Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
~♥ Welcome to the raid, kupo! Here is some information you need to know before you start posting. There is a limit to the number of times a character can post. This is so a fight won't go on and on, kupo. For these particular raids the limit is 10. On the last post, characters will need to prepare themselves for the end of the battle whether that be by retreating, setting up final defenses, sacrifices, etc. A warning will be given on the last post to remind you. That's all and have fun, kupo! ♥~
In the city of light, a small girl was walking down the street, holding a basket of flowers on her arm. Her mother sold them for a living and she was always excited to help her push the lovely little rose cart down the street. The family had gathered flowers from all around the worlds and sold them to the public. It wasn’t a big business, but it made the coin they needed and gave everyone a smile. That was enough.
On their way home, the mother realized she had forgotten something at the shop and before she could say no, her daughter went scampering off to retrieve it by herself. When she arrived at the booth, everything was in order and the basket of pink roses that had been left behind were fine. She gathered them up and raced for home, knowing that they would wilt if she didn’t get them into some water and cool air soon. The girl took a turn by the fountains, hoping to get home quicker, but ended up becoming distracted when she thought she saw something from the corner of her eye. Turning around, all she could see were the multitude of fountains changing colors as always. She was about to continue on when she felt a stomp that slightly shook the ground. Squinting her eyes, she realized that there was something moving in the water. Being a child, curiosity took hold and her sense of danger was numbed as she approached this invisible creature.
The mother was out of breath as she approached the fountains, and her daughter’s name was caught in her throat as she gazed up at the horrific sight before her. A giant black lizard held the small child between its long claws staring intently at the woman who had approached it. A dark look came into its yellow eyes as it seemed to be annoyed that its meal was interrupted. It dropped the girl and she fell into the water like a ragdoll as the Stealth Sneak decided to change its prey. A scream of agony could be heard from the highest tower of the castle to the lowly streets of the village shops. As if answering the call, Heartless rushed out from the darkness, feeding upon anyone unfortunate enough to cross their path.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
To think he came here just so he could surprise Jessica with a new piece of jewelry and a new piece of armor for his daughter that he felt would the style of fighting that she preferred. Though seems all of that had to be immediately dropped and unfortunately he had no way of contacting the others. Though it was a swarm nothing to big, at least it had been faced before. Though, this one seemed to be different..Radiant Garden literally had a security system to deal with these though it looked like it would need some help and he would gladly oblige. Running on the rooftops towards the marketplace, he felt his adrenaline start to rush. Of course, he wasn't worried about himself he was definitely more worried about the citizens. Jumping down and summoning his bow an arrow coated in electricity and completely soaked in water appeared crackling to life. Taking aim and firing the arrow into the sky. Soaring high above the marketplace like a firework the arrow exploded with an umbrella effect a total of hundred arrows spread every which way and came down upon the heartless striking them with precision while the citizens ran away from this area. Trying to at least control the swarm if it was possible. He quickly jumped into the air as two arrows coated in spacial energy appeared within his arms Skye ready to run into the horde.
Usually he did have back up in the form of three other immortals, however this was finally his own time to help out. Running into the horde and jumping down into it he quickly slammed the arrows into the first shadows he saw sending them flying with the effect of his arrow's and towards the ones that were being electrified.
Hopefully his little light show was enough to either
A. Warn people that this wasn't the place to be a the moment
B. Hopefully send a sign to the army or anyone around who was capable that he needed someone too at least protect the citizens on there way away from this area.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
The last few sparks of light were reflected in the Stealth Sneak's eyes as the mother's body faded out of existence; her heart now clutched in the fiend's hand. A sudden flash lit up the sky, causing the fiend to look. Its pupils drew in as a thick bolt of lightning struck the ground next to it, missing it by mere inches. The cries of its brethren soon followed. A sense of agony that the Heartless had not felt from its kin in a long time. Such power definitely belonged to a heart worth stealing. Letting out a screech, it dropped the Soldier Heartless that was once the mother, and started climbing up the walls. As it neared the rooftops, the creature's olive scales began to shift, allowing it to blend in easily against its surrounding. With the naked eye alone, the Heartless was invisible.
