time to be subtle in his mission, narrowing his sights in fear of this event he quickly dashed along the winding roads and allies towards the sit of the blast, shoving away the helpless humans to their own discomforts. A few times he ran through the buildings itself breaking their walls down as his momentum picked up and shattered the weak stone in his path.

His steps would break the earth underneath him as well that wasn't soft sand, faster he rode the ground until he came close to which was partially to blame for this mess, the heartless. They seemed feral alright not recognize Thelen right then and striking around the area right as he arrived. His face scolded at the thought of this getting out of hand and by the looks of it something bigger was on the way.

Oh but that also brought up something else for Thelen to take notice of, a few others watching the heartless as they closed in. Humanoids from the looks of it that didn't appear to be too afraid or running away, a scaly giant larger then Thelen and another armored male. He stared at them for a moment before raising a hand. “Yo” he spoke before focusing back at the their enemies.

Though he was taught to be a little friendly when it came to first meeting others it seemed their time was too limited for introductions, action needed to be taken. Quickly just as he finished Thelen bolted down the path towards the few heartless standing in their way, shoulder checking a few bandits into a fat bandit. Bouncing just off its large belly despite his impressive size and strength, recalling that these heartless had an advantage to brute force at least in the front. The nobody general would quickly reach out for the one of the smaller bandits rolling around in pain, grabbing it by the head before throwing it at the larger body one in the face then. Hopefully distracting it enough for Thel to quickly move around and deliver a mighty punch down the fat heartless's back and send it flying in painful sensation.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Chandra had jumped at the sudden explosion and clung to Wolfram out of instinct, who shielded them both from the rubble that came to pelt them from above. Floating heartless were abound, and seemed to be the cause of the explosion. Not too long after that, the floating ones charged at them, while the grounded ones surrounded them. Chandra was a little intimidated by them, but with Wolfram there, it was going to be all alright.

With the danger present, Chandra's aura of protection provided a holy barrier to protect her allies, while also providing a constant healing should they get hurt. She clung tightly to Wolfram, but when the creatures attacked, she knew she had to let go so Wolfram could deal with their enemies, especially since quite a large one appeared before them. A set of armor which was disjointed and seemingly only being held with magic. It was just the right size for Wolfram, but first he needed to take care of the little ones.

The bandits were easily crushed under his fist, and a swift kick sent them flying down the street. While this showed that his size wasn't just for show, he was pulling his punches to minimize any collateral damage to the city, which is also the reason why he wasn't using his axe yet. He couldn't do any swipes or else he'd demolish a few homes in a single swing. He was quite accurate with his fists though, and could easily pick off the grounded ones. However those fliers were much more difficult to deal with.

Chandra decided to use her halo, throwing it at those in the air, slicing through them with great efficiency. Once it got too far away from her, it returned, popping right back to floating above her head.

Soon, the person she saw before joined them, busting through a few buildings, saying a small greeting, then went on to bust some of the heartless.

The angel tried to keep the skies clear for everyone while also staying close to her allies so her aura could reach them. She had gotten good at dodging in all direction, so it was easy to evade the fireballs that came for her. In the distance, she could see a few more heartless coming their way. This was the biggest force they had ever needed to deal with, but everything should turn out fine.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Eno Vale Sat May 28, 2016 3:13 am

“The Sultan isn’t alone it seems,” the dark creature mutters to a few nearby bandits, it pauses for a short moment before continuing, “a being that appears to be doing as much damage as I. One of Nothingness. As for the others-” The ethereal voice seems to choke, the purple and black flames sputtering about madly. As if the nearby heartless were linked, they too began to tremble, though out of excitement rather than anything else.

“S-So bright, I can’t believe my luck!” the baritone voice exclaims, the vibrations picking up in speed. “I-I must have it, whatever it is I do not care. First, that bastard Vale, and now a ripe fruit primed for picking.” It’s now, the dark creature’s words ring loud enough for even the group fighting the black tides to hear, “rip the heart from its chest and grant me a new minion of darkness! Snuff out the light that dares to shine against us!”

Heartless from nearby, whom were busy hunting down whatever civilians they could track, froze in place. Drunk from the influence of malice and excitement, they heed the call of the colossal being having occupied the Western Fortress. Their steps would come in a daze, their pale yellow eyes glistening with hunger, the light that’d been introduced to the area being the source of their erratic behavior. Another dozen, and yet another joining the growing tide of black that now seeks to descend upon the four would be heroes of Agrabah.

In order to help its minions reach their delectable little target, the darkened flames would rip twenty large orbs from its own massless body. A few meters in diameter, they’d represent the true welcoming gift for Sultan Vale, and his most recent companions. In a blur they traveled, with swiftness that eclipsed any arrow fired from one of Eno’s archers.

While Chandra and Wolfram fought valiantly against the monstrous horde, Chandra keeping the hovering magic users at bay by her lonesome, and Wolfram, using his mighty form to easily smash through any bandit or shadow that found itself unlucky enough to be around,  they too would find themselves wandering to structures targeted by the candle-like creature. In spite of that, through the constant changing flow of combat, they may be able to see the magical barrage before it’s too late. That, and Chandra’s protective spells were obviously tiers higher than any normal mage, or even ancient sages, could call upon, that much Eno could see through the experience his own magical prowess had bestowed upon him. Perhaps that alone would be enough to protect them from what is to come.

Thelen, however, had a stroke of luck. While being in close proximity of Eno and the others, his strategy involving the fat bandit, and the group of bandits around it, would send him to a section of the western city that’d receive none of the globes of black fire. Less than ten seconds pass before each collides with a building around the squad. Once the dark flames slipped through the walls much like a rock sinking through the surface of a lake, they detonated…

While Eno’s rapidly growing aura would transfer its healing properties to the civilians nearby, saving those that’d lose limbs or come within inches of death, those too close to the explosions would find themselves vaporized in an instant, the buildings suffering the same fate. The screams of the fallen could be heard rising with the concussive blasts as their devastating damage raked its way throughout the western portion of the Agrabah. Lucky for him, Chandra’s protective magic did more than enough to keep the resulting gusts of air from blowing him completely away from the city square they were in.

