Tsumiko | The Songstress
Appearance
> Physical Appearance
With long, silky silver-blue hair that comes down to about her knees, she has silver-blue eyes and fair skin that compliments bright features. Standing at about 5' 6" and weighing around 155lbs. Besides her rather endowed bust, she has an otherwise thin yet toned build.
> Outfit or Armor Description
When at home or relaxing, she enjoys wearing one of her many bright, frilly dresses. They range in colors, usually whites or blues, and are on most occasions only as long as her knees. Coupled with tights or leggings, some form of heeled shoe or sandal are on her feet. Sometimes she'll go barefoot, though. Her hair is typically done up, ribbons or accessories adorning her silver locks.
However, when she leaves home, she's wearing more flexible attire. Something she can run and jump in without flashing the world whatever undergarments she's wearing. Tsumiko likes to keep it not so classy though, with a tight fitted, black corset that laces up the front. Resting on her shoulders is a white hood, disconnected from the rest of her garments, and is cinched in the front by a large blue gem. Halfway down her arm are loose, white sleeves. An accident one day led to the left leg of her capris getting ripped off, but after fixing the hem she continues to wear them even though the lengths are different. Around her right thigh, a pouch containing various things is usually fastened there. Fishnet come to her knees on both legs and tall moccasins sit above her ankles.

Personality
Bubbly and inviting upon first encounter, she's the kind of person that can hardly be classified as suspicious. Sometimes coming off as naive or childish, a warm smile is usually gracing her lips and she's always eager to befriend just about everyone. Despite any reputation one might have, Tsumiko gives everyone a fair chance before making a decision on how she feels towards someone. Though there are times when she can be serious and mature. It isn't her favorite disposition, but she can manage when the situation calls for it.
Or at least, that's how she wants people to see her...
The practiced outer shell that she had for herself was made to mask what it was that she didn't want to feel, to hide what she didn't want others to see. That shell was who she wanted to be, but was never able to truly become. For the most part it worked, so much so that she sometimes forgot that the illusion of a shell even existed. Inside, when she isn't drowning herself with tasks to preoccupy herself, it's hard for her to smile, to laugh from the heart. Keeping busy leaves no time for sadness, and so she forgets. Often more than she wants, adding to her seemingly ditsy outer persona.
____
After having her pure heart infested with darkness, and then cured, Tsumiko kept some residual attributed. While not brutal or moral-less as she had been, the innocence and naivety that she had crumbled, and Tsumiko acted more mature and suggestive. Sensual topics no longer flustered her, and she was more coy and thoughtful.
After having children, Tsumiko's motherly instincts took over. She smothers her kids with love. It's come to a point that they no longer struggle against it, and accept their fates. This same love is extended to all of her students. As a teacher, Tsumiko is nurturing and positive. Even those that seem hopeless receive attention to encourage them onwards.

History
They had always considered themselves a unit, her and her twin sister. They did everything together: play, love, learn, grow. Until one day, an accident took that happiness from her. It was never figured out just who, or what, did it but both her sister and her father had died, taken away. She was only seven at the time, just beginning to get a grasp on what life and death meant. By the end of the ordeal, Tsumiko understood very well what they meant.
In the following years, her mother succumbed to depression, the likes of which the little girl suffered from herself. The loss of her twin left her feeling very empty, as though a piece of her very being was missing. It was difficult to deal with, but for her mother's sake she pressed on. She wore her brightest smile, even though she hurt inside. She gave her most glee-filled laugh, even though she wanted to cry. She offered her best heart-warming hugs, even though she felt so cold. It was all for her mother's sake, so that she wouldn't have to loose any one else important to her. Despite her best efforts, Tsumiko's mother fell ill, mainly due to self neglect, and passed shortly after. She was only twelve at the time, hardly able to support herself.
After such a long period of time, her and her mother eventually lost ties with any other friends and family that might have initially tried to help them. This left the girl with no one but herself to look after her. Whether out of kindness or pity, the neighbors from across the way offered her housing, her own home being foreclosed due to her mother's inability to pay the bills. She was thankful for their generosity, and told them so many times, but there was no way the elderly couple could fill the void growing in her heart. Their granddaughter, on the other hand, did help if only just a little. The nine-year-old little girl came to visit quite often with her parents always gone for work. Her company settled Tsumiko's lingering emptiness, giving her the sense of sisterhood she'd been missing for so long. For the following years, she was cradled into a false sense of happiness. Then it happened again.
