Thelen release small spider line mines that are able to move on their own. The intend target they move forward towards trying to avoid bright lights and hide in the shadows before being able to lunch themselves, Exploding and covering whatever is around them with a strong adhesion that first forms a liquid before turning into a hard goo like glue which is very difficult to break. Further the substance is also an heavy irritant upon any skin contact.

His moogle partner worked really hard on making this substance, Thelen felt bad that his potion of youth turned out to be a bust but thought he humor the guy and use it for combat

yes it can, I'd say by sheer forces if someone could just rip it off or other means i'd consider common ground