Intense ringing would plague the Sultan’s ears as he moved to mitigate the damage. Summoning Februus, his keyblade, he went to work. Chunks of stone fell from the sky, each piece seemingly bigger than the last. Using whatever speed he could muster in this situation, Eno leapt into the air, and with rapid swings of his blade, he’d cut those giant, jagged bits to negligible pieces. Then, using those as stepping stones to propel himself, Eno would zip around the area, deconstructing as many bits of descending matter as he could, along with cutting down any flying heartless unfortunate enough to be in his way. While his superior agility and speed would allow him to move in a mere blur of royal purple, his efforts wouldn’t be enough.

Even those he managed to save, would find themselves crushed beneath what he couldn’t get, at least, that’s what he’d assume should the trio be unable to act. And, with each pained cry that rose from the dust and debris, the rage billowing in Eno’s chest rose to an uncontrollable level. How dare this monster treat his people like mere insects and the fallen knight’s city like a pile of trash?  As if everything between it and the four others were nothing more than dust to be cleared away. Everything he’d worked tirelessly for these twenty years, the tears, the blood, and strenuous effort that he and his citizens put in being erased bit by bit with such reckless abandon. Agrabah, and its people, the two represented the pinnacle of peace Eno strove so hard to achieve. The Sultan would make this creature suffer by any means necessary before granting it an ugly death!

“Please, keep helping us,” Eno called to the giant, muscular warrior as he passed by, cutting through more falling rock and heartless as he did so. It’s then, the fallen knight glances over in the direction of his destination, and freezes in place. The spell that evil creature so recklessly threw at them, it cleared out more than the Sultan initially thought.Once some of the clouds began to settle, he could clearly see the fortress, still a half mile away, and upon it the monster remained, waiting.

This thing managed to clear out any and all buildings directly blocking its view of the Sultan, and the nearby samaritans that chose to enter the fray. It’s then, Eno can clearly see the mob of heartless heading directly for them. Yellow eyes, like discolored diamonds, stare over their forms as they charge. And, as they entered Eno’s field, his aura further increases in size. Fifteen meters by fifteen meters his influence would come to swallow the area whole like a greedy beast until it came within a hundred yards of the fortress itself.

Silver flames would coalesce with black fire in a struggle for control as heartless became consumed by the Sultan’s Life Force. An entire army alight, yet  desperately closing the distance, their master driving them to throw their bodies in a suicidal attempt against Thelen, Chandra, Wolfram, and Eno. Whatever reason the titanic heartless held for doing so escaped the frantic once undead warrior. All that mattered to him in this moment was cutting down every last heartless his eyes could find.

He had to clear a path, and to do so, he’d need to cleave through the disjointed set of armor bearing the creature’s emblem proudly upon its torso. With a mighty cry, Vale charged, his keyblade held tightly in his hands. The Guard Armor, however, appears to be expecting the otherwise obvious strategy. As the distance quickly closed it raised an oversized gauntlet, swinging wide to the Sultan’s left with it’s right. The veteran fighter, seeing the telegraphed blow, jumps,  narrowly avoiding what would’ve been an intense blow.

The Guard Armor is quick to follow up with another swipe, this time with its left. Eno is forced to bring Februus up to block the impending attack, knocking him some distance away. The Sultan’s feet touch ground, the force behind the strike being enough to send up clouds of dust as he skids back. Yet Eno remains standing, once he stops, the fallen knight rushes back to engage.

As Eno fought, the obese mages would find their own targets. The Volcanic Lord being fond of Chandra and Wolfram rained meteors of fire down upon the duo. But, due to the nature of Eno’s aura, it’d be forced to manifest its spell an incredible distance away. In fact, the fiery spheres were comically far from their targets. The Blizzard Lord, unlike its fire based counterpart, took a more direct approach with Thelen. It’d get in close, dangerously so, and exhale a breath of icy vapor from its gaping, pudgy maw. With this being a naturally produced phenomenon, it wasn’t held to the same constraints as the Volcanic Lord’s magic. With every bit of sand and stone the mist touched it froze in an instant during its travel to the nobody.

Post by Thelennx Sun May 29, 2016 6:08 pm

Thelennx continued his assault while the heartless before him still held firm in their form, much like those that he had trained and grew accustom to from Lenneth's care. Without the proper means to put them down for good it meant he didn't have to worry about taking too many of their lives and displeasing his better half's ambition. A powerful punch to the ground shaking up the foundations of the heartless steps throwing them off balance while he lifted on of the larger ones over his head and tossed it like a boulder towards a clumped up group of lesser ones. He would leap down after wards with a double grip tightening his strength and smashing them into each other after landing violently on their bodies. The strength of which flattened his first wave of opponents into black particles sending back to the primal care of the rightfully leader.

The sounds of the blast and the cries of the people though were quite the distractions, lighting up the city in sheer damage spread across the black flames and blood of the humans that fell pray before the bombardment. Thelen figured this was a sad moment which the heroes were supposed to draw power and conviction from so he'd try given the circumstances of his personal intervention. It was a little more public then he wanted so Lenny might be a little upset, dam he'd need a way to earn some points later when the two would meet up to compare notes.

Taking its time the stones rained down closer to him as their numbers seemed to grow with each blast, the people to seemed to be under attack as they rocks fell. Taking heeding of this Thelennx command his abilities over the fabric of space to this task, wrapping the area around a large number of stones causing them to hover in place as he physical gestured holding them. Eno was making it a little difficult moving around so much and apply a lot of pressure on some of the stones Thelen tried to stop but he held them there with his strength. Grunting then as he planned to use this ammo the nobody tossed the payload over towards the heartless with frightening amount of force, bombarding them with this hail of earth in huge clumps of force before the rocks splintered off hitting small areas of heartless. A particularly large stone in play Thelen thrusted towards the centre body of the guard armour to lure its attention and hopefully damage the core.