Of the elderly couple, the wife had passed and the husband was no longer able to take care of himself. The songstress did what she could to alleviate whatever strain this was putting on their family but it didn't seem to do much good. In the end they moved away, selling the house and leaving her all alone. She wasn't even able to say goodbye to the granddaughter she had grown so close to before they left. She was seventeen at the time, just starting to get a foot in the door of the maze called life.
Thereafter, she spent her time traveling. Little did she know of the vastness the universe held beyond the comparably small world of Radiant Garden. Her knowledge of such things as magic grew, and about the things lurking in the shadows. When exactly she first figured out how to fuse magic into her songs is unclear, most likely during her time rocks around in the Great Maw, but once the ability was discovered, Tsumiko began training herself in the art. It wasn't all for combat, though. There were plenty of passive things she could do with her voice. And she enjoyed enchanting an audience with songs, giving them cause to smile. A smile was the best expression someone could wear, after all.
_____
In later years, Tsumiko learned how to truly wear a smile. By chance or fate, she met a man named Gwain. From there, her life had quickly changed. It was a cliche case of love at first sight, with the two of them being more than just a little infatuated with one another. A handful of dates later, and the two were engaged. Gwain and Tsumiko were so sweet on one another that it bordered on sickly.
In an act of wanting to prove her love to him, Tsumiko had suggested a date to a wondrous place that she'd found. The world of music hidden away in a book had so completely fascinated her that the young woman and she was eager to share the find with her lover. Gwain happily agreed. The two ventured to Symphony of Sorcery, only for tragedy to strike. The songstress was kidnapped right from under the king's nose while on their date, and brought to a secretive base hidden there. There, Tsumiko was tortured to a great extent, and her heart tainted by a Relic of Darkness. Her pure heart, so full of light, was awash with the dark. The group known as the Unicornis, after their work was done, released her upon the worlds to do as she pleased. And the psychopath did just that.
Tsumiko roamed the world, killing as she pleased, with few morals and little restraint. The only person she remotely respected, was Marigold and the Darkson's. So much so that she acquired an entire world for them. Through some less than respectful means, she... disposed of the previous ruler, a man by the name of Iowa, and procured The World That Never Was, then bestowing it upon the Darkson's. This gift was given after a small 'squabble' happened in Twilight Town, wherein the songstress made her freedom known to her surrogate family, and assisted in the intensive care of a very brutally injured Darius Fetch.
In the following days, many were wary of Tsumiko's painfully obvious change in persona. It had sparked a battle between herself and Gwain, which resulted in his lose and complete mind control. Being seen as too much of a danger, the two were sent to another dimension entirely until the band of concern persons could figure a way to save Tsumiko, and by extension, Gwain. It wasn't long after that, that the two returned, with Marigold and Co. ready for a fight and with a means to save them. It was a long, difficult fight, but in the end, they were saved, Tsumiko's heart being returned to light. Thankfully, no further casualties were suffered.
Several months following the event, it was announced that Tsumiko was baring a child. She was overjoyed at the fact, and very eager to start her new family. Too eager, in fact. She sought out Himeiji and persuade the woman to give her her child. She wanted to meet them so very badly, to converse with them and get to play and interact with them. And so it happened. Her first child, Arthur, was given to her at an advanced stage of his life. Having skipped his newborn and toddler phases, he was very much as a four-year-old child would have been. Again, it was love at first sight. Tsumiko adored her son, loving him to bits and ensuring that he wasn't left wanting for anything. If it weren't for her then husband Gwain, the child would have surely grown up spoiled.
The same could be said of her other children. Fayt and Destinie were twins that she gave a natural birth to.With minor regrets. They were raised with that same love and care, and was pleased to see that all her children got along well with one another. But after a while of living within Darkson territory, the songstress managed to convince her love to move somewhere quiet, and with a beach. To Destiny Islands they went, and began a fun and full life there.
Not long after the Academy was opened, Tsumiko was invited to because one of its faculty. Her fame as an idol and songstress, though not retired, made her a perfect fit for the position as a music teacher. Already having been teaching inspired individuals, Tsumiko accepted to expand her gifts to multiple individuals. This was a gift that she couldn't and wouldn't pass up.