The overlook was beautiful. Every corner of Radiant Garden was filled with chaos with heart after heart falling to the sweet embrace of darkness. The shadows had taken a hard hit from the lightning bolts, but were able to quickly reform with not a dent in their ranks. The only issue now was the enemy continued his assault, slowing the Heartless down just enough for their prey to escape. From its perch, the Stealth Sneak let out another shrill cry for its siblings before leaping from one rooftop to the next. It was not hard to find the attacker. Skye's heart was like a shining beacon, disgusting and delectable all at the same time. He would fall to darkness. The Stealth Sneak would see to that.
On the ground, the defense system was hard at work shooting beams of pure light against the fiends. Normally it would have no issue, but the system had never experienced such a concentrated number of Heartless. Its circuits were going double time, constantly firing without cease. It all seemed to be in vain. Each Heartless it took out were replaced by three more. The army was there to pick up the slack, but they felt just as overwhelmed. Until Skye showed up they thought all was lost. After witnessing his attack on the Heartless, their hope was renewed. Maybe they did have a chance. They were gaining ground on them, one baby step at a time, pushing them back instead of retreating. That in itself felt like a miracle. If they could even buy a few seconds of time for the citizen's escape, it would be worth it.
A few of the soldiers looked up as a shadow passed over them. They barely had a second to wonder where it came from before they were crushed under some invisible force. As they tried to figure out what was going on, another soldier was suddenly knocked unconscious as he was mysteriously flung against a wall. Materializing out of nowhere, a number of ominous lasers were aimed at the archer, racing right for him with dark intent.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
The little ones were easy enough and he had much harder fights in the past the hard part was simply having to deal with the mass numbers. The two arrows he currently was gripping and were coated in spacial energy were sending the dark creatures flying up into the air and further and further into the sky. That landing was going to be less then pretty for them, however he couldn't focus on those monsters. Making a clearing around himself for a moment, he quickly jumped into the air to survey what was happening.
An it wasn't looking good the whole place was surrounded by the heartless and not to far from him there was the ringmaster. The dark energies were at the highest point and while he was falling down back into the fray. Though Skye's eyes widened as he not only was he about to be bombarded from all sides. Streaking towards him at an incredibly alarming rate. Stretching both of his arms out and holding his palm's open a sphere of light appeared around the boy. The lasers colliding with the sphere, being absorbed by the sphere. The sphere began to glow incredibly bright possibly blinding things close by a the sphere began to flicker with lightening. A smirk appeared on his face while his snow white hair began to flick with lightening in between his hair. He began the process of overloading his own reflect with his own power. Usually the main problem with this was it would severly effect all dark hearts which Veara and Garth and Harley were proud owners. Though lucky for him they weren't here. Unleashing the sphere a large wave of light mixed with both his lightening energy and the power of the lasers that were just fired at him by the highest energy source went out in three hundred sixty degrees. The wave went out about a fourth of a mile and only extremely affected those with dark hearts. The boy touched the ground once again and his bow appeared in his hand once more as he quickly jumped into the air getting ready to fire another umbrella effect with his arrows.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
The Stealth Sneak saw the boy coming towards him, even with him still invisible. Though it was far more intelligent than its feeble minions, the chameleon Heartless failed to understand how this was possible yet. Nor did it have a moment to even make the attempt. A crippling pain gripped the Heartless and its underlings, many of which were destroyed the second they were touched by this wave of light infused power. However, they were not the only ones. A few of the soldiers within Skye’s view, and several more that were caught in the blast beyond, dropped to their knees screaming in agony, or fell unconscious altogether. For some it was both… or worse. Regardless, Skye’s attack definitely had an impact on the battlefield.