The Sultan had his own plans in mind as he rushed towards the beast alone in the midst of this battle flied, maybe enraged with the blood of his people spilled to not be thinking clearly enough while the numbers didn't favour them. Surprising to then see the legendary key in the man's possession, striking this ally as a potential danger much like when both halves of the La Vaeas had their own blades but only recently lost their connection to the power. The sliver knight tried to rush over to him only to find another dark lord blocking his way, a master of ice and the beer gut. Thelen recognized the monster as it got uncomfortable closer with its chilling breath. With great speed the nobody conjured his shield into play, holding down on his right arm while smashing the earth underneath him to get a foot hold as the ice breath bathed his area in zero friction. Thelenn held fast his position as the ice cold winds blow across his defensive chilling its touch for him and scrapping along his large shoulders in low temperatures, ooo the pain of his skin being touched by such tiny ice crystal rallied his warrior's blood forward, quickly lunging into a leap that sent the giant of muscle towards the blizzard's lord position to painfully shield bash the heartless to tremendous force while his breath being pushed aside from the sheer force.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Chandra Mon May 30, 2016 9:09 pm

It was heartbreaking to sense the suffering of the people if this desert city suffering so much, but there wasn't much she could do. Her healing and shields could only do so much. She wanted to help people, but her own powers were so limited that it didn't seem like she made much of a difference in the big picture. She kept herself centered between her allies so they could be guarded by her light. It was the most she could contribute. The leader of the world was an amazing fighter, moving around like a blur and dispatching the monsters as he passed. He was taking on the disjointed pieces of armor, and got himself hurt.

The other man had a much more destructive approach when dealing with the monsters, but it was effective. Chandra easily weaved around the dark flames, but Wolfram was too overwhelmed and occupied with the smaller enemies that he got hit once or twice, with most of the other balls of fire exploding around them, further damaging the buildings. Though he had summoned an earthen and metallic armor to mitigate some of the damage, so the impact wasn't as severe. The transparent fat mages began calling down small meteors, albeit it was from farther away than they were, giving the disproportionate duo a clear look at the danger.

Wanting to get rid of the bothersome Heartless, Wolfram detonated his reinforced armor, sending shards of rock and shrapnel shredding through the minor annoyances and giving him some room to breathe. Having dealt with the small ones for now, Wolfram charged in to take on the large armored monster, timing his attack so it would either take advantage of the armor's preoccupation with the Sultan, or distract the armor so the Sultan could be the one to take advantage of its distraction.

Wolfram jumped, surprisingly higher than his own height. As he ascended, he took his ax from his back and swung it straight down as the blade burned up, being coated by molten metal. The force of his swing would be enough to crush whatever armor his enemy had been using, and once it connected, whatever part he hit would be embedded into the ground.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Eno Vale Thu Jun 09, 2016 1:19 am

Eno had to stop short in his tracks as a large piece of debris came flying towards the Guard Armor from his left. A mere blur of sand and stone as it collides with the Guard Armor’s torso. The force behind the blow is more than enough to send the armor flying back, but the giant sentinel wished to give the heartless a parting gift with its colossal weapon. The sheer magnitude of the armored creature’s ax was enough to cancel out the force that would’ve otherwise sent it flying, instead slamming it into the ground. The Sultan glances over to try and assess where to strike, what with it being stunned, and its limbs unable to fight as a result of that. Instead of acting, his vision fills with red.

While Eno rushed headlong into battle, he didn’t take into consideration his position from the other three around him. A mistake that allowed a bandit to swing its scimitar across his face from a blind spot. Where it not for his endurance, and subsequent resistance, along with the angel’s protection, that would have definitely cost him his eyes. This single blow would attest to that, turning that distracting, blazing rage into a smaller fire. He couldn’t afford something like that again. If he lost the buff Chandra gave him then what? He’d be useless.

With a single flick of his arm, he strikes the burning bandit. Sending it flying into a nearby wall where it dissipates into a cloud of black smoke. But, that wouldn’t be all, the fallen knight would barely have time to wipe away the small traces of blood before another three bandits leapt at the chance to cut into him. All three from behind at different angles, and all Eno would get is a glance before trying to act. A swipe of his keyblade, from an upward angle to the blade of the first, would knock it up higher into the sky. With his free hand, he reaches out, grabbing the scimitar of the second. Ignoring the warmth now running down the blade, he grabs tightly, tossing it into the third.

A moment of reprieve before six shadows, two bandits, and a fat bandit join the fight. A steady stream of flames erupts from the gaping maw of the fat heartless, but instead of fleeing, Eno walks through the fire, letting his healing and Chandra’s protection spell protect him. The Fat Bandit held no match against the two working in tandem, achieving nothing. Once he’s within range, Eno quickly maneuvers behind it, unleashing a barrage of strikes. However, the final blow would not come from his keyblade, but from his fists. Before the last blow is struck Eno dismisses the keyblade, instead performing a powerful kick to the center of its back.

The Fat Bandit slides forward, unable to control its trajectory. It collides with the shadows like a bowling ball to pins, knocking them about. Due to the aura having consumed every heartless in the area, these weaker ones are unable to do much as their fragile bodies disappear upon contact with the ground. Good, just as the Sultan needed. Even though he had his own obligations to hold with the keyblade he’d so cruelly stolen, it wouldn’t bring an end to the creatures unless it was absolutely necessary. It was easy to spot the difference, when you’d use normal weapons to slay a creature like this, there’d be no result, just a poof of smoke. If you were to use a keyblade however, you’d free the captive heart of the darkness, releasing it to who knows where. At least in the previous universe, Lenneth, the God of Love, did explain what happened if you used regular means to kill his kin. Though, he left out the result of what keyblades did beyond releasing their hearts.

Did they return to darkness? Did they disappear? Did those that lose their hearts become whole again? Just what was he doing every time he took down a heartless this way? Permanently eliminating a life, dooming the heart to who knows where? Eno didn’t want to contribute in that respect. In fact, he shouldn’t even be in possession of this fleshy conglomeration of severed demon parts and golden metal. But, choices were made, and there’s no point in dwelling on something that happened over twenty years ago.

