Name: Geoffrey Jensen
Age: 43
Personality: Jensen is a humble being, often a man of politeness and respectful to the highs and lows of society. The only types he disrespects are those that don't abide by the law, in which he will often make comments about during a conversation. While he is willing to get his hands dirty for the greater good, he will not out-right condone illegal methods for the sake of one's own benefit. He is reluctant to kill people of his own kind, however things that paint the picture of a monster will summon his greatest fury in order to protect those around him. He is young and foolish at times, along with a touch of naivety so things he believes in might not be matured into powerfully thought out beliefs.
Race: Somebody

History: Jensen was raised into a family of farmers, however he was a child of the church back in the city. The priest who had bedded a married woman was excommunicated and the child was thrown from the city. Originally, the child was to be named Sodom, however his adoptive parents had changed it to Geoffrey Jensen to reflect their own name. Secretly, the family had a reputation of being monster hunters to protect the outer villages from those that crept in the dark. Wargs, Weres, Witches. They were terrors that plagued the farms but the Jensens often kept them at bay. Jensen's family had a sacred blade, Wolfbane, that was used for slaying monsters not born from the death of others (heartless and nobodies). Necromancers made the undead possible by interrupting the transitional divide by plaguing their lands with a curse. For those that died, they would return in a mindless second-life. Geoff watched as some families fell ill and succumbed to this curse while his father had to put them to rest. Another side effect was the rise of shadowy beasts and distorted vessels. They were used to the threat of heartless and nobodies, however the feral ones were only kept and bay and never truly slain.

As Jensen grew older, his father began teaching him in the ways of the blade and privately in the ways of magic. It came as a surprise that his family utilized magic against the feral witches of the wilds. It seemed to him that those who abused magic were to be the ones who would be considered monsters. The witches were often deformed and twisted by their own dark magics, so it was quite evident that magic wasn't to blame...it was the consequences of being foolish with it. Often the family was attacked by bandits only to have monster interference trying to take advantage of the fight to inflict wounds on the monster hunter family. Eventually, a werewolf had taken Jensen's father during a bout with the frequent bandits, mauling him to death and leaving the silver sword as the boy's only protection. His mother cast a field of light that warded off the wolves, but the bandits pinned her body to a wall with arrows. Forced to fend off the bandits, the losses were great. As he put his parents to rest, Jensen decided to scour through the house in search of secrets. Journals detailing monsters and other creatures led him to feel the need to start a cause. A cause to destroy all monsters, however he felt he was too young and needed something to learn off of other than books.

Packing his things, he found a makeshift ship and decided to head to the destination known as Olympus Coliseum. The villagers no longer had faith in the Jensens, or in anything really. He decided to let them recover for he could do nothing to protect them, only wishing to be trained by whoever trained his parents.

----

Eventually, Jensen had found many teachers in his lifetime. He had become a revered protector against heartless and other monsters, fending off the more unknown threats overshadowed by the dark creatures of the other realm. As the years went by, he traveled across many worlds before eventually coming upon his most difficult of hunts. He had to hunt a powerful Lycan, one the overpowered in every single field. Celerion did his best to arm Jensen for the battle, but he could not leave unscathed. It was a gruesome battle, and one that reminded him of his last days in the farmer village outside of La Cite de la Cloches. This Lycan was even fought in his home town, which had been evacuated as per Jensen's request. Meditating in a circle of salt, he had summoned the spirits of Eisuundar to assist him, blessing his arms with the holy light.

As a green mist rolled in, he knew it was time to face the beast, waiting for it to rush out from the darkness and smack against the warding wall made by the circle. However, it did no such thing. After half an hour of waiting, Jensen prepared his crossbow and exited the circle. Immediately from a top one of the houses, the massive Lycan pounced Jensen. He was able to ward off its attack with waves of powerful light, stinging at the corrupted surface of the once-man monster. Pecking at it with his burning blade,, he had slowly reduced it. However, he felt his age slow him. As his attacks had greater distance between each other, the Lycan had eventually overcome him. His magic wavered, and the beast had pressed his hand onto the cleric's chest, gripping it and lifting him. Pinning the cleric to the ground, it snarled at Jensen with great ferocity.

Jensen looked into its eyes, and flashes of when his parents died had overcome him. The Lycan began tearing into him, clawing his body and face. Eventually, Jensen's will to live had taken form of a burning light that encompassed his body. Tendrils of light pierced into the Lycan and tore it apart. Healing him, Jensen stood and recovered the Lycan's parts, collecting them for his alchemy. At first, he didn't notice anything different. But eventually, the revered hero was presumed dead as he became the very thing that he hunted. For the first couple years, he struggled both with restoring his place in society and controlling the internal rage that swelled. Eventually, he would be able to keep himself in check. With his new-found yet seemingly permanent hybrid state, he felt in his prime once more and continued hunting the monsters that plagued society, no matter their scorn.

Seen as an abomination by some, Jensen made it clear he was the same hunter and hero as before.