For a few brief seconds, the Stealth Sneak had become visible, but once it recovered, the shroud was donned once again. Its shadow was seen dashing around a corner, disappearing into the darkness of the alleyways. Vanished but the sounds of its feet were still there. It appeared to be running away from Skye, but there was more to it than that. There was a scurry of familiar footsteps to the Heartless as it moved along. It bounced off the wall and over a fence into a spacial area where it came to a stop at a dead end.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
While in the air Skye eyes narrowed and began to fly towards the area where the creature was located. Landing on top of the buildings he quickly simply followed where he felt the energies simply believing that his last huge attack may have stalled the heartless enough for the people to escape and get out of there. Following the energy to the alleyway, he quickly summoned his bow and drawn it. Looking down the alleyway he saw simply nothing, yet wasn't leaving it to chance. An arrow made of pure light appeared and he sent it flying down the alleyway followed by two more arrows of light aiming for the center and end of the alleyway. The arrows flew and when they hit the ground, there was a small implosion of light based energy that covered the alleyway. He simply smiled believing for a moment he may have this under control after his last huge attack. Deciding to save his next arrow umbrella effect a little while longer.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
The Stealth Sneak crawled along the walls and effectively evaded the arrows; however, though the chameleon managed to jump out of the way of the actual arrows, it was the burst of light from the last that got him. The outline of its shroud was revealed for a few brief seconds, just long enough that Skye would have easily noticed. The invisibility of the Heartless had been weakened and had become translucent enough to where one could see movement if they strained hard enough. Its shrill scream bounced off the concrete walls, reaching out to some of the other Heartless nearby who scrambled to their master’s call. The wave of lesser Heartless came bounding over the rooftops and through fences, and the moment they saw the young man they pounced, having no regard for their own life. They would attempt to claw and scratch at Skye, easy to bat away, but always returning.
Its leader climbed back onto the roof, hoping to get a little bit of distance between its pursuer so it could take a moment to recover. Its sibling had finally answered the call, and the baton was passed. Hiding amongst the horde, practically swimming through it, was another large Heartless. An unknown force reached out from behind, attempting to bind Skye’s arms and make him drop his weapon. The sensation would be pretty disgusting, wet, warm, and sticky. If that didn’t work, the new opponent prepared to dodge whatever Skye had in store—particularly that nasty umbrella effect.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
Skye was watching the alley like a hawk when he the light explosion's went off and the creature's cloaking was finally over. Quickly see this as his opportunity he took aim and fired at the creature once again using light arrow's aiming to keep this thing visible. The one arrow that was shot split into four light arrows flying towards the monsters body. These arrows would now be homing into their target, and just like before exploding when making contact with any surface.
Before the boy could even smile though it seemed the small fry had caught up to him on the rooftop as he found himself to be encircled. While he began to use his bow to send them flying into the atmosphere he simply began to think about his options. He could launch another umbrella effect, however if he waited a little while longer he could have it be much more effective though he'd need the right type of arrow first. That would probably be his best......and he felt it. Something sticky and warm suddenly holding his arms. The man blinked and he wanted to squeal out an 'Ew!' as his bow fell to the ground. Though he had to get rid of whatever was holding onto him, and fast. His body began to spark as his entire body began to spark and soon he sent out an extreme electric current around his body, it would only go out about ten feet, however it was enough for whatever would be grabbing him.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
The retreating Stealth Sneak thought it had found a quick respite to lick its wounds until it spotted Skye's glimmering arrows headed straight towards it. Jumping back to its feet it tried to avoid them. One, two-- the arrows exploded in a blast of pure light. The Heartless jumped to the wall, sticking to it like a gecko as it saw the last of the projectiles still following its tail. This was a game he knew well having a similar homing attack. Wait for the right moment, the Heartless leaped over the arrows, but got burnt by the brunt of the second duo of explosions. It hissed as it finally found the strength to don its cloaking magic once again, stalking the above the alleyway where Skye was.
It's companion was doing well for the moment. The man was forced to drop his bow as his arms were bound. Everything seemed to be going well, but this new Heartless was in for a shock--quite literally. Electricity flowed from the man, spreading through the area and the Heartless that surrounded him. Puffs of dark mist appeared throughout the horde as they were destroyed while other shadows were left paralyzed. There was a gurgling sound near Skye the moment his electricity flowed through the one that kept him bound. Standing right behind him, another Stealth Sneak appeared, twitching and surging with lightning bolts jumping over its back. It's eyes were wild with rage and the moment it was able to move, it violently yanked its tongue back, attempting to bring Skye along with it and tackle the man to the ground, its claws ready to rip and tear flesh.