The remaining bandits seem to hesitate once their comrades are gone, giving Eno ample time to rush them, picking both up by their throats they swing their scimitars in a mad fashion. The blades, resulting in little, causes the Sultan to smirk as he runs with them in his hands. Spinning about, he takes advantage of the Guard Armor being distracted by the mighty warrior, tossing the bandits into it, causing the armor to vibrate from the blow. Those two dissipate on contact.

As the squad fights on, the black flames watch with disdain.

“What in the world is causing this?” it asks, irritated. It could feel the chains of Eno’s Aura wrapped tightly around its trio, preventing them from manifesting most of the power they’d need. Only the Guard Armor could act at its best, and even that was succumbing to silver fire. At this point they’d only buy the heartless a few minutes. And, that infernal regeneration, it could save a man from the brink of death. The heartless’ lesser minions were fresh out of hearts shortly after the assault began. Not even three dozen. The rest were either safe with the Sultan’s guards, or they were slain too quickly, unable to have their hearts stolen. Any in between would escape unharmed at this rate.

Though the streets were narrow, they could clear out in an instant in a state of panic. This wasn’t the first time such a thing occurred, and it appears as though Eno had gone through some sort of drills with his citizens. The giant heartless watched as even children directed adults to the Sultan’s gates, remaining calm amongst the chaos. As the minutes tick on by, the chance of success dwindles. Did it not act fast enough? Was the timing off? Perhaps it underestimated  how strong Eno and the others could be? It growls, angered at its current situation. The thoughts of assaulting the castle unsettled it, knowing that individuals that rival the Sultan were protecting it while their ruler was away. That, and should it leave, the heartless it’d worked so hard to enslave would flee. Without the proper influence they wouldn’t listen.

As it pondered what to do next, it watches as the Blizzard Lord flies through the screen of dust and smoke, landing and rolling a few yards into the large clearing separating the fortress from the squad’s current position. The fire-like heartless would grimace if it had a face to do so. Thankfully, the Lord of Ice got back to its feet, obviously shaken by the impact. It looks back towards its master, questioning what to do next.

The Volcanic Lord could be seen hovering high in the sky with its meteors, out of Eno’s area of influence. With both being far enough away, the aura decreases in size by thirty meters.  It drastically widening the gap between the Sultan and the leading Heartless. While the flames would persist for a while longer, the Blizzard Lord was free from its shackles, as was the Volcanic Lord. Seeing that, a silent agreement was passed between the two. Seeing it had no other means but to wait like its master, it formed its armor, encasing its pudgy body in translucent ice reminiscent of platemail. Once its protection formed, the Blizzard Lord fires a skill back into the smokescreen in the general direction it came from. Meanwhile, the Volcanic Lord’s body becomes consumed with fire. The Lord spreads its fat body out as far as it can, before sailing back to the streets below with the attack it’d fired earlier. It’s aim, the small angel that’d gotten separated from Wolfram.

The Guard Armor, seeing the obese heartless choosing it’s target, does the same. Literally throwing itself at its enemies, the Armor attempt to smash into either Wolfram, Eno, or both should it be lucky enough. If it works, it’d provide its allies with the means to follow up, giving its own impressive size it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if it managed to knock the sails out of one of the four assailants.

Landing his blow with a thunderous impact and monstrous force behind it Thelen would curl back into dive before rolling onto the ground and standing is ground awaiting the next blows to shave of f their strikes and challenge the sliver knight's ability. However it took a different turn then what the nobody thought it would as the heartless was thrusted much further back then he'd had expect for such a sizable menaces. The blizzard lord was sent flying off course, nearing the edge of Thelen's sight while collapsing a few buildings along the way and blinding its direct path with debris and smoke. This seemed strange depowering moment to what he knew of that sort of heartless's abilities or physical capabilities, maybe that particularly one was off its game.

Thelen's partners seemed to be dealing with their own fun in the mean time, scanning the area while his foe seemed to be on the edge of its sit trying just to keep up with the muscular giant. The sultan was a different manner Thelen's primary concern was for the little lady that had the power of flight, it wasn't quite sure of what the little person was capability of doing. As fire seemed to rain down around that area his worries grew but that quickly faded as huge shards of ice pierced through the funnel clouds and raced towards Thelennx.

Quickly the knight reacted with raising his shield in defensive, taking the hit for him however pushing him a ways away from where he stood, holding firm at his stance while shaking off the ice off from his defensive. A little too soon as another few ice spears were noticed by his senses and knocked him back further rolling off in a bit of pain while the first drops of his blood were set down in the sand, tucking over Thelen would smash away at the magical ice with his strength and conjured sword before walking towards the blue heartless.

He felt the chill in his body trying to call out for the man to slow down, for his animistic fury to cool down and slumber deeply into a nice winter's nap. But no Thelen's blood boiled with the excitement for battle, he wound not allow anything to slow him or even hinder his progress as the thirst for battle song a much louder cry for him to follow.

Again Thelenn charge towards the heartless lord of ice with blade and shield in hand unfazed by the ice trying to hinder his progression other then deliver sweet pain and damage to pump his adrenaline. Arrvialing soon to the bellow of the lord the nobody would strike hard and fast at the creature's body, smashing first with shield before slashing upward with his heavy broad sword hitting the chunks of ice armor hoping to break some of it apart. The ice would then fly off and damage Thelen's impressive body granting him more pain and harm and then using it to fuel his on slaughter as his power and speed would grow. He would continue to slash and beat down this heartless even as he took damage as well, the armor must have some limit to reach, Thelen knew his body's endurance level and this was far from his max tolerance for punishment. Not while in this focused mode would the good knight of nothingness seek to rest or give his foe a moment between attacks, if it tried to get away or created some distance he would follow soon after and continued the string of attacks of shield and blade. Thel would unlikely notice something else healing him as tiny's angels powers seemed hidden to him but he would keep on hitting till rearguardless.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Chandra Wed Jun 15, 2016 9:40 pm

So far, Chandra has taken care of the aerial Heartless, and Wolfram and the other three were dealing with the grounded ones. Chandra's guardian had successfully struck down the armor, but it wasn't dead yet. It attempted to deal the final blow, but before he got to swing down, the Heartless sent its own limbs to fly at Wolfram. He barely managed to block the projectiles using the wide side of his weapon, but it left him vulnerable for a second as one of the bandits too the opportunity to slash at his legs. But his tough hide was hard to pierce, and it served little to his downfall.

However, Chandra wasn't so lucky with the attack that was aimed at her. While dealt with the pot-like things floating around her, she had failed to notice that the Volcanic Lord was falling towards her, and when she noticed, it was too late for her to react. She was slammed through a roof top and into a building, her tiny frame getting enveloped by the deadly flames and crushed between the flabby Heartless and the floor.

Out of desperation, she thrashed around and surprisingly sent the Volcanic Lord skyward through the hole it made on the way down. It was true that she was stronger than she let on, but that didn't change the fact that she was still considered a child. Her burns slowly disappeared as her own aura worked to heal her, but the pain lingered as did a few tears that had rolled down her cheeks. She wasn't used to physical pain, but she also knew that she couldn't let that stop her. She returned to the skies, keeping herself in the middle of her allies so she could still provide them with healing and protection. The pain was subsiding, but she couldn't hide the damage done to her clothes. Worrying Wolfram was something she never wanted to do, but he witnessed the attack, and when the Volcanic Lord just so happened to land nearby, he grabbed the Heartless' head and squeezed with all his strength fueled with rage. How dare it hurt the young angel!

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Eno Vale Tue Jun 21, 2016 6:13 pm

The Volcanic Lord beat its flabby limbs furiously against Wolfram, it’s body still ablaze from its limit break. Yet, not even the fire could stop the rage frothing from the giant guardian as its grip tightened around the heartless. The pressure, the flames, and it’s lack of capacity to escape, all of it coalesces, driving the fire user into a desperate flailing frenzy. It’s then, the heartless realizes the futility in its manner of escape. It didn’t hold the same strength this creature had, that much was apparent. It could even feel as the fiery globes that made it up were struggling to split apart and flee. Yet, the main lord’s influence kept it there, attempting to find its own way out.

And, it does. In a last, desperate attempt to attack Wolfram, the Volcanic Lord places its gnarled hands upon what exposed skin it could, but the amber wouldn’t surface. With Eno’s influence canceling out its ability to manifest, there’d be no way for it to properly counter the hold it’d been placed in. Once the realization hits, the entirety of the chubby monster spasms wildly, until the twenty or so fiery globes that made it up erupt all at once. As soon as the flames spread to them, their fragile bodies disintegrate in seconds, the final one in Wolfram’s hand biting it uselessly before fading into a wisp of black smoke.

The nearby bandits and fire rhapsodies are quick to fall, having been exposed for too long. And one by one they fade, leaving only the fat bandits to combat the four fighters.

The Blizzard Lord was facing a similar situation, with its back figuratively against the wall. It couldn’t hold a candle to Thelen’s strength, speed, and dexterity, being forced to tank blow after blow with its armor offering little in return. Where it not for its own endurance, it would have fallen ages ago. Instead, it’s health declines at a rapid pace. Every swing is parried and countered accordingly, the bloodlust driving the muscular warrior to continue his relentless assault.

One final blow, from head to stomach, is all it takes for the Blizzard Lord to burst into the tiny icy cube heartless that made it up. And, they held nothing in terms of endurance, which shows as they fall from a single blow by the nobody warrior. Neither magic user could hold a candle to the ones that sought their end. Now, only the Guard Armor remains. Even that wouldn’t last much longer as the Sultan began incorporating magic into his fight.

Three bolts leave Eno’s hands, all three colliding with the main body. Bolts of electricity travel along the armored heartless in short bursts, leaving it in a twitching fit. With the advantage given to Eno, he produces his Sphere of Creation from within his garments. Once the malleable sphere is brought into play, the synthesized material morphs into a spear silver in color. Dismissing his keyblade, the Sultan leaps at his opportunity, driving the tip into the torso of the Guard Armor.

With its inability to fight back, the torso doesn’t hold up long to the furious assault. First the gauntlets fade from existence, then the boots, leaving only the main body. WIth a final strike through the helmet, even that is quick to disappear into wisps of black smoke. The fat bandits fall shortly after, having endured as much as their round bodies would allow, clearing the streets of virtually all hostiles. Though, not a single heartless would lose their hearts on this day, that much the Sultan tried to make sure of.
He may have weakened them with the keyblade, but every blow that was meant to release a captive heart was instead met with fists and rapid kicks. All of those heartless and they could only hold them back for all of a few minute, and they were even able to avoid permanent death for them. Such an embarrassing event brings great anger to the large heartless atop the fort.

The black flames undulate wildly, compressing on themselves as the event goes on. As they shrink, a body begins to form at the base of the fire. Within seconds, a slender, black tinted figure no larger than the average person looks out upon the destruction, it’s white eyes scanning for the group that was so bold to try and defy its wishes. With hands clenched into fists as it’s body continues to morph, a feminine tone calls out over the ruins of West Agrabah.

“Eno, you bastard! Twenty years wasted in an instant!” Her voice, filled with venom, brings pause to the Sultan, freezing him in his tracks. That voice, he’d not heard it in nearly two centuries, not since his time before he called Hades “master”. When his days were filled with nothing but misery, there was one individual that tried to place a veil upon his eyes, to try and mask the reality he faced. Tartarus itself, acting through an avatar, one that now stands defiant amongst the destruction of Eno’s World.

Something that should be impossible, has reared its ugly head. The fallen knight knew that he’d ate her as he did the other demons back in that hellish place, creatures that came along for the ride when his spirit reformed itself during his journey here. Those that’d taken bites out of him were within, where they were to remain. A forgotten memory that only reared its head should his hunger go unchecked, even Februus did its part to keep their greedy desires at bay. Yet, here she is, free from his stomach.