The first chameleon Heartless waited for the right moment to reappear, watching from the edge of the rooftop directly above the archer. It hid in the shadows, directing its underlings that barely survived Skye's lightning attack to press on, throwing themselves recklessly at him just as before. At this point they were even more disposable than before.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
Still whatever was holding refused to let go of him and unfortunately his move wasn't enough for the creature to let go. Being thrown backwards into the wall his eyes almost rolled into the back of the head. Though quickly now he was face to face with what was holding him. A second sneak was now holding him and it definitely wasn't happy...though Skye quickly realized...he was being held by a tongue..OKAY HE WASN'T INTO THIS.
The man freaked out a little two light arrows appeared in his hand's brimming with light. The one in his left hand he jabbed into the tongue that held him, while the one in his right hand he sent flying into the mouth of the heartless.
Not worrying about damage from the arrows as they would in less then a moment explode he focused on simply getting out of the tongue's grasp. He's already been swallowed by a frog in the past, the last thing he needed was to get swallowed or slashed up by a heartless while being held by it's tongue.
Completely forgetting for a second that he had a whole town to help save, right now he was just focused on trying to escape.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
As the Skye's light arrow punctured through the beast's tongue, it snapped back from the young man with such a recoil that its body was forced back a few feet. The explosion followed seconds later, severing part of Stealth Sneak's tongue. An ear shattering shriek followed as the creatures slowly rolled its damaged tongue back into its mouth; it's broken teeth now scattered the ground. The blackened flesh squirmed and withered on the ground, struggling in vain to inch towards Skye's foot where it landed.
The other Stealth Sneak had recovered enough to return to battle, leaping down from the rooftops and charging towards Sky with it's horned face. The other tagged up, retreating around the corner to nurse its wounds. Meanwhile, another player had entered the battle, sending the nearby Heartless into a frenzy. They massed together, hundreds of bodies clinging to one another as they began to build up like a tidal wave, steadily growing higher and higher.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
The initial explosion from the light arrow caused some burn's on him, however being aligned to light they barely hurt...Though it looked as though he was messed up big time from his own arrow's. Looking ahead at the creature while it shrieked in immense pain. Once again his bow appeared in his hand and he prepared to fire another arrow at the stealth sneak on the ground. Though with the initial stealth sneak now charging at him, a spacial arrow appeared within's the bow's center. Quickly he launched it and it went flying at double its usual speed towards the horn of the stealth sneak. If it hit it would stun the stealth sneak while causing major damage to the creature. To follow up on his attack he readied himself by gripping his bow and throwing it straight at the sneak. The bow lit up with light and makes sounds akin to a buzzsaw aiming to go straight through the heartless with immense light energy.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
The green and black Stealth Sneak rushed towards it prey, claws bared and horn ready to run Skye through. The arrow struck the side of the chameleon's head, causing it to screech, but it didn't stop charging. It had reached just within arms length when the man's electrified bow came in contact with its face. The shock from this caused the Heartless to release two yellow lasers from its eyes at point blank range. It's charge stuttered for a moment, wavering left to right just enough to miss Skye, but it kept on running until it crashed into its sibling and burst right through the wall of an apartment. The two scattered apart, one dashing through the home, knocking and flinging furniture around as it threw a fit, while the other that had just been electrocuted in the face, jumped through the ceiling and began clawing its way up through the rafters. Screams came soon after, and the Heartless followed its instincts and went to hunting this weaker prey. It did not take it long to succeed, and the last that could be seen of the tenants was a bloody hand sliding down the window... too stubborn to evacuate when they had the chance.
From the rooftops, gunmen appeared bearing the seal of the Radiant Garden's defense force. They had followed the trail of darkness that the shadows had left behind to meet up with Skye and offer their aid. "Ready! Aim! Fire!" a spray of bullets rained down upon the dark alleyway, diminishing many of the smaller Heartless that surrounded the hero and were climbing on one another to grow bigger. The shadows continued to mass together, but their initial plan was weakened greatly by the soldiers that had cut a lot of them down. The tsunami they were about to make was now little more than a big wave. They crashed down towards Skye, flooding the alley with a hundred shadows that turned the ground into a black river of squirming bodies once again. A weakened attack, but one that still packed a punch and would be painful if not avoided. The moment the shadows were spread apart, they began to collect to one single area again, only this time they were climbing on top of something that could not be seen. The gunmen shot at this point, which soon vanished entirely and the shadows dropped to the ground. A second later, the brave soldiers were swiped and tossed through the air without warning, killing most of them with a fatal landing. It was obvious that one more Stealth Sneak had entered the battle, but it could not yet be seen.