But how? When? For her to mention twenty years, then the only thing the once undead warrior could possibly think of was during his fight back in The World that Never Was. That explosion, the one that brought him here, could there have possibly been more to it? Did the light tear him open, giving her enough room to flee? A final question leaves the Sultan shaking in fear.

Was she the only one to get out?

Her slender finger extend into pointed claws, each sharp enough to cleave a man into pieces. And, upon the tip of each, an orb of fire similar to those she’d used previous burst into existence.

“I’ll start with them,” a smile, like looking into the maw of a shark, “now stand there like a good boy and watch.” With an angry cry she launches her magic towards the giant warrior that brought the Blizzard Lord it’s demise. Believing she’d bring Eno despair, she targets his nearby allies leaving the keyblade wielder for last.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

Post by Thelennx Fri Jun 24, 2016 4:01 am

With his blows raging on as a tempest of strength and fury it appeared as though his foe lacked the drive or ability to keep on fighting. Each time its armour fell cutting into Thelen it only added to his strength and will to cut down this foe, at first to prove to be a worthy challenger. But now even as they danced this with knight in the lead their song was about to end. With another blow straight on into the big  blue fat gut of the monster it would fall apart like confetti leaving the barbarian of nothingness a little stunned at the result. The little heartless seem to think it could escape by spiting into a many smaller versions of itself, a grave mistake indeed. In light of the fear he seemed to be install Thelen choice to enlighten this foe with one final blow.

Gather up his force into his right fist the sliver knight of darkness smashed his incredible strength down into the earth hitting along it while tearing the stone and sand asunder outwardly away from him. But that was not even close to the extend of his power as an all around the mighty muscular giant a huge invisible downward rush of force would also crash down at the exactly moment Thelen moved. Spreading out his the ferocity of his force into a devastating hammer of judgment that rained down all around him delivering his insane strength everywhere in a large distance around him. Even minimizing the radius of this the attack was huge and would level the surrounding debris and buildings flat and crush but more importunately sending each and every ice cube back into the darkness to be reeducated later by the dark king.

As the smoke cleared from his attack and Thelen stood in newly renovated landscape the rest of the fight between them and the wild heartless counterpointed though it looked like the smallest man here took the rest of the charge in fighting that last boss. With a tense trust this man had the right to finish his bout Thelen remained still allowing this to play out as it would which turned out to be the best as Eno proved his metal against his foe. The warrior would nod at the sultan, approving of his battle ability while easing his huge muscle down daunting at the task of cleaning all this up.

It was only then as a witch like cry bellowed through the dry air and drew attention on the source. A women crying out the sulten's name in cold toxin affection and wasted effort though at least he thought it was some kind of female, the figure played little to either gender outside of the meaningless bout of hormonal rage for no good reason.

Something else was off he couldn't quite understanding the meaning of her words and she didn't appear to be any sort of heartless Lenny had mentioned before in their talks, someone new to try and command these rable? Hmm he'd have to recounting this late to the La Vaeas

Her hands became ablaze with Thelen's brow confused as to her intent, a three on one seemed rather futile due to the trio's previously display. His first though until she lunched those arms right towards Lenny's second in command. In quick reaction he set himself into a guarding positions ready to take the blow head on and examine this girl's ability though he was not expecting the level which was thrown as a warning shot.

The moment just one of the orbs hit him the resulting blast hurled the might giant clear across the city much further down the great world's capital city then where the battle took place. The other orbs also hit their mark further smacking the nobody between their blasts and shooting him further and further away till he was quite literally in the opposite end of the city. Thelen would land with a thunderous quake into the ground, smashing down like a heavy meteor that flew out from the skies, his non enchanting clothing rippled and burn to shreds while his god like physique rippled in blood, burn marks and muscular goodness outwardly from its skin. A few times the giant would cough up some blood while noticing the bruising and damage with his sense of touch. His harsh face would twist in seething intent glaring in the direction of the blast Thelennx cracked his neck, spitting out the blood before getting back up and gathering himself. He would start walking back into the direction of the battle while his face became enraged, gathering speed which he needed to enter the fight once again soon to unleash that level of enjoyment back. He would grant the female one additional thought that drove him to this rage

The heartless had thinned. The fliers that Chandra couldn't deal with were simply eaten up by the sultan's flames. The other warrior held his own, beating his adversaries almost mercilessly. Wolfram, enraged by the heartless who did harm to the angle, crushed the Volcanic Lord with his bare hand, never letting go of it even when flames engulfed his fist. As soon as that one was deal with, he brought swift ends to those who remained,

A strong presence drew near, taunting the sultan and attacking the warrior first, who was sent flying back when the balls of fire impacted him. Chandra's halo pulsed as she released holy energies from within herself to heal her allies. Hopefully it was enough to take back the damage done to the Nobody.

She hovered behind Wolfram as he advanced to face their new enemy. Swinging his ax overhead, it burst into flames as it crashed into the ground near the attack. The surface cracked, before jets of fire burst forth from the earth. He wasn't waiting around for the witch to make her next move. Under the cover of the flames and rock that shot up from the impact, Chandra's little halo was thrown towards the enemy, hoping to catch her off guard and buying the others some time to make their moves on her.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

The Avatar’s attention quickly shifts to the thunderous racket created by Wolfram’s ax. And, as she does so, a flash of lightning claws out from within dark clouds. With that sudden burst of light, the black, inky substance is forced to shield her eyes. The combination of elements working in tandem, is more than enough to have Chandra’s halo fly straight to its target. Upon contact, the holy elements easily burn through the outer surface of the witch’s skin, with it moving so easily, the angelic piece embeds itself within.

Her screams come like a cat’s yowl as she clutches at the halo. Clawed hands tear at it ravenously while tendrils of her own body wrap around the weapon and the wound. Within seconds her pained cries calm, replaced with panting. After a moment, she chuckles between lungfuls of air, her milky white eyes peering through the screen of smoke. Gritting her fangs, she speaks, in breaths.

“Y-you,” she gasps, “you’d throw something so important at me?” Another fit of laughter, followed by a casual flick of the halo now residing in her chest. “You foolish angel, your halo will make for a nice snack. As will you in due time.” It’s then, the rain falls down in droves, the dark clouds having held back their torrent for as long as they could. Another flash of lightning illuminates the witch now glowing with purple flames. Any droplets of rain that cascade upon her form erupts into steam in an instant. But, this steam doesn’t dissipate, only growing in size and density as the storm continues to drench the area.

Then, she inhales, taking in as large a gulp as possible. Her eyes scan the area in an attempt at finding her targets. Upon seeing the form of Wolfram’s giant form, she exhales sharply, a thick black smoke erupting from her maw. The steam that crowded around her form morphs into the same ugly black. With the large amount that’s filling the air, it doesn’t take long for the fog-like substance to invade the area. Only the rooftops are visible at this point. And, those that were exposed to this substance, would be subjugated to the horror that was to come next..

With a snap of her fingers igniting a spark, the entirety of the smoke erupts into a quick flash of flames. Any who were unfortunate enough to be in it, would find the heat consuming them as quickly as one would flip a switch. As for Chandra’s halo, the longer it remain lodged within the hellish creature, the harder it’d become for her to get it back. Should it remain for too long, the body will consume it, adding the object to a never ending void of darkness.

Through a combination of Eno’s influence and Chandra’s magic, the duo would be more than enough to insure the survival of the four in question, but such spell would leave a devastating effect on the group should they be caught. Unfortunately, for the Sultan, he barely manages a breath of air before the fire consumes his form.

Faster and faster the giant of nothingness travelled through out the city back onto the fields of battle of this day, he was certainly flung quite far at top speeds to come here so suddenly, in service to the ruler of this world he had to take the direct roads instead of damaging the nearby buildings like before. It was harder to get away with vandalism if they someone had seen your fast. It was then that his thoughts fell onto his allies in hopes that they were bringing the beat down on that bloody witch well enough without him and that there would be a piece of her left for his wrath.

As the tiny speaks of the party came into sight it was a slight twisted breath of relief for Thelen to see the action still going about, it was a little distance away but it didn't seem like his presence from the back was noticed just yet. Quickly though as his smile came back it faded off into memory as a strange coloration took notice to his heightened senses first black as night streams leaping off from the paintings and taking in the color then just as quickly lighting up into a huge maelstrom of flames taking over taking their forms.

Heeding the danger the sliver knight had to act fast, quickly holding his positions at the distance right at the edge of the huge walls of fire Thelennx focused his ability to manipulate the space itself, specifically the area around the fire storm itself. Lifting it with the strength of his own muscular power the Nobody attempted to lift the flames what they were burning on and send them flying into the air high high above into the skies. Hoping the air would grow thinner to weaken the red energies or at least blow at the fire from the rush in motion to it.

As the witch taunted Chandra for her perceived misuse of her halo, she simply gave her a deadpan stare as the halo was back where it belonged, hovering above her head. Its true that it was precious, but it was her only means of attack as of this moment. Plus, throwing it at her was alright because of the fact that she could summon it back whenever she wanted, and way before any damage could be done to it.

The black cloud enveloped them as it swallowed the streets whole. They both knew it was dangerous, not only because of the visibility dropping sharply, but because their intuition told them to get out as soon as they could. It was easy for Chandra to take to the skies on her wings, and Wolfram himself quickly jumped out and onto the rooftops, which was fortunately free from the cloud's dark presence. Hopefully the world's leader had kept himself safe as well, and the other one was hopefully too far to get affected by whatever this witch was planning, which not kept a secret for long as the cloud erupted into hellish flames in a flash. Even though Wolfram would have been safe, some of the smoke was carried on him when he jumped, clinging to his form which then ignited.

He grunted in pain, but it could have been worse. Chandra was too high in the air to be taken by the flames, but she could feel the heat rushing upwards. Suddenly, the flames seemed to rise to the air. Chandra took cover on the rooftops where the flames weren't touching. Wolfram jumped forward, swinging his ax down at the witch, but this time he was gunning for the head. Once he lands, whether or not he landed his hit, he would quickly spin his ax around in an attempt to cleave her midsection. Chandra herself would again send her halo flying at the witch, using the rising flames as her cover this time.

The halo, the one the witch believed she’d stolen, suddenly disappeared from her body. Where she not in the middle of combat, and had a goal set, this could have possibly stole the wind from her sails. Instead, she stands there, motionless for a few moments.

“Oh, that’s right, they’re connected,” she blinks a few times, her limbs falling limply at her sides, “have I really been out of hell that long that I forgot? Oh well, at least the fire will-” the avatar’s mouth remains open as Thelenex uses his influence over space, combined with his immense physical prowess, to lift and toss the flames into the air. She watches helplessly as her attack flies higher in the sky it goes. “I think I’m starting to see why those heartless couldn’t do anything.”

She barely uttered those words before Wolfram came leaping up to her atop the fortress. Such strength to be able to carry him such a large distance within a single bound. As her milky white eyes gaze over the armored warrior, she didn’t see the Sultan coming at her from behind. One of her blackened limbs morphs into a jagged-tooth blade from the forearm down. Sparks fly in all directions when the two connect, neither staggering from the force. However, the pressure forces a gust of wind to overtake Eno, causing him to wince, but not slow his own strike.

When Wolfram pulls back to follow up with a spin, Eno impales her from behind with Februus, causing her to scream in agony. She clutches at the blade now protruding from the upper portions of her chest and neck helplessly as the giant’s axe cleaves true, separating her upper body from the lower. Now, her mouth hangs open from the sudden shock. After a few moments, she coughs, the sludge making up her body now running from her maw and wounds like congealed blood.