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
Skye smiled when that the buzz saw hit its mark on the face heartless burrowing deep into its eye's though the result of that was to laser fired at point blank range. Shot in his abdomen Skye was launched backwards and felt the pain in his waist. Though he had no chance to take a breath quickly charge out of the way of the blind sneak, he quickly picked himself up off the ground. He ran towards his bow quickly grabbing it as another arrow appeared within the center of the bow radiating electricity. Though he had no time to fire this rather he looked up and his jaw gaped.
A wave.
Not just a wave of darkness, no it was heartless! A wave of heartless was about to barrel down on him possibly taking him out of the fight. Skye's willed his technique and once again from earlier the Ball of light that saved him from the laser's appeared once again. The Sphere of light was launched into the air from the wave protecting Skye from further harm, however while within the ball, he held his waist as blood began to fall down the side of his abdomen. Seemed as though he took some heavy damage. Not to mention a couple of his attacks took a lot of stamina.
He need to end this.
Halting the sphere's progression in the air. Skye now stood on the air in the sky still within the center of the sphere. A large arrow of light appeared on his back that was about the same size as his body. He couldn't fire this off automatically he needed at least a moment before it could be launched. Gripping the arrow with both hand's he stood there and light began to pour off of his entire body...someone aligned to darkness was about to have a really bad day.
Possibly ending it, however he needed to do this.
His bow grew in size to match the arrow and Skye was no longer even capable of wielding it simply taking the gigantic arrow and placing it within the center of the massive bow Skye with all his might began to pull back on the string. Aiming for the epicenter of where the wave had just struck Radiant Garden. The light sphere that was protecting finally disappeared and with that arrow was launched, the sound was akin to that of a bomb falling down from the sky. Burning light sparks began to stream off the arrow while it fell down. Skye watching from the air still hoped and he prayed that this would work.
The arrow finally hit the ground and with that, light burst forth from the large arrow. It traveled every which way and went through the houses not damaging the building, looking akin to that of a light that was simply purification. It continued even making the sound akin to that of a bomb would as the light stayed there for awhile or so.
Skye slowly not even of his own choice slowly began to come down from the sky falling onto the top of one of the larger building's. That was his ace in the hole when it came to area of effect strikes. It was enough to turn a mountain into a range in the past, so perhaps it was enough here to take out the many sneak's and heartless that were terrorizing the people. Forcing them out of their homes and slaughtering without abandon, this was their consequence. The only problem was though...Skye had no more big moves in his book after that.
Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
This will be the final boss post, kupo. The Heartless have attained victory. You will be allowed one post to respond. Remember, do not continue to fight a hopeless battle. To do so will result in death, but that is up to you. Your fate is in your hands. Sometimes the best tactic is to retreat, Kupo.
The battle between the Heartless came to a sudden halt. The Stealth Sneaks stopped, and witnessed the towering Darksides gather together, their unblinking eyes staring up into the heavens. All the Heartless knew what that meant. They could feel it in their very being. They were being summoned. The huge monstrosities each created an orb, raising them into the air to create one giant ball of darkness that pulled them back into their respective world. From there, they would follow the orders of their overlord and invade the worlds of Wonderland and the Land of Dragons. Those Heartless that did not teleport, were pulled into the giant portal along with their leaders. When all was done, and not a Heartless remained, the orb of darkness closed, creating a pulse of energy that ripped through Radiant Garden. Soldiers and civilians alike were thrown back from the force. Buildings that had already suffered damaged collapsed while others partially crumbled away, leaving the world in a veil of dust that took days to pass. The darkness had attained victory... and two worlds have suffered the most dire of consequences. Radiant Garden would survive another day, but for how long?

Re: Radiant Garden Raid: Stealth Sneak
Skye simply laid at the top of the building, slowly moving his head up and looking up at the gigantic darkside's that came before him. His eyes widened and he simply stared as he tried to make his body move in order to do something. However, his body wasn't responding. He stood there as he began to be pulled towards the sky. He closed his eyes and accepted his fate.
Though as his body began to fly into the air. A pink haired figure grabbed him and suddenly jumped into the air disappearing from the city. Leaving the city to its fate.