“H-How? In an instant, I couldn’t even-” her raspy voice trails off as Chandra’s Halo hits its mark yet again. What would have been insults devolves into murmurs while her lower half breaks down into a pool of black liquid, “you really are a bastard,” The Avatar finally manages after a few moments. The keyblade warrior’s response is to roll his eyes and shake his head.

“I’m not stupid. It may have been almost a century since our last fight, but that’s not enough time for me to forget how you work,” Eno grits his teeth, before slinging her body to the side. “Watch your feet big guy, she’s playing games,” The now undulating darkness that was her legs made an attempt to slide its way to Wolfram’s feet, but the keyblade now piercing the sludge pile stops it. He turns his head to find the avatar staring daggers back at him, using a new lower half to stand. Within that frame of time, the wounds inflicted by the trio have disappeared, and the halo dislodged. The sludge Eno pierced, dissipates into small wisps of darkness before fading for good.

Her laughter comes from her in an oddly innocent fashion given her appearance, “well, what do you know? You do care about little old me.” The Avatar’s disposition causes the Sultan to point the tip of his weapon her way, causing her smile to widen. The sultan’s grip tightens as his body starts to shake. The memories of his time within the realm of Tartarus come flooding back in this moment. Seeing his vacant expression, the witch opens her arms, approaching slowly.

“You know, that offer still stands. All I need is a few seconds, and you’ll be inside me once again.”
“You disgust me, I left you, that fool Hades, and the rest of the Underworld behind long ago.”

“A dog is still a dog, Eno. No matter where you end up, or how long you’re gone, as soon as your nose catches a whiff of his scent you’ll move your little feet back to your master. Besides, I’m sure he misses you, just like I do,” the ink black figure hugs herself, shivering madly as though a feeling of ecstasy were moving through her in waves.

“I miss watching you march endlessly through my sands, swimming through my seas, and trekking through my swamps, helpless as despair claws its way through your very being,” her body shivers, and a moan escapes her lips. Before the duo can even blink she disappears from their sight. In a gust of wind, she reappears behind the Sultan, the once jagged blade, now a clawed hand.

“Your agony was delicious,” she says, swiftly bringing them across Eno’s face, cutting his face open from one cheek to the other. As the regeneration goes to work, the Sultan attempts to fight back, only to have the keyblade parried immediately with her other hand, “especially when you fell to your knees and started crying, begging for someone to pull you from my grasp.” The witch knocks Eno back a good twenty yards with just a backhand alone. When the two meet again in pitched combat, Eno flourishes his blade, swinging it about wildly, yet with deadly accuracy.

Every hit is a potential kill shot but, when coupled with the arcs of moon element that expand in a ring around his body. However, with the witch’s superior speed and agility, all of his attempted strikes are met with a flurry of limbs. Though the Sultan reaches speeds that leave his arms and keyblade a mere blur to the naked eye, the witch was on a level just beyond his reach. It’s almost as though she were toying with him, waiting to see which vital area she intends to strike. And, with his flames not even manifesting on her form, it only serves to further widen the gap that still exists.

“Just like the billions of corrupt souls that entered my realm before you, I want to see those tears pour down your chubby cheeks again! I want to see your suffering anew!”

“SO GOD DAMN ANNOYING!” Eno yells as lightning flashes brilliantly across the dark skies, “DO YOU EVER SHUT UP?!”  bringing up his keyblade in a vertical slash he tries to land another blow. What would have cut her in two up the middle, is instead blocked when the Avatar of Tartarus brings her arms up. No visible damage could be seen, but the force behind his strike has her sliding back towards Wolfram, whom still had his weapon gripped firmly in his hands.

“You’re up to swing big guy!” The Sultan shouts, an angry smile gracing his features.

Things were unfolding with a breath of interest now as the witch showed herself to be quite the combatant as well as a personal acquiescence of the ruler of sands. He questioned just how such a vile witch and such a normal at least looking fellow came across such a monster, her disposition was something not to be desired for. And her fury for his blood told quite the scorning on his part it so far, was this even a fight anyone else should get involved in.

They exchange allowed Thelen to deliver the flames he had carried off far away from this world without interruption allowing this to be one less challenge on their plate all the while as the other three battled on the black witch. She targeted the sultan solely for his own pain while leaving the others alone. Either assuming she could take them out one by one in haste and without interference. It would prove her folly though they two towering pillars of muscle would need to avoid clashing with each other if that would be her goal to rely on friendly fire.

As she was sent flying towards the axe wielding reptile Thelenn amplified the man's ability using his untapped mystic forces. Heightening Wolfram's speed, power by a decent amount behind his already impressive size and giving the giant a little hint of elemental fire to empower his attack adding to his effectively. In the mean time Thelen would also prep his own weapon to catch the next fly ball should it come his own way or if the ball seemed to fly off on its own leaving the other's two's range of sight. He braced his legs strength down holding firm at his position but about to spring into action the moment something about the enemy's movements might be off.

Trouble on the Western Front (Open) Empty Re: Trouble on the Western Front (Open)

The problem with these creatures was just they didn't know when to just die or retreat. Wolfram didn't need to be told twice to keep his guard up, and was ready for anything the witch could possibly have under her dark sleeves. Her severed lower body turned into a disgusting sludge that went for Wolfram, but action wasn't needed as the sultan stopped it in its tracks. Unsurprisingly, the witch turned her attention to the sultan and taunted him, and it seemed as if she was getting into his head. It didn't take a whole lot to see that she and him had a history.

Did he consort with that demon? Wolfram had lost his right to criticize as he himself had been consorting with demons ever since he deserted from his cause, the cause that he was manufactured to uphold. The pair looked on and awaited for an opening, and it came when the witch and the sultan clashed, with the outcome being the witch being flung over to Wolfram. The giant was ready for it, but as he wound up to strike the witch, he could feel something boosting his physique, and it also seemed his molten-bladed ax burned hotter this time. Was it the other person's doing? Well, it was only right he got a piece of the action.

He swiped his ax across with all his augmented strength, batting the witch towards the other warrior. The impact caused a spark as the wide side of his ax caught the witch and diverted her course, even speeding her up towards the third station.
